Diner Reviews
  • "Went here finally this weekend with one of the girls to have a catchup after a day of shopping ! it did not disappoint from all the great review i have heard. We began with a glass of champagne, followed by some sharing plates of; edemame, tempura black cod, maki rolls, dim sums... it was all delicious and I will def be returning. Service was great, food was great , we sat outside as it was so warm. The tables could have been better, that would be my only fault - a bitt wobbly, on a small slope so not the best for eating. Anyway FAB EXPERIENCE!"

  • "Food is always good, service can vary. But in general worth a visit."

  • "i've been to cocochan many times before and always enjoyed it, the food is simply delicious, there is a huge selection of drinks (inc soft cocktails). highly recommended."

  • "My wife and I dined at Cocochan for lunch to celebrate her birthday. I would say the food was good without being really outstanding. The variety was great so perfect for those who like to have a wide choice. Service again was good but we felt slightly hurried so weren't as relaxed as we should have been!"

  • "Nice location but the food and service was poor. If the kitchen look like the lavatories, I would be worried...."
    dined on 07/06/2014
  • "Been there twice and food always good. Cocktails and wine list also good. Always a bit noisy unless you are seated at the back but a great place for a nice dinner with friends."
    dined on 05/06/2014
  • "I let them know that it was my birthday and they really went to town for me which was nice. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that the terrace was actually the pavement and the downstairs bar was closed as it was a Sunday. The staff were really nice"

  • "I went here for a business lunch. The service was quick and the food amazing. Good value and definitely a place which I'd recommend. "

  • "Very tasty sushi, sashimi and duck red curry! Great service"

  • "As usual Cocochan did not disappoint. Happy to introduce new members of my team to this venue. We had the bento box lunch apart from my boss who had dumplings and sushi - everything very good and served by helpful staff. This will not be my last visit."
    dined on 16/05/2014
  • "I think we were unlucky as I have heard great things about cocochan previously but the service was terrible. Our food took an hour to arrive and then only one dish arrived. When the other dishes finally arrived one of the prawn dimsum was raw in the middle. The manager did apologise and offer us 50% off saying that they were very busy. Given the prices we were very unimpressed."

  • "The food was top top quality and the staff were all very polite, friendly and efficient. A great place for a date or a meal with friends. I'd definitely recommend it! "

  • " The very good selection of food from different cuisine . ideal for sharing the food from lots of option."
    dined on 10/05/2014
  • "The restaurant was having a bad day, there was no sushi which meant more than half the menu was unavailable, no reason given, I was seated and left for 10 mins, finally I flagged down a waitress who said she didn't realize I was there. It took 4 requests to get a glass of water and my food came cold ( vegetable spring rolls aren't supposed to be cold). The bar was out of 2 of the wine by the glass. All in all a terrible lunch, I won't be back anytime soon"
    dined on 05/05/2014
  • "The restaurant is good value for money nothing amazing but good enough to go again. "
    dined on 02/05/2014
  • "When they phoned to confirm my booking they didn't mention they had no fresh fish for sushi and sashimi! Since these are a significant part of the menu we were very disappointed and if we'd known we would have gone elsewhere. The food we did have was tasty and well presented and went well with the house white."
    dined on 05/05/2014
  • "Great food ! Try the prawn kafilie exceptional! The taste is amazing , the service extremely good !"
    dined on 04/05/2014
  • "First time trying Dim Sum and thought Cocochan did a great job! Quite let down by the lamb cutlets we got though- they were far too rare! On the whole I still think it was a really nice experience to try out new styles of food and for anyone else who'd like to do the same I'd recommend Cocochan. For those interested the meal cost me £45 for me and my date. "

  • "Love the cocktails. Like that you can have a fusion table. I have introduced at least a dozen people to this. I go here at least couple times a month! Bravo on the seafood, delicious salt and pepper prawns, duck salad is divine..miss cocochan cocktail is nice ending to a work day! "

  • "We had an absolutely lovely evening at Cocochan. The food was some of the best I've eaten in central London. Great flavours, well blended - delicious! The service was great too. I can't wait to go back!"
    dined on 22/04/2014
  • "The starters in the restaurant where the best part of our meal. The Thai curry is no where near being a Thai curry, need to do much better to get me to return. Not cheap for what is not a great standard in "Asian" food!!! PS The Maki rolls where the best part of the meal!!!"
    dined on 18/04/2014
  • "Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the evening there. Service was good and food was exceptionally good, although I did not take to the seaweed salad. Certain to return there."
    dined on 19/04/2014
  • "we have stay 6 days in london and use tripadvisor to choose all restaurants. We went the for dinner on saturday. The rstaurants look well and the meal was good. But we went with our kids of 8 and 5, they look us differently when they saw kids and sit us in a table near the kitchen. It seems the dont like kids. After we ask 2 crispy duck , one for kids at the beginjing and one for us. They forget to prepared one of them and we get back to the hotel with the think that it was all because of kids. Perhaps its not the place to go with kids but its better to notice it."

