Took my other half for our anniversary, and her first reaction was wow! The place couldn't be better, the atmosphere was buzzing and the food and drinks was nice. The price wasn't too bad, although I thought I would spend my entire wage, I was happy overall. I would like to point out the view is stunning from the roof top and you can sit and eat as well as lounge outside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, whatever the occasion you are sure to enjoy your time here. I was overly impressed with the service we received, it was probably once of the best service I have ever received, and the staff were really friendly and caring.

Excellent location for this restaurant. Great outside space with brilliant views of St Pauls and the rest of London. The staff were very nice and we had good service. The atmosphere was buzzing but the food wasn't as good as I was hoping but it was enjoyable. I'd say if you haven't been yet go. Will go back in the summer.

What a fantasic night celebrating my daughters 21st, she was made to feel very special, in fact we all were. Food wonderful, cocktails went down a treaat and the service could not have been better, Thank you Leo. A honest mistake on the bill was refunded immediately, I would point out we hadn't noticed Madison's identified it whilst we were paying. Appreciated the honesty.

The service was odd and non attentive. The staff did not seem to be trained nor had they attended any school of charm. Whilst our order was being taken she was also holding a conversation with her colleague and looking at her rather than paying any attention to us. When the wrong tea was brought there was no apology and neither was there any effort to rectify the mistake. In true Brit style we did not complain and even paid the service charge! Perhaps with that fantastic view the restaurant does not feel they have to make an effort.

Yes, it's noisy..., yes, it's busy..., but omiword it's worth it for the service, the food (my steak was simply stunning and I am a real steak fanatic!) and the view is to die for! You get a real mix of people - younger and older, hip and trendy, preppy, business etc and the dj spins a great diversity of tunes so something will come on to get you to shake what your mamma gave you lol! The cocktails are deeeeelish and I highly recommend the Madam Marmalade cocktail.

The place is trendy cool and very busy on a Friday night. It's very noisy in the restuarant with a live DJ playing which makes it difficult to have a decent conversation. The food is average for the price. The service was very attentive however... Almost too attentive and we did have to complain we were being rushed, for which an apology was made and we were left alone after that. Not one of the better D & D establishments if you after good food, but if you want a Friday night out drinking, with amazing views, and good music it's worth a visit.

I visited on a busy Saturday night with a group of 4. I ordered sea bass which at first glance looked good but when I started eating it it was clear that it wasn't cooked in the middle. The waiter apologised took my plate away and said he would bring another. The second Sea bass arrived about 5 minutes later and again was not cooked. The waiter then suggested I try another dish which I did but by the time it arrived the other diners in my group had finished. I didn't make a fuss as I didn't want to spoil my evening out with friends but I was very disappointed to find I had been charged the full price for the meal, it was only after having a quiet word with the waiter that it was agreed I would not be charge for my main course.

We went to Madison on recommendation that it was perfect for a Friday night out and went for dinner/drinks. Whilst the setting is great, the music was awful and very loud. The eating area was hot with no air con. The bread was burnt and had to be sent back and the chicken undercooked. The tuna was tough and salty. Whist the staff are super friendly, the chef is not great. The milk for the Americano's was cold and not steamed and we were served white sugar for coffees. Our bottled water was topped up with tap water in our glasses which was awful. There are 3 wc's to serve the entire restaurant and the wc's at the other side of the bar area are filled with city types 'up to no good'. I was pretty shocked! I wont be dining there in a hurry.

Madison held much potential. The venues position and promises of city views were a definite draw. Our reception was warm from the three or four hosts in pink dresses. We were shown to our table, which was sadly not near a window. The table was also unstable. We moved. Service lacked warmth and personality. Everything we asked for seemed to be a chore and a slight annoyance to the waitresses. The food was disappointing. Poorly cooked chicken and rather bland macaroni were our choices and did not live up to expectation. In fact the while place did not live up to expectation. I would describe Madison as having plenty of front but no depth. We were disappointed.

