A word from Harwood Arms
The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment.
This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
Making this happen in the kitchen is a team of highly skilled passionate chefs staying true to the Michelin-Starred legacy Stephen Williams left behind.

We loved our dinner at Harwood Arms. The food was delicious with well balanced flavours and textures. The service was relaxed and professional. And very good value for money: dinner for two with 3 glasses of wine for around £80

We've been a few times in last few years and it continues to impress. Original menu, unusual but brilliantly executed and locally sourced food. Family were impressed with the ale as well- local London ale, Sambrook's Wandle. All in all wonderful evening

The food was as amazing as described and the ambience is perfect for a casual meal with friends or a special occassion. The downfall was the service - we waited 30 minutes for pudding and were provided with alcoholic drinks to say sorry even though two people were not drinking. It was also difficult to get the attention of the staff which seeing as the restaurant was busy was easily explained but not what you expect for the price

We dined en famille at the Harwood Arms on a Monday night, an early 6:30 pm booking. The waiter was very nice, but the service was surprisingly slow (I am blaming the kitchen rather than the wait staff) given that the restaurant was empty when we arrived. It soon got very busy though and then it got even slower. The food was delicious - even those skeptical about some of the less appetising sounding things on the menu were soon won over. The wine was a bit overpriced (prices generally have risen along with their reputation). They nearly overbilled us, which was probably an honest mistake, but...that never leaves a good impression on a diner. The food is good though and the staff friendly so it remains a favourite.

For me that I live in Milan, Harwood Arms is a lovely place, relaxing and quiet with good food. It's doesn't seem to be the food of a pub, a traditional one always too heavy. Just a note: the plate of the snails was too hot, silly hot, why?

We visit The Harwood Arms every 2/3 months and it is still the top reference in the gastro pub arena. The basics of the menu subsist although they have known how to introduce new dishes depending on season. The atmosphere and the service complete the pack which still deserves the Michelin Star for another year. A must...

Our second visit to The Harwood Arms. Our first was on a Saturday lunchtime. This time, on a weekday evening, for a special occasion. The restaurant was much busier midweek and having an early booking we knew we'd have to vacate our table after two hours. But nothing was rushed; the service was great; and the food was outstanding. It's quite a journey for us to get to The Harwood Arms but we'll be back.

We had a wonderful dinner until the bill was to be paid for. Upon enquiring from waitress where to tip her she smiled and we gave her cash. After she left we found in small print on menue that was accidentally left that there was a 12.5% surcharge as a tip to staff. We left feeling like we had been in the hall of rogues

Nice place , nice atmosphere, service was only average I don't usually moan on about places but when you charge this much it should be a very good dining experience , we had rib eye for 2 the meat should be star of show , bone marrow gravy was good flavour , Yorkshire pud overdone and filled with off cuts ! Enough meat already just trying too hard ! Sweetbreads and offal are flavour of the month again and gastro pub trying to put everything on one plate , dessert disapointing the doughnut balls with no jam ! Poor

This was excellent food and the service was really good too. I loved the quail 'tea' which was a consumme which was given to me by the waitress and the chef for free as I had it at the Pollen Street Social and I expressed an interest. It was excellent in both places. My main was vension and that was really very good and prepared perfectly. It was odd that there weren't so many customers for it truly is a very good place.

Our first visit to Harwood Arms was on a Friday night. It's a lovely little pub tucked away on a quiet residential road near Fulham Broadway. The food was exceptionally good. For our main we shared a 9 hour braised shoulder of roe deer. The crispy garlic potatoes were also heavenly. Sadly we were too stuffed for dessert. Service was okay but very impersonal and could've been a bit more friendly given how complimentary we were about the food.

We live in the neighbourhood and have been wanting to try this restaurant forever. Service is very attentive, personal and friendly without being OTT. Our party of 4 went for the seabream, middle white pork, and the deer for two - all of which were an absolute success. Our friends are frequent customers and we will definitely be going back. The ambience has that English pub feel, very relaxed and warm and we notice you can even bring your doggie - which for me is a plus. Had I known, I'd have brought my dog too.

I went with my friend for dinner as I had heard that the Harwood Arms was worth a visit and was staying in West Brompton. The restuarant is light and airy with ample space between the tables. The service is good and there is a wide choice of meun. It is not overpriced given the quality of the food. We had the beef platter, 2 people sharing, and it was delicious. Cripsy garlic roast potatoes, succulent beef and beautifully cooked vegetables. The dessertd were tasty and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend the Harwood and would go there again.

Had a decent meal here on a quiet Monday evening - but perhaps not up to the standard I was anticipating. While the provenance of the ingredients could not be faulted I felt the dishes lacked a bit of the finesse and lightness of touch I would expect. For a venue reviewed so highly, I wanted to enjoy this so much more than I did.

Highly recommended for people enjoy good hearty (and gamey) food. Excellent for your foreign friends who wants taste of very best British.

We've been visiting the Harwood for a few years now and we were still really impressed. We love the laid back atmosphere, the friendly but well informed staff- particularly the sommelier who recommended some wonderful wine. The roe deer for two is a classic Harwood dish but it was still slightly different from the last time we ordered it- and was even more delicious. Food is good value compared to other Michelin starred restaurants in town. We were a bit disappointed with our choice of dessert (the donuts with raspberry jam were a bit heavy) but aside from that another outstanding meal!

This Michelin starred pub is well located in a leafy area of Fulham. The clientele and staff sit around the mid-30s and we felt that the welcome was slightly pretentious. We have dined here before but not recently. The menu is interesting and unusual with excellent venison and squid. However the food was like warm and therefore fell short of what we expected. Extensive wine list and summer specials. We felt that they has become too complacent and have lost their edge. Around £100 per head.
