  • "Had a very nice lunch at Da Nang, starters and main dish. Good fresh ingredients, and tasty food."
    dined on 24/05/2014
  • "We were three friends who dined there one Friday evening in May 2014. There were a lot of vegetarian choices. The food was tasty and the place was not noisy. Would recommend trying it out."

  • "We took my daughter here for a birthday dinner and enjoyed the experience immensely. The food was great - a match for the better-known restaurants on Kingsland Road in Shoreditch - and the service was impeccable. Even the very brief wine list was spot-on. All in all a pho-tastic experience!"

  • "Excellent authentic food served by the most patient and delightful staff that never make you feel like you are being rushed. A real 'must go and try!'"

  • "We visited the restaurant enroute to a concert at the Hammersmith Eventim and we really enjoyed our meal. The food was of an excellent standard and arrived in plenty of time for us to make it to our concert. We particularly enjoyed the soft shell crab starter, the peanut curry main course and the aubergine with fish sauce side dish. The only feedback I would have for the restaurant was that we were not asked if we wanted a drink when we arrived, the staff seem to wait until you are ready to order your meal before taking drinks and food orders at the same time."

  • "We came for dinner on rare night out just the two of us. The food was good and value for money. All ok until I went to the toilet. Disgusting from long term lack of cleaning. Left a terrible taste in my mouth and ruined it for me, will never go back. Just thinking about it makes me want to wash my hands again."

  • "It was a pleasant dinner. Loved the sesame ice cream "

  • "Hospitable staff, lovely food and reasonably priced wine thoroughly enjoyed after a trip to the cinema. Particularly recommend the duck dishes and aubergine sides. Plenty of choice on the menu with good vegetarian options. Looking forward to our next visit. Would recommend booking."

  • "Its taken me 3 years to find a place in the UK that serves authentic Vietnamese food and this is the best! The restaurant is a lovely place to be,the staff were helpful and friendly, more importantly the food was box office and very well priced. My girlfriend hasn't tried Vietnamese food before and was blown away and it took me right back to Vietnam! We had a few starters, lovely finger food with dips that came out quickly and was fresh tasty and delicious, for main we had a platter of seafood/beef that you cook yourself in a broth along with veg herbs chillies and noodles and it was, without exaggerating the best Asian food we have eaten in the UK. If you love authentic Vietnamese food Da Nang is absolutely not to be missed if in London!!"

  • "First time eating at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and service was excellent. The value for money is very good too. I will be returning to this again."

  • "Went here for Valentines, was a nice place, food was decent. The only thing they could do better is have more choice of sauces for starters - they had the same sauce for two different starters. Starters could also be priced a bit less. The food was very tasty. We had starters of spicy tofu and chicken wings, and main of beef Rendang and pork noodles. The waitress was very friendly and took the time out to explain the difference between their Rendang and a Malaysian one."

  • "Not the best Vietnamese I've had. Nice ambience though."

  • "This is the first time we had dined at Da Nang Kitchen. Was looking for a place in the Hammersmith area whilst visiting friends. So glad that we found this place. The food was truly authentic, lovely flavours and priced well. I will definitely be coming back again"

  • "We really enjoyed our meal at Da Nang Kitchen. The menu is interesting and everything was cooked really well with lots of good flavours! We particularly liked the whole tilapia. The service was a little bit patchy at times but certainly very friendly."

  • "We use to go to Da Nang on a regular basis last year. But this year we were unpleasantly surprise by 30-40% price increas.Very untypical for the area. ."

