Diner Reviews
  • "We ordered the half-and-half plate of cheese and meats, and then four tapas dishes and this satisfied the two of us. The twice-cooked lamb was excellent, as were the ham croquettes (we ordered the small portion), while the roasted aubergine and peppers was not as tasty as we expected. They served a nice plate of baguette with olive oil to dip in, and this was a very helpful way of getting through all the meat and cheese! Although busy, we didn't feel pushed out the door, and service was quite relaxed but prompt. The Rioja Crianza was a great companion to this food selection. I'd go back, have some of our newly discovered favourites and do some more exploring."

  • "I've eaten at Iberica on a number of occasions in the past - I love the ambience and have usually found both the service and the food to be very good. On this occasion I was very disappointed about both. The service was really poor and on several occasions I had to get up to remind the waiters to bring what we had ordered. When the food arrived, it really was not up to the usual standard. All very disappointing!"

  • "Ate here at weekend. Food was great. Had selection of tapas. Recommend pardon peppers and ham croquettes. We tried to order cocktails but waiter had no knowledge of the bar or what was on the menu, which resulted in the wrong drinks being delivered 3 times. Also had to remind staff we were missing a dish. Nice staff, but know the menu if you're offering cocktails!"

  • "I go to Iberica very often and never disappoint me. Best Spanish tapas in London, friendly staff and nice ambience."

  • "The sea trout tapa is simply exquisite. All of the tapas we tried were gorgeous. Definitely a place to return to!"

  • "lovely setting, really well decorated, delicious food, can't fault it. very nice staff. potentially a tad on the pricey side for tapas, but then again food was perfect so maybe the price is right!"

  • "Big disappointment from this nicely designed Tapas bar. We were 4P on a Wednesday night, after moving tables, as our first one was near the toilets, we asked for wine recommendations, the options we got were both bad... we ordered a bottle of the 3rd reco. which was not more than okish. Food wise 2 or 3 dishes from the not very big menu were sold out, even a classic Spanish potato dish had 2 left for the night. We ordered about 10 different tapas, not even 1 was great! most of them were ok, and 2 - the trout and the black ink rice were terrible. The serice was all over the place, it's nice to have Spanish waiters in a tapas bar but they should understand English...overall one of the worst food experiences in london. Will not come back"

  • "Iberica has really nice Gin & Tonic list, wide choice of food, really good service, but a bit expensive, considering this are Spanish Tapas. Definitely to try if you like Spanish food, just bare in mind it has London prices"

  • "The food and service were amazing! And the final bill didn't come even close to busting the bank"

  • "We first saw Iberica featured on Masterchef and was subsequently recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed. We had a wonderful evening. The food and the bar staff were great. We will definitely be coming back."

  • "Good food, not cheap though. Weirdly low chair as well, whereas my fellow diner was on a normal one, so I sank down and felt a bit uncomfortable"

  • "I love this place and have been many times. Great meats and tapas."

  • "Food was tasty and nice twist on other tapas places. Staff friendly and very helpful. Great venue."
    dined on 29/07/2014
  • "Simply great food, well prepared. Creative without being fussy, Authentic without being slavishly tied to what has gone before. Service polite efficient and knowledgeable. Wine list a bit on the expensive side but some wines here you will ONLY find in Spain. Ask the waiter for some help to find one you did not try before. They are so well selected you will not be disappointed."

  • ""I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.""