  • "First time at the restaurant. The motive was to check out the hiring space so thought we'd have a dinner there. We were impressed with the food (bar the tempura prawn where there was barely any prawn!). Reasonable portions and good flavours plus attentive staff. "
    dined on 17/04/2014
  • "Did not start of well with erratic service, but recovered (no drinks when food arrived). Food was good although the chili sauce was too oily....asked for spicy food, it wasn't."
    dined on 11/04/2014
  • "Staff were so friendly attention to detail , for sure I will be back"
    dined on 07/04/2014
  • "Lovely dim sum options... And for main I went on to have the red duck curry which was lovely... Service was great, and all the waitresses recommendations I loved! A little loud, but it's to be expected with the bar downstairs!"
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "I had a wonderful evening eating lots of good food. The sushi and sashimi were amazing. Definitely recommend the Himachi (yellowtail) sushi and sashimi and the dragon roll."
    dined on 20/03/2014
  • "Located in the heart of central London - in the buzzing area of St. Christopher's Place - this is a gem of a place. I went for dinner with a few friends on Sunday evening and was really pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. The ambiance is peaceful and allows for a relaxed atmosphere whilst the food is top notch. We tried 3 or 4 main dishes and am happy to say, all of them were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place."
    dined on 23/03/2014
  • "Great choice of asian dishes. We loved the seafood tempura the most, although all dishes were really good (we had about six dishes for two people to share). Good service, but skip the drinks."
    dined on 21/03/2014
  • "Booked this restaurant for a late dinner with my sister. Dim Sum menu was amazing with the prawn tempura a particularly good choice. There was an excellent range of options and the tempura soft shell crab was tasty and crispy. We had a good time and would definitely recommend the restaurant."
    dined on 22/02/2014
  • "This was the fourth occasion I have eaten at Cocochan. The food, wine and service are consistently good. The ambiance is somewhere between casual and formal dining. Fun for either a post shopping meal or a birthday dinner."
    dined on 20/02/2014
  • "Great evening at Cocochan, food, ambiance and service was great, the venue is small but very cosy making it great for intimate dining. Unfortunately as the restaurant was fully booked due to it being valentines day we were unable to check the basement bar out for drinks, but it makes it a great excuse to visit again. The King Prawn Spring Rolls, Coriander & White Sesame were delish!"
    dined on 14/02/2014
  • "Went to cocochan on valentines day. It was good but they placed us in between other busy tables, whilst having other tables free, and the valentines menu which was on the website wasn't offered. Overall however the food was fantastic abs service was good. Would definitely recommend. Also, was kinda glad the set menu wasn't on as I could then have more choice. I just think it's important to fulfil what you offer..."
    dined on 14/02/2014
  • "Title says it all - all the food we had there was delicious, cocktails were great. But it was like trying to eat dinner in a nightclub - it felt really crammed in and the music made it almost impossible to hear anything without shouting, which everyone around us was. Highly recommended if you're with someone you don't want to have to talk to/see very well"
    dined on 07/02/2014
  • "Overall good food, nice ambience. Starters slightly small portions."
    dined on 02/02/2014
  • "Cocochan does not really live up to expectations. The food is very average and overpriced."
    dined on 03/02/2014
  • "My regular visit to eat their lovely dragon roll sushi but ended up having a full meal. The food as usual is fantastic but portions are tiny and do not justify the price. We paid £200 between 4 of us and still ended up hungry. I will still be back for their sushi. A loud group ruined otherwise a quiet evening which you usually expect at the restaurant. Shame the staff did not contain the rowdiness and shouting which was affecting other diners."
    dined on 01/02/2014
  • "The ambience was just perfect. The food was scrumptious... One of the best green curries I've ever eaten,"
