Fantastic ribs served in American portions. A portion of chilli chips was, with everything else we'd ordered, enough for all four of us. Their own beer is a reason in itself to visit this place and the Smog Rocket Smoked Porter & Gamma Ray American Pale Ale were as good as their names suggested! It was atmospheric and the staff were friendly and helpful without getting in the way. The hour and a half we were allocated for our table went by very quickly but we were able to linger by the bar and at tables outside.

Booked here for hubby's birthday and they did not disappoint! Waited a while for drinks but it was busy so browsed the list a little more. Amazing little tasting of beers & ales from the waitress who was lovely the whole night. If you like your ribs to fall off the bone, stick with the pork as the (humongous) beef were a little dry - but still nice. Chilli cheese fries and wings were delish too! All round great night.

We had a booking for two on a Friday night at 9pm. Atmosphere was lively but wasn't too loud, just people having a great time. We chose two pork ribs and one beef rib with mac and cheese and chilli fries on the side. This was too much for the two of us (despite being pretty good eaters), but I wouldn't have wanted to have missed out on any of the dishes - they were all delicious. The beef rib in particular is something I will definitely be going back for. Complementing this was a four page list of beers! Choosing would have been difficult but the waiting staff were able to describe the beers and made good recommendations. All round very impressed and will definitely be going back soon.

Then the brew and que pretty much hits the spot. It's hard to get that authentic American BBQ taste in London.... but this is as good as it gets, and combined with a good selection of real ales, including the lighter, hoppier stuff that I like, makes for a great combination... recommended.

I hadn't been to Duke's since last year some time, but had been a few times when it first opened. I remebered the food being a bit better, it wasn't bad at all, but was just a bit average. We were sat straight away and things arrived on time but the waitress didn't make much of an effort otherwise - she visibly rolled her eyes a couple of times at simple requests (for mayonaise/the bill etc). Me and my friend kind of thought it was funny, but if I'd been in a different mood it probably would have annoyed me more. Basically everything was fine, just not great, but it looks like Duke's are still doing really well anyway, so I guess they don't need to try harder.

went with my b/f and wow the beef ribs were outstanding. we shared the beef and pork ribs. Pork ribs were v fatty so was not v impressed with that considering this is supposed to be one of their signature dishes but wow the beef rib was delicious. B/F polished this off and looked like he was going to cry from his version of food heaven i think the only down side apart from the pork ribs is that at £21 the beef rib is a tad pricey but i do think its nice to share the beef rib but be nicer if the rib was smaller and you had two pieces so you can share as it was pretty difficult to share fairly the fries were also very nice if i was to go back which i am i am having my own ribs

Came for my boyfriends birthday as he loves ribs and chicken wings and it was better than I hoped. The portions were massive! We both had the dukes greatest hits and it was just incredible. We were so full but ate every last thing because it was too good to waste! He said it was hands down the best ribs he'd wver had and made his birthday amazing. Will definitely come again!

The menu is limited - in a good way (makes choosing simpler) - but everything on it is brilliant. If you haven't been before you have to have the platter (beef rib, pork ribs, pulled pork). It's enormous but you can take home anything you can't eat in true American style. The beer list is extensive with some really interesting choices that you won't find elsewhere (great APA, for instance) and the vibe is great. A brilliant place to meet up with friends (although the table turn is 1.5 hours so you'll need a plan for before/after your meal).

Hunted down Duke's after discovering their beer: Smog Rocket, and thought It needed to be checked out. Well, first time in, and it did not disappoint at all. The great American Bar-B-Que is every bit as good as thedark, thick and tasty Beauvoir Town beer. And the beef rib was truly is an eye opener. And the service was spot on. Now I'm counting the days to my next visit.

Great vibe - relaxed atmosphere. The food was great - try the smoked ribs ! Excellent. Service was poor though - put it down to the waiter just having an off day. Bit on the pricey side though for what you get. And puddings and desserts at £ 6.25 in a pub ? Really ? !

Took an American friend here to show off how well me can do ribs, have been a few times and the beef ribs (were) the best id ever had. However, this time was so disappointing, over cooked, dry and not as large as previously. I think it's become too successful for its own good. Also the service, got 2 drinks orders wrong for a sour and a beer on 2 separate occasions. I asked for the bill 3 times and it didn't come then the waitress told me I only had 10 minutes before the next booking so I asked for the 4th time... Incredible. Also I was reminded on the phone before I arrived that I had to leave before 8pm which want necessary, I already knew this from the booking form. Stressful and crowded, such a shame, will have to find a new rib joint

Ribs were outstanding!!! Overall some of the best ribs I have had outside of the US! Beef ribs were especially good, the décor is a fun rustic chic and there is a great selection of interesting beers. Perhaps the sides could use a little sprucing up as the choices were a bit limited.

I've always felt that Duke's doesn't quite live up to its hype but that's probably because as a non-pork eater my options on the menu are quite limited! I can't eat the ribs they are most famous for! Staff here are friendly enough, not quite too cool to care which is often the case in this area but not exactly falling over themselves to help you either. We had chicken wings with a nuclear sauce - the top level of sauce. These were delicious with just the right kick if you are into spice - (don't be scared off by the name!) and a big beef rib to share with a portion of fries each. The was cooked well but I wasn't a massive fan of either of the sauces given. In short the food was decent but not really worth the price tag in my opinion.

I was so looking forward to dinner here as I had researched the restaurant and the reviews looked promising. I booked a table for Friday evening. The service was very very good but the food (I had the Pork Ribs and my partner had the pulled pork bun) was disappointing. The flavour just wasn't there at all. The ribs were very very fatty and I felt sick the rest of the evening. I absolutely love ribs and American grill food so I am used to eating ribs with some fat on them but this was just too much. I had pools of fat on my plate the the glaze on the ribs was burned and tasted bitter. The pulled pork just lacked any flavour which was really disappointing. As mentioned the service and atmosphere was really very good.

My boyfriend and I had a fab time at Duke's Brew & Que - I highly recommend the Saint Bee cocktail, and my boyfriend was v. impressed by the range of beers on offer. The food was delicious as well, especially the pulled pork, steak and macaroni cheese. My one criticism would be that our table was right by two open doors (in fact, one door was missing) so meant that we were a little bit cold as the evening wore on.
