Directly located on the South Bank of the Thames, this stunning location is hard to beat in the capital. With views framed by Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and, in contrast, the elegant modern architecture of More London.

With this in mind, Gaucho Tower Bridge will make the ideal restaurant setting for a post City drink, client dinner or a relaxing Sunday brunch.

The restaurant and lounge are open 7 days a week from midday to midnight.

Gaucho's is the best chain in London in my opinion. I'm a regular in a few other branches, but this was my first time at Tower Bridge and I was as impressed as ever. The view of the bridge from the top floor while eating is amazing.

A real trendy restaurant, perfect to impress. Sit upstairs if you can for fantastic view of tower bridge. Steak was fantastic and the service very good (perhaps a little slow). Was a little bit dark as the restaurant is mainly candlelit, as a result would not recommend to people with poor site! Food was expensive but Definately worth it!

Had a great meal at Gauchos this weekend. Steaks were lovely. Had a view of Tower Bridge as requested. As it was our anniversary they gave us a free sharing dessert which was a lovely touch.

The food was delicious and the view was out of this world! We went for my boyfriends birthday and on arrival the staff wished him a happy birthday then later put a candle on his dessert! They also gave us 2 free cocktails after our dinner - really lovely touch! The service was amazing when we arrived, however we were quickly forgotten about and after the main was cleared away we struggled to get any attention from the waiting staff... however this didn't really spoil the evening as we were sat overlooking a spectacular view and it was nice not to be rushed out the door, we were there a good 3 hours! An excellent night and the food was the best we've ever had.

promised a lot did not deliver.Started with lighting we are 60 however I have never struggled to read a menu in other more famous establishments. We were redudec to turning on our mobile phone torch app to read.Ordered starter 7.30 pm had run out of crab changed (starter minute) Wine prices ridiculous nothing below £45.We asked for tap water later discover on bill 4.50 per bottle (reckon this was tap water poured in bottle as not opened at table (sly)Steak was very good tender chips were appalling not what you would expect from this type of place.Looking forward to this meal spoilt by sharp practice and poor attention to detail

We flew in to London as two couples, one celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary and one a 50th birthday. I had just updated the booking to advise of both. When we arrived we were made to feel incredibly special and had the best table in the house. This really made the meal special and I will certainly be using Gaucho again and recommending to friends.

Went for anniversary and asked for a romantic table. Was put in the corner near the front glass door where every single person walking by peered onto our table. Not romantic. Wife ordered fillet without specifying which and was brought the most expensive one (300g) without being asked which is a little flaky in my book. Asked for fillet medium rare and it was nearer to "black and blue". Meat was gray and not very appetizing. Ambiance was weak with cow skin chairs and decor bordering on disturbing. Ribeye was very good. Bill was £100 for two modest steaks (£25, £35), two sides (£10 each), two drinks (£10 each). Will not go again.

We have been here a few times now. Yes, Gauchos are somewhat pricey. However the steaks are absolutely delicious and always cooked to perfection. The staff are extremely knowledgable and well trained. Service is very efficient attentive, yet leave you in peace should you desire and you are not rushed once you have your table. We had cocktails & Champagne as we were celebrating my birthday. It's a little too dark for my liking inside his restaurant but its great if you are younger I guess. Lovely setting by tower bridge, especially as the light lessens. Always a great dining experience here and we shall come again.

My father, sister and I celebrated my father's 50th birthday at Gaucho Tower Bridge in August. The views were absolutely spectacular which certainly made this a special occasion. The staff were very friendly and offered a supreme service, adding extra touches to my father's dessert in wishing him a happy birthday. Upon request, we were seated next to the window which really made the evening, looking out over the river and Tower Bridge. The food was delicious, although the sides are rather expensive. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. A great evening!

I had specifically asked for a window seat upstairs but we were downstairs and not anywhere near the window. I love this restaurant and we've usually found the service to be excellent with attentive charismatic waiting staff. On this visit, the waiter was surly, we were left sitting for 25 minutes without being offered pre-meal drinks and the service was extremely slow and several of the meals were only lukewarm.

The food was excellent! But.. We were a party of 4 sat at a table that was not big enough to accommodate us. The table had a pedestal in the middle and the chairs were solid at the bottom. Nowhere to comfortably put your legs. The mains arrived before the starters had been cleared so there was a scramble to sort that. My husband and I had chateaubriand but because of the inadequate size of the table there wasn't room for the board to be put down. In the end my husband suggested the waiter just hold the board whilst we serve the steak directly onto our plates. To make room for the vegetables the wine ended up on the floor beside my chair! Given that the bill was just under £400 for the 4 of us we expected better of everything!

Delicious food, great service and splendid location overlooking the Thames and Tower Bridge! I had the 300g fillet lomo and my wife the sirloin. Both expertly cooked and delicious. The sweet potato chips with chorizo are highly recommended. Shame that the spinach side is no longer available. Teamed with a delicious Argentinian Malbec - great help from our waitress who recommended 3 varieties ranging from a medium to a heavy full bodied. We preferred the full bodied which we selected and it was a perfect match to the steak. Highly recommended - the best gaucho we've visited in London.

I took 4 to a birthday lunch and got the best greeting as we entered, the table was perfect with a great view of Tower Bridge. The food was terrific and everyone's steak was cooked to perfection. I queried the bill as a bunch of flowers had not been included and told they were free as was a glass of desert wine for the birthday girl and a birthday written plate. The whole experience was superb and highly recommend.

Considering the reputation of this restaurant [we have used this chain successfully in the past] we found the service patchy, food poor with the vegetables cold, and a 20 minute wait for a sub standard sweet. The sole aim of the restaurant seemed to revolve around maximum customer throughput with a minimum level of service & quality. With a final bill of over £100 we will not be gracing this restaurant again!

I chose to take my mum here for her birthday as the restaurant looked lovely with good views and a modern look, however we were so disappointed!!!! The quality of food was shocking, we ordered a selection of chorizo for a starter which was a sharing platter. This turned out to be FIVE (not so appatizing) sausages stuck on a board and one tiny roster pepper! Quality was awful!! For main we had the pork, Very disappointed, menu read it came with sweet potato mash when it arrived we got what looked like a whole potato that had been chopped by a 6 year old and stuck on a plate not even mashed! When we complained mum was presented with a trio of desserts no refund no alternative!! Can honestly say extremely disappointed for the money!!

Good food, ambience was nice but lots of staff standing around at a pod/ unit to our right. Table was very small by the time water and wine were poured and they tried to fit on numerous plates for mains/ sides. I felt it had lost it's edge slightly on previous visits - still a huge fan of the food though, it's never a disappointment!!!