  • "Nice change to try Vietnamese food, delicious starters and good vegetarian choice. The soft shell crabs were really tasty too. Beef curry was really nice and beef well cooked.Lots of choice, curries, vietnamese pancakes, fish dishes and more."
    dined on 30/11/2013
  • "I ordered chicken wings for starters and Bun bo hue for main course. The taste was so plain, which is totally unacceptable for such an exciting cuisine like Vietnamese."
    dined on 17/11/2013
  • "had dinner here with 6 friends, and everyone enjoyed the experience, although many were disappointed that when they tried to order coffees after the meal it wasn't possible due to not having any milk! We couldn't understand why they couldn't simply pop to a nearby shop and buy a pint of milk!?"
    dined on 11/11/2013
  • "First visit to this restaurant. Food delicious and freshly cooked. Will definitely be back"
    dined on 09/11/2013
  • "Fantastic place. Having travelled extensively in Vietnam and eaten at all of the usual places in London (Kingsland Road, Pho etc) this is definitely the most tasty and flavoursome food we've eaten over here. Would highly recommend trying this place. Good/friendly service as well."
    dined on 02/11/2013
  • "I think the experience of dining here was not too bad. I'd ordered crispy soft shell crab for starters but it took a while before I was told that they've run out of crabs. The crispy squid was I must say good. However the beef noodles that I had was below average. I suppose it did not say raw beef which I think is the one served in Vietnamese restaurants in Kingsland Road. Having compared it to Kingsland Road, food here was below par. Even the chilli served here was different."
    dined on 29/10/2013
  • "We went here for a Vietnamese meal as we have no Vietnamese restaurants near our home and love the cuisine. This exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return."
    dined on 26/10/2013
  • "Booked this to have a meal after the Apollo theatre. First time we have eaten Vietnamese food. It was "ok", but not as good as expected. I prefer to reward service as I find it, not to have 15% added to my bill. Will not be revisiting."
    dined on 12/10/2013
  • "Had a meal before a show at Hammersmith Apollo. Lovely food. Summer rolls were fresh. All the dishes we ordered were tasty and interesting. We were out in good time for the show Service was good, and friendly. Good value for money also."
    dined on 11/10/2013
  • "Food was first class, service was friendly and professional and the bill was surprisingly palatable as well !! We booked this restaurant for dinner prior to a show at the Hammersmith Apollo and went on recommendations found on TopTable - we weren't disappointed in any way. The service was prompt yet but not pushy and the food was delicious. The only downside is that we were staying in Hammersmith overnight as we live approx. 75 miles from the restaurant and so we won't be able to visit as often as we'd like. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion."
    dined on 28/09/2013
  • "We've been to Da Nang in King St a couple of times, but this visit, though not by any means bad, was 'just' good, and not as special as it seemed previously. The food was good, the chillies hot and the wine reasonably priced, but none of it was particularly special. A shame only slightly exacerbated by a general difficulty in attracting any waiter's attention. Perhaps it was just one of those nights."
    dined on 27/09/2013
  • "Lovely traditional Vietnamese food which is very good value for London. Staff is attentive and always smiling. Great for dates. Will visit again!"
    dined on 24/09/2013
  • "I have been to have dinner with my wife and a friend before an evening at the Apollo and have to say that the food was very good and nicely presented. We ordered starters and mains, they come out quite quickly and we absolutely loved it. The portions were generous and well prepared. The service was an added value as the waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Would definetely recommend it to our friends for a nice dinner or lunch quite close to hammersmith."
    dined on 22/09/2013
  • "Was really impressed with da nang kitchen - the staff were really friendly and helped us with our indecision over the menu and the food was delicious - especially the summer rolls, betal leaf beef and prawn dumplings. Will definitely go again...!"
    dined on 18/09/2013
  • "So many tasty looking things to choose from on the menu. We opted for soups to start with followed by crispy pancakes as main course. Everything was delicious, generous portions and with nice, fresh ingredients. Really good value too. Will definitely return."
    dined on 15/09/2013
  • "This is becoming a regular venue where I have diner with friends! A lot to choose for starter and main. The crispy duck rolls and summer rolls were superb! Then we had roasted honey duck seasoned with 5 spices and mixed seafood stir-fired with coconut and vegetable, absolutely delicious! Give it a try, you will come back."
    dined on 03/09/2013
  • "Superbly placed near free on street parking, this new Vietnamese is starting out in a part of Hammersmith where so many restaurants have tried and failed. It is a welcome addition to the range of cuisines on offer. The value and offers are outstanding. The food isn't yet up to the standards I've found on Kingsland Road in East London where there is a cluster of Vietnamese places - but give it a try for a week-night or weekend mid-price treat before the next element of your evening."
    dined on 28/08/2013
  • "Really excellent Vietnamese food, Central Vietnamese dishes like bun thit nuong and banh xeo especially were some of the best we've had, and we are VN food addicts! Service was excellent, all the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing, and were also a great help when I thought I had lost my wallet. Definitely better than any other VN or 'VN' restaurants in the area, and excellent value. We enjoyed it so much we took a visiting friend for dinner the very next day! Highly recommended."
    dined on 24/08/2013
  • "Two friends and I recently had dinner at Da Nang. The waitstaff was amazingly friendly and helpful (I have a food allergy.) The food was fresh and outstanding value, but my noodles were overcooked and so not great. I had the exact same meal the week prior and the noodles were excellent, so maybe we just caught them on an off night. If you're looking for a solid Vietnamese option, definitely consider Da Nang."
    dined on 22/08/2013
  • "Authentic Vietnamese food in a casual setting. Liked the crispy dumplings as a starter and the pork with chilli and lemongrass. Food is very reasonable priced."
    dined on 04/08/2013
  • "Dined at Da Nang Kitchen with 3 others and had a wonderful meal. We tried a selection of dishes, a few of which were chicken wings, crispy squid with salt and chilli, sesame prawn baguettes, flash fried rump steak in cognac. Food was fresh and tasty, great value. Overall, it was a rather pleasant evening! Looking forward to returning."
    dined on 19/06/2013
  • "Food is good but somewhat overpriced Service very good Good place for a night out"
    dined on 12/06/2013
  • "Had lunch there on Monday Bank holiday with a vegetarian girlfriend who had never tried Vietnamese food before. She really enjoyed the vegetarian spring rolls and the vegetarian crispy pancake which I suggested to her. I had the dumplings for starter and sea bass on mango sauce with steam rice. Beautiful! All this for an outstanding value of £18/head (service and drinks included). I would suggest to Da Nang Kitchen to play a soft and low track of Vietnamese/Asian music, disco/rock is best for other venues to my taste. To finish, I would say that I am now a regular at Da Nang Kitchen and will continue to recommend. Try it, you won't be disappointed!"
