  • "Great food, great service and great view!! Can't ask for much more!!"

  • "We had an amazing view as we were lucky enough to get a window seat, the food was tasty but the oxtail wasn't to my taste. It was busy and so the staff were a little stressed but were very attentive all the same."
    dined on 17/08/2014
  • "Torrejas - maple caramel apples, cinnamon ice cream is must to try!!!!! delicious!!!!!!!!"

  • "WOW - what a great place! Set on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower the views over all 4 corners of London are spectacular! The food was brilliant and well presented, my wife had the Scrtambled eggs with avo and smoked salmon, and i had the Duck and Waflle - was epic! We really recommend this spot..."

  • "I love it here. I love bringing people here. Great wine list. Great drinks list. Fab menu - I adore the namesake Duck & Waffle dish. Never been disappointed (apart from when trying to get a table at short notice!). Great for a treat."

  • "Booked the experience for my husbands birthday and we weren't left disappointed. The food was great, the views fantastic and staff very attentive."

  • "An interesting menu with stunning views of the city but........... Service was patchy - it was hard to order tea of all things. The classic "full english" was ok but unexceptional - Weatherspoons breakfast is just as good for one third the price. Will probably go back just to see if I was unlucky............."

  • "Duck and Waffle was a really pleasant experience from start to finish. Excellent service, amazing views and great food. Great for a romantic dinner."
    dined on 14/08/2014
  • "Took my cousin and aunt (from Australia) and mum to dinner on Thursday. Got a great table view was brilliant and food even better. 3 duck and waffles and the ox cheek doughnut was spectacular and smoked mozzarella salad good too. Duck and waffle never fails to show off good cooking and great views."
    dined on 14/08/2014
  • "Food was great but service was a little haphazard- had to ask 3or 4 times for wine glasses to be refilled. May have been due to a shift change of staff. Great atmosphere though, and fantastic views."
    dined on 14/08/2014
  • "Great dining experience. Interesting range of cocktails available. Food was excellent. Very attentive service which was not suffocating. And incredible views of course."
    dined on 13/08/2014
  • "On my first two visits with bigger groups I loved duck & waffle, the food lived up to the location/views. For my most recent visit I booked on a Wednesday lunchtime with my girlfriend. I found it was rushed experience where we couldn't relax. The food was not upto the same standard, the menu felt tired and the days special was really very average."
    dined on 13/08/2014
  • "Stunning venue and decor not what I had imagined at Duck and Waffle on top of the Heron Tower. Sharing food is not something I am that comfortable with to be honest. Quality of food was top-notch. Service a little slow to be honest. Would book again."
    dined on 13/08/2014
  • "The best things about this place is the view, constantly in awe as the sun went down and was a great talking point. The mozzarella salad, foie gras brulee, pigs ears, and of course the duck and waffle much recommended. Pricy wine list though.."
    dined on 12/08/2014
  • "I came here for my birthday and was not disappointed. The food was outstanding from start to finish, and the views are genuinely staggering. The dish that gives the restaurant its name, the duck and waffle, is interesting but probably not something I'd have again. Order if you appreciate the novelty I suppose; the brilliance of the cooking lies in the other dishes. Service was impeccable."
    dined on 12/08/2014
  • "No request is too much trouble. Lovely atmostphere and attention to detail. Very special restaurant."
    dined on 12/08/2014
  • "The duck and waffle main was amazing, and so was the spanish french toast dessert. Starters were good, but couldn't compare to the main and desserts. Definitely worth a visit"
    dined on 10/08/2014
  • "We absolutely loved the view, the service and all the novelty food available on the menu."

