We enjoyed our trip to D&W immensely. The food was delicious and the staff really looked after us well - giving good advice on what/how much to order for our party and recommending dishes. The staff were attentive, friendly and not too overbearing. Unfortunately the view was of white clouds, however we will certainly return on another occasion and hopefully on a better day weather wise! We tried the majority of dishes on the menu and would recommend most. The duck & waffle dish was delicious and pig ears, scotch bhaji and lobster brulee also deserve a mention. The baked Alaska desert was also very good!

Some great wine collections and the quality of the food was excellent with a good sized portion, Some very intriguing dishes to choose from.. The views from the restaurant are excellent considering the fact that the weather outside is good and the table layout is very nice with the right ambience maintained. The service would need a little of a tuning to get up to 5 stars.

The staff at Duck and Waffle were incredibly attentive and very friendly, top notch service with a smile. The quality of the food was superb and they must surely be heading for a Michelin star eventually. The view over London from most tables but especially those next to the many windows is unbeatable. You are actually sat much closer to the windows than in most of the tables than the other major high rise restaurant at City Social.

Dining at D&W is more than just eating food, from the second you walk out the lift it's an experience that's hard to find elsewhere in London. From the excellent service, to the views across London, the staff really do go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your meal as much as possible. I can't recommend the place highly enough. It's not the cheapest restaurant out there, but it's worth every penny.

Got to sit next to the window with an amazing view over London this sunday evening. The server was really helpful and with good knowledge about the menue and all dishes. My partner said that the Foie Gras Creme Brulee we had was one of the best he ever had and the Duck & Waffle dish I found very yummie, they even arranged the waffle glutenfree for me. Wonderful place

It was fantastic experience. First - we were very lucky to order table just for next day. Second - we were seated in corner with fantastic view of London from 40th floor. And the last but not least - fantastic food and service. Oysters were perfect, Duck and waffle delicious. Thank you for amazing dinner experience.

This is my favourite restaurant in London. The food is always fantastic and the views are unbelievable. What I love about this restaurant is the service. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I went for dinner with my family and 2 year old nephew (they have highchairs) and the restaurant was very accommodating and we weren't made to feel unwelcome as can sometimes be the case. There wasn't a long wait for the food, in fact the service was really quick so again making it a great choice for families. Even my nephew was a fan of the duck and waffle :) I am always recommending the restaurant to friends and family. I am actually back there again 3 times in the next month. I've been to a number of restaurants in London but Duck & Waffle is by far my favourite. The service and food is always consistently amazing and I look forward to my next visit.

This restaurant ought to be ashamed of itself. From start to finish it was nothing but an overpriced, unpleasant mish mash of flavours that not only failed miserably from a culinary point of view but which was served to us by a cast of incompetent clowns. A ghastly mix of tragedy in the food and comedy in the serving staff made for a miserable experience overall. Thank God they have a decent view or this place would surely have been out of business years ago. In 10 years of eating out in London I have never before refused to pay service on a bill and hope never to have to again. Save your money. Do not go. If you want a nice view and excellent food, eat at Oblix or City Social.

We came as a party of five to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. The whole experience was fantastic, starting with the ride up to the restaurant in the very fast lift. We then had cocktails in the cocktail bar. Exciting and different cocktails. The serving staff were all really helpful and friendly. I particularly liked the fact that the serving staff were helpful refilling our water glasses. Often it is difficult getting staff in some restaurants to serve you with drinks you are not paying for. We started with the pigs ears (delicious) with one of the speciality breads, then had four starters to share. I particularly remember the roasted lobster creme brulee, which was fantastic. For our main course we shared three duck and waffles and a tartiflette. The d&ws were fantastic. I can see why they are a signature dish. The whole meal was excellent and pretty good value at £320 for three courses, cocktails and wine between five. I will certainly visit again.

the view is fantastic, the place is but unfortunately the food poor: they try to be trendy, to be sophisticated by inventing some plates, or some tastes, but when will people understand that food is and must remain simple! there's no need to try to be glamorous with inventing chicken at raspberry sauce and a truffle "bed" ! those mixes are non sense!! it's a pity..

We tried the bbq crispy pigs ears, signature dish duck and waffle, foie gras creme brulee and the bananas brulee belgian waffles. The pigs ears and duck and waflle was tasty. The foie gras creme brulee was ok, didn't have the wow factor which was a shame, would have been nice if the toasted brioche was hot and not cold. All in all, the meal was ok and not amazing, suppose the view over the city of London compensates.

It is not my first visit at Duck and Waffle, the service is already brilliant but just gets better everytime! The food was delicious, my 3 recommendations is the foie gras creme brûlée and onion jan and Stilton bread for starters and for mains their signature dish the "duck and waffle". The wine list and cocktail list is very good! The views were spectacular as per usual. It was a wonderful evening - and is definitely in my top 3 restuarants in London. Am sure I will be back soon!!

We really enjoyed the whole evening, in fact I would say that it was the best dinner experience I've had. Got a table right next to the window and the fireworks only added to the view! The food was delicious and surprisingly good value for money as well. I would certainly recommend the duck and waffle dish, the flavours work very well together. The table service was also excellent and it really seemed like that the staff took a liking to our table which was really nice. Needless to say my girlfriend had the best birthday evening.

Duck&waffle is always great to be there, the food is nice, but over an year the menu did not change , so it was always the same dishes. The service is always better at brunch / Lunch than at night, it seems the employees are slower and are more tired. Over all is a nice place to go, nice view, but over the 6 times I went to D&W every time the service is worse.
