The choices in the menu were well laid out and well described and when the food arrived it delivered 100% on our expectations. The service was attentive without being intrusive and it was an added bonus to meet Cyrus Todiwala who is as charming as he appears on TV.

Great atmosphere with attentive but not obtrusive waiting staff. It is great that Cyrus and Parveen make a point of personally speaking to each of the diners. Having dined here for nearly 20 years the food is always excellent and the specials really are special. Well worth a visit at any time =, for any occasion and if there is no occasion invent one!

We were met at the door by helpful staff and shown immediately to our table. Given a reasonable amount of time to look at the menu, we made our choices and the food began to arrive. This was Indian food so different - we could taste the spicing. Something that was hot, did not feel the need to burn your tasteless thus being unable to taste anything. It was a lovely touch to meet the chef and his wife who ran front of house, was warm and friendly. If only we lived closer, this would become a regular favourite - but whenever we come to London it will be.

We went last week for my husband's birthday lunch. He's a really curry enthusiast and it didn't disappoint. Great flavours and interesting dishes we both really enjoyed it. Staff friendly and helpful with the menu. An excellent choice worth the effort to get there and look forward to a return visit.

The restaurant wasn't very busy when I went there for lunch with my parter yet we had to wait long time for the meal and because of that we had to rush eating as obviously had to go back to work. I would assume that restaurant in this location would make sure quick service as people do hav limited time to eat their lunch and return to their offices. Food was average however I'd give them small extra point for the number of vegetarian options available.

The menu was really authentic and interesting. My husband had ostrich! The venue itself was not what I expected but pleasant, though not particularly attentive waiters although it was very busy. Service was a little slow - our table was not ready and I think they had forgotten about taking our wine order. However it was just over the road from our hotel (Grange Tower Bridge) and the quality of the menu and the food we ate was delicious.

The food was outstanding. The service attentive. Tables we're very small. With an Indian meal you usually gave a few dishes and we found we were moving glasses and bottles around throughout the meal. Wine was very expensive. And I'm not keen on automatic service charges. Could have done with sine background music. That said, the food is superb

This was our first time at a cafe Namaste and I didn't know what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients and overall dishes. Initially a lot of the flavours were very different from usual curries, however they were interesting and definitely somewhere I would like to go back to, to try more!

Knowing about the cookbooks written by its founder I was dumbfounded to be eating run of the mill dishes. Ironically the most sophisticated dish was the street food appetizer. The relishes on the Mutton special and the duck were sadly no better than what you'd get at a diner. I expected artistry and a taste experience - as I'm familiar with all the cuisines the chef draws from. My husband and I loved the festively painted dining but in the end, were underwhelmed by the dishes.

My wife and I thought we'd try something new for our anniversary, and we're really happy that we did. Impeccable service from start to finish, each course served very quickly. Very we'll thought out dishes, and amazing accompanying pickles and dips. Very good value for money, amazing food experience all round. I even bought a jar of the vegetable pickle that we had with the poppadoms as it was that good!

As a person who doesn't like eating Indian food I was totally surprised. The favours were balanced well. I particularly enjoyed the twist on standarded dished (coconut and betroot somosa). The resatrant had a homely feel, while maintaining elegance. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Front of house (chef's wife I think) was particularly welcoming and circulated well providing suggestions of accompanyments. I was thorougly impressed and can't wait to go back.

First of all I would like to say this is a superb restaurant, but on this occasion the service did let it down a bit, no menus and we had to wait approx half hour for one to arrive, after ordering our food the side dish we ordered never came, we reminded the waiter and he brought it 5 minutes later, Food was excellent so no problems with that, but for a restaurant of this nature a bit more attention to detail is needed

I booked a table for myself, daughter and niece. I had seen the restaurant on Celebrity Masterchef and thought this would be the perfect occasion to go there. It didnt disappoint from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Service was attentive but not pushy, the food was out of this world and for £93 we had 3 starters , 3 mains , naan bread , two beers and a cocktail! I could go on and on about how amazing it was but I won't. What I will say is you have to go there just to appreciate how amazing it is.

Once again a great meal. The Original and Frankie Lamb Dosa's are delicious. Would recommend the Parsee Style Chicken curry and rice with potato and the Chicken Tikka with Tadka Daal and rice. The restaurant seating area consists of a large and smaller area where mostly couples are sat, maybe a bit to close to each other. Would have preferred the larger part of the restaurant for a bit more atmosphere. Having said that, it was still very nice to meet Cyrus again.

Easy to find. Unusual menu. We choose the £35 a head taster menu. Excellent value, make sure you are hungry if you go for this or be ready to take a doggy bag home. Way too much food for us to eat, but an excellent introduction to this restaurant's menu and I'd feel confident to order next time I visit. Service was great, very attentive.

another amazing meal at CSN...the best thing in my opinion is the constant updating of the menu as well as the range of seasonal specials on offer - means that as a relatively regular customer I can always try something new! They happily made a lightly-spiced chicken tikka with some grilled vegetables and rice for my 3 year old son which he wolfed down and is now demanding he can go back...and who am I to deny him that pleasure! Awesome.

We pride ourselves on knowing Indian food but had never experienced anything so tasty!! The staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for you - taking the time to explain the dishes. The piece de resistance was when Cyrus and his lovely wife came up to meet us - what a lovely couple and you could hear the passion that makes his cooking so good.

I had the Dosa Starter (aka Milly Mackintosh on Masterchef) and Chicken Tikka Mains, as do most Brits when they visit an Inidan Restaurant. However the rice with this mains was heavenly and is a world above any other rice you have ever tasted. The Persherwi Naan was light and fluffy and again nothing like the fatty gloopy stuff I am used too!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Café Spice Namaste, I requested a Birthday Cake for my husbands 55th and was a little disappointed with the bought in Tesco Special Chocolate cake that was bought to the table. With a Well known Chef owning this restaurant I would of expected them to at least for them to of tried to bake a cake themselves so that it was fresh. However that does not distract from the rest of the food which was fantastic.

Four of us (two couples) dined at this restaurant. We shared taster starters and each of us had a different main course plus side dishes. With drinks the bill came to less than £40 per head. The food was beautifully cooked, delicious to taste and the portions were large enough to satisfy. It was a world away in quality from your average Indian restaurant. Service was both efficient and attentive. A real treat!

On a 3 day trip to London to celebrate a special birthday we wanted to have an Indian meal. We'd seen this restaurant on Celebrity Masterchef and decided to book. We weren't disappointed :) . The whole experience was great from the service, to the atmosphere and not forgetting the food. The chikken tikka was the most fantastic ever tasted and living near one of the curry capitals of England in West Yorkshire I've sampled plenty so this was unrivalled. The mojito cocktails were great, the pickle tray full of flavour and starters and mains to die for. If only we lived that bit nearer :). The staff were great and the complimentary pots of vegetable soup and the bellini were great touches. We'll be back next time we're in town :) . Thank you.