The cheese macaroni tasting as the pre cook food at tesco, it was the more disgustive plate of pasta I ever had in my life. We didn't like any of the plates no one came toast us how was the food

Had a lovely meal in Madison. Has a great vibe- the music is loud so do not go there if you like to eat in quiet! But I thought that added to it, it's not often you sit in a restaurant with fab music blaring! Typical London prices, it was not extortionate. They didn't have our table ready when we arrived, we had to wait 20mins, but we sat outside an soaked up the atmosphere so not a problem...they brought us all a glass of prosecco to apologise for the delay, thigh I thought was a nice touch, not many places would do that! I also got a big birthday plate brought out. Overall had a lovely time. Shame it's not open later though, as by the time we were finished, it was closing 👎 but would definitely recommend, and will definitely go back.

I chose Madison's to treat my boyfriend for his birthday, it was our first time going there so we didn't know what to expect. A lift takes you up to the 6th floor where the restaurant/bar is located and the view from the top of the city and St. Paul's cathedral in particular are enchantingly beautiful and a great back drop for photos (or selfies ;)) Our waiter was so attentive and even sung happy birthday to my bf when he bought out the dessert. As I'm a vegetarian, the choice wasn't great however I did enjoy my food. The ambience was brilliant, we went on a Saturday night so it was buzzing with other diners and great music. I would defo recommend to everyone!

Had been here before for drinks so knew it was fairly lively. Decided to eat this time with group of 6 for birthday celebration and catch up. Unfortunately it was so loud we could not even hear ourselves speaking and ended up shouting at each other all night. Menu limited and pricey for what it was. Best option was Sea bass which was nice. I would say forget the food and stick to drinks and enjoy the surroundings, stunning views if St Pauls. Also would have been great with a range of music rather than the same beat for 4 hours straight.

This is a place I have been to before on a number of occasions for business meals. I booked for a Friday night dinner for my daughter's birthday. They called me the day before to check if I had any special needs or requests and if it was a special occasion, offering to help if needed. On the night we were made very welcomed and they made my daughter feel really special. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was lively and loud (just right for a young lady). The views and location were stunning and the food excellent. The price was no more than one would expect to pay at a central London restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone (except perhaps those with children for the evening)

I took my boyfriend to Madison for his birthday and it definitely delivers as somewhere special. The food was not over priced and it was an exceptional standard. We spent about £200 but that included 3 courses each (with steak and lobster!) A bottle of champagne and a few cocktails so all in all not bad at all. However it was let down by our drinks taking so long to be served to us. We wanted a cocktail with our starters but it didn't arrive as the bar was so busy on a Friday night. People eating should get priority as we will be paying more money over the course of the evening. Plus waiting 20 minutes for a cocktail isn't really on! But it didn't spoil the evening just means you should order drinks as soon as you walk in!

Our visit last weekend was incredibly disappointing, especially given I'd suggested Madison to friends for a lovely Saturday lunch and ended up feeling very embarrassed. It's such a shame because the location is beautiful with lovely views of St Paul's and the food is really good. However, we had some of the worst service I have ever come across. We arrived early and waited in the bar for our table. The bar waiter refused to let the restaurant know where we were sitting saying "It's not my job". Later, when we called over a waitress, she waved her hand at us and started arguing with 2 other waiters in front of us over whose section we were in. She then told us we're not her section and stormed off. So disappointing and such a shame.

The chairs are very uncomfortable, the view is not visible from the seating area. Nice ambience. Waiting staff not properly trained, messy, clumsy, indiscreet and amateur. Food was not bad but simple attention to the balance of dishes needed eg. 25 black olive in a small Greek octopus salad with only 10 small pieces of cucumber or serving chicken goujons with a yoghurt dip when what they were crying out for was lime and chilli. I would only go again for a drink and the view.

We spent over two hours at the table which was far too long. Although the atmosphere was quite nice very lively and busy. Food was average but very disappointed to be told their sea bass had just ran out. Didn't leave me with watch options as I was really looking forward to it. I also requested that a special message would be written on the dessert saying congratulations however nothing was done. So very disappointed in their service. I made a booking for a Thurs night as my parents were in town. I had been to Madison but only for drinks on the outdoor terrace so I knew the view would be amazing and great for out of town guests. What I didn't expect was that the restaurant would be more like a club atmosphere with a DJ and music so loud you couldn't hear what the person across the table was saying. It was packed with people dancing throughout. This wouldn't have been bad except I imagined a nice dinner with a lovely view. We also were put in the corner table next to the kitchen and didn't see much of the cathedral. If you're looking for more of a party scene then go here. If not, I'd recommend just going up for a drink or just take the lift up for the view.
