The restaurant itself was nice, apart from the filthy toilets. I don't think the sinks had been cleaned in weeks. Service was ok. The waiting staff didn't know the menu which was surprising and looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for a dressing for my side salad and was promptly given a bowl of olive oil?!? We had the same starters and one had double the cheese than the other. The steak was tough, the triple cooked chips were hard on the inside. I could go on but it was really just below average. Had better dinners at roux and gouchos for steaks. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing, the service outstanding. Open Table mixed up our booking but the waiters and maitre de seated us straight away regardless. Because the mix up resulted in us being given a menu we hadn't opted for the maître de only charged us for the cheapest menu, even though we had not mentioned it and enjoyed out meals thoroughly. We will definitely be returning as I am still reminiscing over the tastiest Onion Rings ever and I don't usually order them because so often they are not pleasant. The waiters are professional but also very down to earth (not snooty). Their only fault was that they were too polite and professional to ask the rather loud lady in the corner to lower her voice a little. Made having a quiet chat impossible.

When I ho to Marco Pierre White, I expect great food and am ready to pay for it. A fixed menu with 'saving deals' is not a reason to choose this restaurant. I don't expect/want to have a fixed menu with saving deals atrached. I would prefer an a la carte choise and am ready to pay for it. I have been to other Marco Pierre White restaurants where one can choose from a menu without 'daving deals' which are not suitable for this class of restaurants IMHO.

I took my husband to Marco Pierre White on Kings Road to celebrate his birthday, and it was with great succes. We ordered 10oz steaks which however was more than we could eat. But the meat was cooked to perfection (we ordered medium rare), and the starters (salmon) were very tasty too.

Fish pie was quite nice. Seasonal green vegetables - quite simply and disappointingly 4 pieces of broccoli. What was scandalous was that this was £4.... what a mark up.

Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by staff at the restaurant immediately. We was nice and professional. Loved the decor, clean and fresh. Staff were very polite. Food was delicious, enjoyed the rump and the sticky toffee pudding. It was a lovely and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

Steaks were excellent and good value with the toptable deal but you would never in your right mind pay the full price. Even at the half price (mains only) the total bill was not cheap as the wines and other courses are expensive.

Unfortunately the starters took 25 minutes to arrive and the mains 50 minutes. On arrival the childrens sausages were still raw inside.... The manager did apologise and discounted the bill,, but it was still an expensive sunday lunch for what we had... Restaurants do have off days but this could have been handled way way better....

I dined at the Marco Pierre White Kings Road Steakhouse on Sunday 16th February 2014. A warm welcome with a detailed explanation of what was on offer. The 3 course meal for £23 is incredibly good value. I asked for white flesh fish rather than the salmon/prawn fish pie and was pleasantly surprised when a grilled piece of halibut on wilted spinach arrived. Overall an excellent meal I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to my friends

When we got to our table we were handed menus that didn't have a price on them. I realised that we had been given the wrong menu and asked the waiter to double check. He couldn't really understand what we were saying and was confused. It was incredibly embarrassing as the people at the other tables clearly thought we couldn't afford to pay for food in the restaurant! Eventually after more embarrassment he went downstairs and checked with the Manager who came back with the correct menus and explained the offer of 50% off. I most definitely won't be returning as the staff members were pretty clueless and there was no atmosphere in there.

We opted for the 3 course set lunch menu and were happy with the choices (although a little surprised that main course vegetables/accompaniments were £4 extra per dish). The two starters we chose, beetroot and goats cheese salad, and slow roasted pork belly were delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant very comfortable. The wine selection was comprehensive.

Dined here for my son's birthday on Friday evening and took advantage of TT 50% off main course deal which was really good value. Most of us had steaks, and could not really fault at all, food was good and nicely presented. Whilst the staff were attentive and polite, they still managed to get our drinks wrong (not the first time it has happened to us at MPW) and we were over charged for one of the steaks!! Lovely dining experience overall.

We had booked for 1030pm via top table and the booking had not made it through to the restaurant. They had just closed the kitchen when we arrived but the chef said he would reopen it for us. The staff were absolutely amazing and did not rush us even though they were clearly getting ready to go home when we arrived. We had a gorgeous meal and didn't leave until gone 12pm. Wonderful food, gracious staff, highly recommend

Overall my wife and I had a pleasant dining experience. The starters were good and a reasonable portion size. As we were ordering from the main menu, we both had the steak which was not cooked to our specification and left us a bit disappointed. The best feature of the night was the dessert. I had the chocolate brown which was rather moreish and my other half had the vanilla cheesecake.

This is my second visit having previously been for Sunday Lunch and I found it just as good as the first time. Beautiful tasty kipper pate and my companions duck pate were equally good and the mains portion of calves liver was generous and exceptionally flavoursome whilst my game pie was tasty and succulent. Will definitely not be my last visit!

We had high expectations for this place given the Marco Pierre White brand and its chelsea location, but were very disappointed. Every dish was bland and in need of seasoning. We had the set menu, which was okay value but uninspiring. The wine was bad, and I had to ask them to open a new bottle. The chicken came with a so called 'fois gras' sauce which was gloopy and tasteless. Best part of the meal was dessert - a good sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. Don't be fooled by the chef name on the door.

I made the reservation through toptable arrived on time and the restaurant said they didn't have my reservation. Took some clients here on Monday. The restaurant is well located and easy to get to. The interior and decor are cozy and nice. However the service was poor with a tone of arrogence and disinterest. The menu is limited and poor. We were kept waiting for drinks and had to ask twice. The wine came from the worst wine list Ive seen EVER. Starters were very basic and reminded me of a toby cavery. The mains of steak were better. The meat was good and well cooked but massively over priced. Dessert (Cambridge Cream) was the best Ive had but I was kept waitng so long on a glass of port I just left it. My clients were unimpressed and Im surprised MPW is happy to put his name to this. AVOID