  • "Seems to be authentic tapas type food. But remember it is tapas and when you look at the bill you might be a bit surprised at the high cost. Cocktails, drinks and wine list is very good indeed. Very friendly and efficient service that was only let down by having to be reminded to bring the ordered coffee. despite my reference to the price , it was a good and enjoyable evening out. On the pudding front the Spanish rice pudding is just divine."
    dined on 22/07/2014
  • "Four of us ate here a few days ago for the first time. Very friendly service and nice ambience. I felt that the portions of food were very small and quite expensive for what they were, but maybe I'm out of touch with London restaurant prices."
    dined on 21/07/2014
  • "Iberica serves delicious tapas and sharing plates. The food was fresh and well presented. The tapas sizes were very small and a little expensive. Good wine list and atmosphere."
    dined on 21/07/2014
  • "This restaurant never disappoint me with their food; always great!! So I have proudly recommended it to lots of my friends and many do agreed after their visits ! BUT... their table policy are not slightly relax at all; once the 2hrs slot booking is up; the waiter can't wait to get rid of us with constant reminder even though the restaurant were pretty quiet that evening. We were having such a wonderful evening;and they just killed the spirit!!!"
    dined on 19/07/2014
  • "Lovely atmosphere and the ability to order and graze on tapas meant this was a very productive business meeting / meal. Service unobtrusive and attentive. Very enjoyable. Gluten free options identified which was very helpful"
    dined on 16/07/2014
  • "We love tapas and this was something special. The waiter was so friendly and gave great recommendations from the menu. We had a mix of well known and more unique dishes which were so tasty (some of the best tapas I've ever had). Great wine and loved the buzzy atmosphere (even on a Monday night). Not cheap but felt like great value all things considered. Will definitely be back again or maybe try an Iberica somewhere else in London."
    dined on 14/07/2014
  • "We really enjoyed having Sunday lunch at Iberica. A truly Spanish restaurant but with a modern touch, well adapted to British taste. All waiters and waitresses are Spanish and the service is really good. I would only say it is a bit expensive… £9 for a small portion of Jamon… the bill gets quickly to £100 for 2 people if including wine. Other than that, lovely meal and lovely restaurant!"
    dined on 13/07/2014
  • "Popped in for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. Staff were welcoming, chatty and friendly. Sangria was briliiant and a strong accompaniment to the ham boards. Croquettes were delicious."
    dined on 11/07/2014
  • "Had to wait a little while for our table even though we arrived early, once seated service was good, food came up as it was ready, all the usual Tapas Staples were there along with a couple of new things."
    dined on 08/07/2014
  • "Took my parents to try something new and we had an excellent time. The staff were all exceptional and the food is good with reasonable portions for tapas. The Iberica hams are unsurprisingly a definite highlight with the wine list offering some great choices. Little touches like the red we ordered arriving at an excellent, warm temperature and the free bread with the meal set Iberica apart in my mind as something special."
    dined on 05/07/2014
  • "Tapas were enjoyable but service was very slow. The dichotomy of Iberica Marylebone is that upon arrival you are told that you have a table for a certain period of time (in our case 2 hours) but then the service is very slow. You spend the majority of your time waiting and then uppon ford (or wine) arrival rushing through your meal due to your time limit. You really have to have both service and the time limit working together to be an enjoyable experience. In our case it wasn't; service was very slow and then we were told that we had to depart because we had exceeded the pre-set time limit. My suggestion, go when it's not crowded but never when it is."
    dined on 05/07/2014
  • "Lacked a bit of atmosphere. Really quick service and had a waitress that was very eager to take everything away from our table even before we had finished everything! Felt a bit rushed and the food was ok. Expected a bit more.."
    dined on 05/07/2014
  • "It was our first Spanish restaurant in London (we are Spanish) and we have to admit that it was really good, even better than some restaurants in Spain. Staff was very friendly, food was amazing. I highly recommend it for people that love spanish food."
    dined on 04/07/2014
  • "Outstanding. We eat out frequently and this was our second visit to Iberica in Great Portland St. It was my wife's birthday and her request easily booked through open table. Service was efficient and competent without being obvious. The food was remarkable with every dish offering high quality ingredients presented in stages rather than arriving en masse. We chose gazpacho of beetroot and anchovy which was perfectly chilled and smooth with balanced flavours, a simple mix of Spanish cheese and Jambon, Ham and Cheese Croquettes, Twice Cooked Lamb, Asparagus and Manchego on Toast and Black Rice with Cuttlefish Prawn and Alioli. Memorable for lots of reasons Including the way the staff handled my brief note that it was a birthday booking."

  • "I love Iberica and once again it did not disappoint. Delicious little dishes, perfect for sharing. Good, friendly and helpful service. Not cheap but good value for money. I highly recommend it. Everything was tasty and nicely paced. The highlights were the Asparagus, Manchego and Onion Confit toast; the Octopus a la gallea and the Iberica burger with secreto pork."

  • "The food was over priced and average. Nothing special."

  • "This place is famed for its jamon, which is fantastic. But tapas here is great too!"
    dined on 29/06/2014
  • "A little bit of Spain in Central London ! Great food for sharing (Tapas) , along with excellent service and a cool vibe make for a excellent eatery anytime of the day or night. Booking is essential and the main restaurant is better than the mezzanine. Bar seating is also available and allows you to really get into the spirit of the place. The Ham's cut to order along with tomato bread are delicious , as are the majority of the salads. Some of the fried dishes are too heavy with batter being thick and claggy rather than light and crisp (improvement is clearly needed here ! Deserts are typically Spanish and perhaps best avoided ! Overall good quality and will return"

  • "The food was on the whole good and the lunch time offer makes it reasonable. I would t want to pay full price. The service wasn't great and it was also pretty empty so lacking in ambiance,"
    dined on 27/06/2014
  • "I went there on a business lunch but it would be equally great with friends - great fun to share all the different tapas choices. Service and atmosphere great as well - I would certainly recommend it."
    dined on 26/06/2014
  • "Wonderful experience. Food beautifully prepared. Informal ambiance. Very friendly service. Has a super neighborhood vibe that works well for visitors (like me) from abroad. The jamon starter tasting was alone worth coming. The tapas were excellent."
