Marco Pierre White Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill is a traditional steakhouse in the heart of Chelsea, serving a mouth-watering range of classic steak cuts, as well as a wide variety of timeless English dishes.

Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, the glamorous interior is always buzzing, as locals, tourists and celebrities enjoy the finest quality steaks, roast meats and fish mainboards in the area.

A mouth-watering menu of steak dishes, using grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef in a range of cuts and sauces, as well as a number of other modern European dishes, appeal to all tastes.

Signature starters include a traditionally dressed, hand-picked Cornish crab, as well as slow roast pork belly. Main course highlights are 10oz ribeye steak with portobello mushroom, beef tomato and sauce bearnaise; and spatchcock chicken, chipolatas and bread sauce.

  • "The restaurant itself was nice, apart from the filthy toilets. I don't think the sinks had been cleaned in weeks. Service was ok. The waiting staff didn't know the menu which was surprising and looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for a dressing for my side salad and was promptly given a bowl of olive oil?!? We had the same starters and one had double the cheese than the other. The steak was tough, the triple cooked chips were hard on the inside. I could go on but it was really just below average. Had better dinners at roux and gouchos for steaks. I would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "When I ho to Marco Pierre White, I expect great food and am ready to pay for it. A fixed menu with 'saving deals' is not a reason to choose this restaurant. I don't expect/want to have a fixed menu with saving deals atrached. I would prefer an a la carte choise and am ready to pay for it. I have been to other Marco Pierre White restaurants where one can choose from a menu without 'daving deals' which are not suitable for this class of restaurants IMHO."

  • "I took my husband to Marco Pierre White on Kings Road to celebrate his birthday, and it was with great succes. We ordered 10oz steaks which however was more than we could eat. But the meat was cooked to perfection (we ordered medium rare), and the starters (salmon) were very tasty too."

The 3 course meal for £23 is incredibly good value. I asked for white flesh fish rather than the salmon/prawn fish pie and was pleasantly surprised when a grilled piece of halibut on wilted spinach arrived. Overall an excellent meal I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to my friends"

  • "When we got to our table we were handed menus that didn't have a price on them. I realised that we had been given the wrong menu and asked the waiter to double check. He couldn't really understand what we were saying and was confused. It was incredibly embarrassing as the people at the other tables clearly thought we couldn't afford to pay for food in the restaurant! Eventually after more embarrassment he went downstairs and checked with the Manager who came back with the correct menus and explained the offer of 50% off. I most definitely won't be returning as the staff members were pretty clueless and there was no atmosphere in there."

The staff were absolutely amazing and did not rush us even though they were clearly getting ready to go home when we arrived. We had a gorgeous meal and didn't leave until gone 12pm.   • "We had high expectations for this place given the Marco Pierre White brand and its chelsea location, but were very disappointed. Every dish was bland and in need of seasoning. We had the set menu, which was okay value but uninspiring. The wine was bad, and I had to ask them to open a new bottle. The chicken came with a so called 'fois gras' sauce which was gloopy and tasteless. Best part of the meal was dessert - a good sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. Don't be fooled by the chef name on the door."

However the service was poor with a tone of arrogence and disinterest. The menu is limited and poor. We were kept waiting for drinks and had to ask twice. The wine came from the worst wine list Ive seen EVER. Starters were very basic and reminded me of a toby cavery. The mains of steak were better. The meat was good and well cooked but massively over priced. Dessert (Cambridge Cream) was the best Ive had but I was kept waitng so long on a glass of port I just left it. My clients were unimpressed and Im surprised MPW is happy to put his name to this. AVOID"
