Steak was as tough as old boots, a hair was found in someone else's food. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here thought it would have been on par with the restarant in financial district but was very very sadly mistaken . If I was you Marco I'd take my name off this one .....

I booked a table at this restaurant for my Mums birthday celebrations post theatre, the food was really good and the servie was great too, they even decorated her dessert plate with and birthday message. The only thing i would say, is that it would be nice if there were a bar to sit at and have a drink if you're early for your table. We were 20 minutes early and were told we could go to another bar to wait, which wasn't really long enough to enjoy a drink. Other than that, very impressed and would go again!

Dinner for 2 cost me just under £180 including the "optional" 12.5% service charge - this is for 3 courses and a couple of drinks each so we didn't over-indulge by any means! Yes - there were some special offers available and this may just make it acceptable, however, in my opinion for the size of the steaks and the quality of the meat there are far better steak restaurants around!

Overall it was nice the service for drinks was very slow, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks and they got it wrong! So wasn't too impressed especially the fact that they had more waiters then cudtomers! Food was amazing indeed but would hesitate to recommend!

We went as a group of 12 and we went for the set menu. The starter I had, beetroot and goats cheese salad, was not very impressive. Pretty plain really. The service was a bit slow sometimes and we were just on a lunch break so ended up being late, but actually they were super friendly and explained things very well. I had the rib eye steak for main and it was cooked to perfection. I would go back just for that. So tender and rare in the middle, and perfectly grilled on the outside. It was heavenly. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding for me and that was delicious too. The ice cream was melting on the warm pudding... Mmmmmm

We went to the Steakhouse and Grill at least partly because they were running a lunchtime deal. Sometimes when you do this, you can feel that the restaurant resents you taking 'only' the deal. But here we were warmly welcomed and both food and service were excellent. Terrific

The food was lovely and you were greeted with a warm smile as you entered. The one thing that lets this restaurant down is the cramped seating and table layout. You are sitting on top of everyone else. The tables are so close together it's hard to leave during the meal. Otherwise an enjoyable restaurant.

The restaurant itself was nice, apart from the filthy toilets. I don't think the sinks had been cleaned in weeks. Service was ok. The waiting staff didn't know the menu which was surprising and looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for a dressing for my side salad and was promptly given a bowl of olive oil?!? We had the same starters and one had double the cheese than the other. The steak was tough, the triple cooked chips were hard on the inside. I could go on but it was really just below average. Had better dinners at roux and gouchos for steaks. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing, the service outstanding. Open Table mixed up our booking but the waiters and maitre de seated us straight away regardless. Because the mix up resulted in us being given a menu we hadn't opted for the maître de only charged us for the cheapest menu, even though we had not mentioned it and enjoyed out meals thoroughly. We will definitely be returning as I am still reminiscing over the tastiest Onion Rings ever and I don't usually order them because so often they are not pleasant. The waiters are professional but also very down to earth (not snooty). Their only fault was that they were too polite and professional to ask the rather loud lady in the corner to lower her voice a little. Made having a quiet chat impossible.

When I ho to Marco Pierre White, I expect great food and am ready to pay for it. A fixed menu with 'saving deals' is not a reason to choose this restaurant. I don't expect/want to have a fixed menu with saving deals atrached. I would prefer an a la carte choise and am ready to pay for it. I have been to other Marco Pierre White restaurants where one can choose from a menu without 'daving deals' which are not suitable for this class of restaurants IMHO.

I took my husband to Marco Pierre White on Kings Road to celebrate his birthday, and it was with great succes. We ordered 10oz steaks which however was more than we could eat. But the meat was cooked to perfection (we ordered medium rare), and the starters (salmon) were very tasty too.

I have been to many steak restaurants and have become quite a fan of a few restaurants that I return to on a weekly basis. When in London I decided to visit Marco Pierre White's steakhouse with my family. The ambience was not what I was expecting, it was quite cramped where we were sat and the food I found not up to the standards of some of my other favourite steakhouses. Under the name Marco Pierre White I had very high expectations, and perhaps that was my mistake.

I dined at the Marco Pierre White Kings Road Steakhouse on Sunday 16th February 2014. A warm welcome with a detailed explanation of what was on offer. The 3 course meal for £23 is incredibly good value. I asked for white flesh fish rather than the salmon/prawn fish pie and was pleasantly surprised when a grilled piece of halibut on wilted spinach arrived. Overall an excellent meal I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to my friends

When we got to our table we were handed menus that didn't have a price on them. I realised that we had been given the wrong menu and asked the waiter to double check. He couldn't really understand what we were saying and was confused. It was incredibly embarrassing as the people at the other tables clearly thought we couldn't afford to pay for food in the restaurant! Eventually after more embarrassment he went downstairs and checked with the Manager who came back with the correct menus and explained the offer of 50% off. I most definitely won't be returning as the staff members were pretty clueless and there was no atmosphere in there.

Dined here for my son's birthday on Friday evening and took advantage of TT 50% off main course deal which was really good value. Most of us had steaks, and could not really fault at all, food was good and nicely presented. Whilst the staff were attentive and polite, they still managed to get our drinks wrong (not the first time it has happened to us at MPW) and we were over charged for one of the steaks!! Lovely dining experience overall.

Overall my wife and I had a pleasant dining experience. The starters were good and a reasonable portion size. As we were ordering from the main menu, we both had the steak which was not cooked to our specification and left us a bit disappointed. The best feature of the night was the dessert. I had the chocolate brown which was rather moreish and my other half had the vanilla cheesecake.

We had high expectations for this place given the Marco Pierre White brand and its chelsea location, but were very disappointed. Every dish was bland and in need of seasoning. We had the set menu, which was okay value but uninspiring. The wine was bad, and I had to ask them to open a new bottle. The chicken came with a so called 'fois gras' sauce which was gloopy and tasteless. Best part of the meal was dessert - a good sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. Don't be fooled by the chef name on the door.
