Although we visited Palm Court regularly during our visits to London, it was quit some time we ate there. It was nice to see that nothing had changed. The ambience was all right, the service was warm and professional. Of course the food reached the same high standards as usual. It was a nice evening, and we will certainly come again.

A very nice Sunday evening meal. The waiters were attentive but not overbearing. There were no pressures to have anything you didn't want and the whole evening was a very relaxing experience. The food and drink was excellent. We came here after considering a much more 'upmarket' (and expensive) alternative and it was a good choice as we were not worrying about the cost.

Myself and my wife recently are here. The food was excellent and the service was excellent too. The waiter was very attentive. Nice atmosphere, it was busy but lively. Some negative points though. They do dim the lights so it's hard to read the menus without using your torch on your iPhones, which I saw many people doing. And I'm disabled and use a walking stick, there are one or two dodgy steps in the restaurant. These were pointed out to me by the staff. And the toilets are down quite a lot of steps, so was difficult getting to the toilet. I can't imagine how you would do this in a wheel chair as no lift. So one to avoid for wheelchair bound people and less able bodied people. But overall a lovely dining experience.

This is a good French Bistro in the heart of Covent Garden. The was very tasty and extremely reasonably priced. The service was very pleasant and efficient. Someone else was having afternoon tea and that also looked lovely. Ideal place to go with the family pre or post theatre. It was a bit hot in the restaurant on the day i went but it was asurprisingly warm October afternoon!

We were running late but a simple call to the restaurant and they were hugely accommodating and kept our table. We had a great evening, the waiters were not intrusive but warm friendly and very accommodating. Food and wine all from the special menu and all good. Its a great deal and I have eaten here several times and will be back for more.

This is an attractive restaurant with a nice atmosphere and I have used it on a number of occasions for business lunches.Previously we had been very happy with the food and the service. I took clients on two recent occaisions and was disappointed on both occasions.Although the food was alright, the service was very slow and I was reduced on a number of occasions to having to wave at staff to gain their attention. Embarrassing. No bread was provided as standard , nor were we asked if we wanted any .As there was a long wait before any food arrived on my first visit , I knew on the second visit to specifically order bread - four of us were at the table and a bread basket arrived with six small pieces of bread. Oh dear.

The Palm Court is very convenient for the West End. We chose the 2 course set menu which contained a reasonably varied selection. All our dishes were well presented but bland. We would have had sweets but there was nothing apart from cheese to suit a diabetic. We were served a glass of kir royale as part of the fixed price menu but would rather have had the cost of it put into the food or a glass of wine. The service was good but we were seated about half way down a fairly narrow part of the room and it was hot and airless. Considering the price and location it was OK.

This was our family's 5th visit to the PCB. It was my partners birthday and we were made to feel very welcome as usual. The ambiance and atmosphere was just right. This Restaurant does not have a massive menu but our teenagers are fussy eaters and they have never failed to enjoy the simple but well cooked and well proportioned dishes. We shared the Chateaubriand and it was spot on as was everything. The waiters are fantastic with the perfect mix of friendliness and excellent service. Food arrives with just the right intervals between courses. It is right in the heart of theatre district so very convenient if you are taking in a show. We will be returning soon thank you for another totally excellent dining experience.

Fresh, quality food - good choices and substantial portion sizes (sometimes set menu portions are smaller!) The roasted salmon fillet on rocket mash was very tasty! Roasted vegetables, however were rather disappointing. Service was very professional. My French Revolution cocktail and house white wine both very drinkable! My only criticism on ambience is that the tables are very close together - not ideal for a romantic evening - but I guess that's a problem in most London restaurants. The Palm Court deserves its high rating on Trip Advisor and I would certainly dine there again.

Booked this restaurant for a last minute lunch with an out of town friend. They provided us with the special £17.95 offer menu without us having to ask, and they were happy to substitute a glass of prosecco for the kir royale which was included in the menu. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere where we could have a good conversation. We both had the same starter from the Open Table menu: cured salmon with beet root, which was excellent. We then had the pork medallions with honey sauce which was much too sweet. Next time I would ask for the sauce on the side. Service was fine, and not intrusive. Would go again.

I went here for an early dinner with friend. The restaurant was quite empty and we were squashed between two other couples who were also not impressed. The food was bad. I had smoked salmon to start which was thick and dry. The chicken casserole consisted of three poussin drum sticks floating in an inch of oil with a few beans and two new potatoes. The cheesecake would have been better if it had have been Aunt Bessie's!! Do not go here if you are trying to impress or want a decent meal.

I went here for the first time with my cousins. I had requested a quieter table and got one right at the back. The restaurant goes back a long way surprisingly. Happy with our table as we didn't have any tables too close to us. It was definitely quieter in the back. The service here was very good. The waiters were friendly and helpful. We had the top table set menu which was good value. Food was fine. Mains not very exciting on the set menu was fine. Desserts were better and were big portions. Nice place to pop in for pre-theatre set menu. Next time I think I would try the a la carte.

attended for Sunday Lunch at 5.30 pm staff greeting was very good as was the waiters, their service was efficient with light hearted fun and banter. The food was hot and plentiful sadly they were out of beef. 3 of us had the half chicken roast it was massive, the only small problem was that the lighting had been dimmed and eating chicken was awkward while sorting meat from bones. Me and the girls went here on Saturday night from the second I entered the service was fantastic. I had the fish soup followed by the sea bass. The soup was fresh and light. I then had the sea bass fillet, sometimes at restaurants I find they give you some pathetic size of fish (I may be ordering fish but I have an appetite which reflects Victoria Beckham's like a stone wall) However, these guys gave me a lovely size that left me full, it was delicious! There was lots of dates around us most getting on soundly, some were acting like strangers on the central line. I would recommend going there for a date because if you are not getting on the restaurant is so buzzy it will fill in those awkward silences... overall it's a great place!

The service staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. The choice is a little bit limited for the two course deal, but there's still something for everyone. There was some confusion with a medium rare and a well done tuna steak being mixed up, but we resolved this ourselves (not a big deal), and over the charges - The "two courses" deal was actually only starter and main, although they were very good about this and allowed some of our party to have main and dessert.

The staff and ambience at this restaurant were both lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our toddler. We have eaten here before and the food has been great value and very tasty. This time however the food was not so good. It was all extremely salty and the battered cod was almost all batter. The mussels were equally skimpy. Perhaps we were unlucky but we were underwhelmed, despite the very friendly service.

The waiter detailed to serve had to be asked 3 times by the manager. A waiter had to be called at every stage of the meal as nobody noticed when we had finished. This was probably because they were more interested u their own discussions and banter including kissing on the neck (they forgot there are mirrors. Considering we were early (17:00h) it is surprising that service was so slow. We just finished two courses and tea by (18:40) The food was mediocre and the butternut squash an carrot soup dreadful and watery. Cloth smears on the table are unattractive. The coffee machine is far too loud.