  • "I went to Duck and Waffle with some girlfriends at the weekend, we had a 3pm booking which is classed as the brunch menu - it was superb! We had a lovely table overlooking the beautiful view of London. I ordered the Duck and Waffle which was confit duck leg with a fried duck egg & Belgian waffles with a mustard maple syrup - it was excellent - what a taste sensation, I could eat that over and over again! One of my girlfriends had the smoked salmon and loved it, the other had the scrambled egg w/ salmon and again absolutely loved it. We had a beautiful bottle of Spanish white wine to wash it all down. The service was impeccable - we were really looked after from start to finish! I would highly recommend eating here"
    dined on 09/08/2014
  • "The wine was over priced, but I guess that you are paying for the view."
    dined on 09/08/2014
  • "Stunning 360 degrees view of London. I ordered the Duck & Waffle which was tasty, but the other mains which my friends ordered weren't very good. Still worth a visit for the fantastic views."
    dined on 09/08/2014
  • "Eating duck and waffle in The Duck and Waffle whilst over looking London in all it's glory is truly an experience not to be missed! The food was outstanding, the service second to none, and the views, well they speak for themselves. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely be back - this should be firmly on top of any London to do list! Thank you!"
    dined on 09/08/2014
  • "The one thing you cannot miss is how incredible the view is at Duck and Waffle. We booked a table at 4:30am, to get the best of both a night time and day time view - both of which are incredible! We asked for a "table with a view", and have a great seat next to the window, overlooking the sunrise, and a view over as far as the Olympic Park/Orbit. We ordered the Pig Ears to start - they were served in a brown/branded paper bag, which was a unique idea - although it felt a little like a take-away. There is a limited menu at this time of day, but still very varied, and a great choice. We ordered Duck and Waffle, and the Creme Brulee Fois Gras served with Lobster; this is particular was my favourite. The staff were very friendly and helpful"
    dined on 09/08/2014
  • "Loved it last time we went, however food & service let us down this time. Great views but won't be going again."
    dined on 08/08/2014
  • "The pig ear is awesome! Really recommended for the share food. I love the duck. However, I don't really think that duck and maple syrup waffle is a good combination."
    dined on 08/08/2014
  • "The reason for booking the restaurant was we knew that being situated on the 40th floor of one of London newest high office blocks it would have great views and this it certainly had although really only to three sides as the south side is where the larger dinning rooms are located. The food overall was really well presented and cooked to our requests....My main concern was one of the reviews on site said not good for vegetarian and two of my party were non meat eaters. These concerns were unfounded as three of the small plates and two of the larger were suitable. The Aussie lady we had serve us was very polite and explained the menu clearly and was attentive throughout our time there...."

  • "Everything was fantastic, except the air con was broke and it was soo hot inside. We sat by the window with the sun beaming on me! I couldn't enjoy the evening as much as I would have liked, it was so hot, sticky and uncomfortable. However the staff were great about it all and lowered the blinds for me to stop the shining on me and also offered complimentary sorbet and a glass of champagne. Overall wonderful food and friendly helpful staff but shame about the air con!"

  • "I would recommend the restaurant as the ambiance and view were fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough to help. On my visit there was issues with the air conditioning and, of course, it was the hottest day of the year. This did spoil the experience, however it's unlikely that this will happen again. Prepare to pay a lot. But you will receive quality food and an overall great dining experience"
    dined on 07/08/2014
  • "So no need to dwell on the obvious, but the location and venue is outstanding, from the lift experience to the views on a sunny day. My partner and i went for breakfast which I think is a completely different atmosphere to dinner, much more relaxed and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The food whilst tasting great and what you would expect for the cost was let down by the fact that everything was luke warm, even the coffee. Wouldn't put me off going again though."
    dined on 07/08/2014
  • "Stunning views of London and good food (the bacon wrapped dates were great!) but the experience was sadly ruined by a staff too pushy and a service too rushed."
    dined on 06/08/2014
  • "Amazing quality of food and service with a spectacular view, had the best seat looking over tower bridge and the tower of London"
    dined on 06/08/2014
  • "Place was unreasonably overpriced, especially for drinks. A glass of wine £13??? Food was nice but not to that extent. There are many other much nicer places in London with better food and smaller bills"
    dined on 06/08/2014
  • "Very interesting fusions, and it is fit for a picky palate."

  • "good for special occasion, great food, just didn't like that the whole restaurant stinks of smokes, otherwise all is good."
    dined on 05/08/2014
  • "Have brought me an excellent dining experience, friendly and nice staff, wonderful food, reasonable price and outstanding environment. really worth to have a try for no matter brunch, afternoon tea or dinner in London."

  • "Went for dinner as it was my birthday had a great time along with my guest. The wonderful views over London and the great food would definitely recommend to my friends"

  • "Great views or London and fabulous food. You must try the tuna starter and the signature duck & waffle dish - delicious!!"
    dined on 03/08/2014
  • "I was waiting 5 weeks to visit this place for brunch and in the end it turned out to be just average. I have not been impressed with food and found the duck & waffle dish greasy and heavy. Cocktails were fine but not a great value for money. Service is ok but overall I had a feeling that the £80 bill was just due to the nice view...."

  • "Family meal for my 30th. Really loud music, couldn't hear or talk. 6 different people served us, all very unattentive. Menu is for sharing and dishes come as ready which would've been fine but most came at once then there was an hour wait for the last thing, their signature dish of duck & waffle, which we didn't want by that point. Dirty plates were left on table for ages after. Pushy about us ordering more wine - I asked for a moment to consider, then all of a sudden they were serving another (v. expensive) bottle. This was the only time there was any swift service all night! As we left we stood to the side to quickly look at the view from the bar area. Rudely told to "move out of the way". Food was good, but everything else ruined it."
