Have been here as a couple, with a work team and with friends and each time the ambience has been great and the food good. Convenient venue for everyone to get to easily. My main gripe on this occasion is that they took ages bringing our desserts and coffees and then hassled us to finish them quickly as they needed the table back. We knew we only had the table for 2 hours as they reminded us on booking, confirmation on the day and on arrival. But if they are the ones being slow it is a bit much to be virtually showing us to the door! A minor point, but they do need to be careful with how many tapas dishes to bring on to the tables at once. Our waiter ended up knocking the lit candle off the table with the result (only discovered when I got home) of candle wax all over my handbag. Having said all that, I would go back, and would recommend it to friends.

Amazing food. Was shocked that it was so reasonably priced for the quality of the tapas and plates on offer! Iberica ham obviously a must and the octopus 'gallega' and potatoes was divine. Massive success.

Lovely food, helpful friendly service, even when full, portions big for 'small dishes' but who cares when it;s as delicious as this? Noisy but when full, this is inevitable. No loud background 'music' thank goodness. Loved it.

Iberica Marylebone is without doubt my favourite Spanish restaurant this side of the Pyrenees. The food is just fantastic - we had patatas bravas, tortilla espanola, squid and the daily special asparagus - absolutely delicious!!! The staff are extremely helpful but not the slightest bit intrusive. This place is just a joy from start to finish and I will definitely be back - try it - I promise you won't regret it!!!

As a Spanish person I have really enjoyed my experience at Iberica. The food was authentic, something that you can rarely find in London's Spanish restaurants, so my partner and me were really happy with the meal. The Spanish waiters were genuinely friendly, so we will definitely come back soon! especially for the "croquetas de jamón ibérico", delicious!

Delicious tapas, very authentic and in quite generous proportions so this is good value. Staff are a little diffident and could be warmer and more attentive. Bringing a class of iced water to the table always involves being poured a warm glass of water from a bottle, then given a glass of ice, which seems odd.

Took a friend for Sunday lunch, I usually go to Iberica Farringdon which is better than Marylebone. It was busy and food not up usual standards. Fried squid portion was so small it was embarrassing. When I spoke to the waitress she shrugged her shoulders! Rest of the food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Disappointing when I wanted to treat a friend.

We chose Iberica as it's close to Great Portland Street Station from where we were going to Wembley Arena. We didn't have a lot of time but the restaurant catered for this perfectly. Lovely food, great atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. A little pricey? Maybe, but it wouldn't stop me going there again.

The first hint of trouble at Iberica Marylebone was the call to confirm on the day of dinner. I was asked to confirm my table "from 7.30-9.30pm". Hmmm, OK I thought. Then when my guests arrived first (booking for 4) they were told they had to give the table back by 9.30pm before they were even shown to it! Bang on 9.30pm, even though we were finishing up wine (having declined dessert) we were moved downstairs with our coats, wine bucket, glasses etc to stand in a cramped, noisy space at the end of the bar next to a big sign saying 'service area'. Staff were obviously very uncomfortable with having to do this. Not a relaxed finish to a dinner catching up with overseas friends. Food very average so not going to bother with this again.

I try to make a trip into London at least once a month for drinks and a Michelin star rated meal. Recently we decided to try something different and as we haven't been to Spain for a while thought tapas would be a good idea. After looking at the options I chose Iberica and what a great choice. Put it this way I have , unusually for me, been in London 4 times in the last 3 weeks and found myself back here each time. The bread alone is superb. All the dishes I have tried are tasty & very good. My 2 stand out favourites are the black ink seafood rice and the Spanish rice pudding. There is a unique vibe to the place and an authentic Spanish feel. There is a good choice of Spanish wines and I have also enjoyed the cocktails. Proper staff too :-)

Where to start? This glass-sided corner site on Gt Portland St simply oozes foody heaven! Understated and quite romantic despite being open and on 2 floors, the bar being the central focus point. Relatively short selection of exquisite dishes! The Belotta ham obviously outstanding, of particular note were the asparagus on truffle toast, the squid ink rice and the lamb. Wine list is excellent and decent value. Overall, not cheap but very, very good. Staff outstanding too!

There is a distinct Andalucian atmosphere to the design of this restaurant. We went with some friends with a great knowledge of Spanish food - our female friend has a Spanish mother. She chose a number of her favourite dishes and commented that some were subtly different from her expectations, but in a positive way - improving on traditional dishes. So the food was outstanding. The service let them down. The waiters had to speak in Spanish to our friend - without her we would have had a communication poblem. Indeed we had to ask for water a number of times - hence the lower grade for service.

We had a lovely evening at Iberica - the selection of tapas, cured meats & cheeses were delicious, the ambiance was great (I was there on a date with my husband), and even though it was quite busy and bustling (with space for bigger groups up the back of the restaurant), it felt intimate too. Lovely cocktails & cava. I'd definitley recommend Iberica to people who appreciate delicate cured meats in a friendly & warm atmosphere.

All dishes here are tapas size dishes - just what I love. I took a friend of mine here for his birthday last Friday night and we really enjoyed it. All of the food we had, with the exception of the dessert which was recommended to us by the waitress, was really good (but this will have been down to personal taste). They have a lovely selection of Spanish hams here and everything tasted very fresh. Also a good and wide selection of Spanish wines, many of which are unique to Iberica. Food and atmosphere was good and my only comment on service was, that while everybody was very friendly, the service was often slow and, perhaps just the location of our table, but we often felt we were struggling to get anybody's attention.

Having eaten in San Sebastian and in Riccis Tapas in Halifax, I would put Iberica in 3rd place. The food is good but doesn't meet the description of the best authentic food that Spain has to offer. The ham was gorgeous, but the suckling pig was not the tastiest, or crispiest, and the escalivada not as good as in Barcelona. Wine overpriced. All the food comes at once which I do not want as it sits there going cold. I also hate the 12.5% optional service charge added to the bill

We returned to Iberica after some time away. The food was good without being outstanding. The service was attentive and efficient. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was buzzy. The mezzanine seating area with low ceilings is quite claustrophobic. We suggest that a table downstairs is requested. It was a good experience but not better than that. The small dishes work well as an alternative to a traditional two or three course meal but they fell short of being special. Perhaps more of a younger persons restaurant?

Mid-afternoon on a Sunday it was a great place to be, good service, plenty of space, good wine and food. My girlfriend and I went with a couple of foodies that love tapas and they were surprised that they'd not been to the place before; and so was I. The only reason I don't visit more regularly is that in London there are so many good places to eat but Iberica is amongst them and I shall become a more frequent diner there. A thouroughly enjoyable afternoon.

(the manager did come and apologise which i appreciated but that was it) It was my birthday & we had a table of 5 women, i saw another table of 5 business men & I saw how much more attention they were getting because they were spending more money - this upset me - i often enough come to iberica for work functions (and always because of my recos) and this is very short sighted just because i wasn't spending big bucks this time doesn't mean i won't be coming back
