  • "Second time eating here and it was amazing! Food very tasty & quick service."

  • "Received a very very good meal ar Rasoi, great service from the staff. The choice of food on the menu is fantastic and caters to all. I love the way they do not have to ask who ordered what hwen the food arrives as they allready know. All the waiters have white gloves on whilst serving the food, very good image."

  • "I bought a Groupon voucher for this restaurant for my husband for his birthday as he loves Indian food. We were delighted with it. The restaurant was fairly quiet ( it was a midday lunchtime) but we couldn't fault anything. The waiter was friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing..certainly not the usual run of the mill Indian food. The chicken tikka was the best we have tasted since we have returned from working abroad for 18 months. We definitely plan to return."

  • "As ever, A stunning setting, Good Service and excellent food. Thanks again"

  • "Having read good reviews of Rasoi, we decided to venture out there on a special occasion in our family. We found the food to be very tasty (a whole league above the usual Indian fare in Swansea in both taste and presentation), the service very friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Part of our family is Asian, so we can be quite unimpressed when eating Indian food outside the home, but we had no complaints whatsoever here (the biryani was particularly excellent). The service is worth mentioning too because British Asians, surprisingly, often don't get very good service in Indian restaurants, but we felt that the staff at Rasoi looked after us just as well as they looked after other diners. We will definitely return."

  • "Excellent. Try it. The menu is fab ! It felt like a real Indian restaurant experience rather than the hurried slop that is usually served in this country."

  • "We have been here since day one. Consistently good. Highly recommended"

  • "Having experienced some depressingly 'plastic' eateries in Swansea I was delight to discover Rasoi. This is not a 'curry house' but fine food in an Indian style, well presented and cooked to perfection. It is comparable to The Cinnamon Club in Westminster."
    dined on 12/06/2014
  • "We had a wonderful lunch with some very good friends and it was awesome! The food, the service and the value were outstanding! The ambience was awesome too! This is the first time that I have been for lunch as we usually have dinner at the Rasoi! I thought the lunch menu was very unique and wonderful value for money. I would recommend the Rasoi as simply the best curry house in Wales, if not in the entire UK!"

  • "Must be the worst Indian over rated rubbish I ever tasted! Waste off money! Waste of time traveling from South Wales! "
    dined on 06/06/2014
  • "Lovely setting, plenty of parking. Large well appointed restaurant with good 'vibe' Food was very good, offering something different to the run of the mill indian restaurants in the area. Especially pleased to have several fish dishes to choose from"

  • "My friend and I don't often get a chance to meet up, but when we do, we prefer to do so over a curry, and we've never had better than at the Rasoi - lovely choice of meals, including some dishes not found in many Indian restaurants. We'll definitely be heading there again. "
    dined on 25/05/2014
  • "8 adults and 3 children 6 and under - enjoyed the food - there is a set lunch too which was enjoyed - even though the restaurant was quiet (we were the first there for 12.pm). There was quite a delay in between courses being served. Luckily it was dry so we could take the children in the play area. May visit again as a couple or smaller group but for a large family with children lunch took too long we did not leave until 3.00 pm. Without the children this would not have been much of a problem. Not a cheap option but good quality food which was very tasty."

  • "Rasoi offers a slightly different menu to your high street restaurant. The food is always really tasty with amazing spices. There is plenty of room at the tables and the service is great. Always go here for a treat."
    dined on 24/05/2014
  • "The quality of the food, taste and flavours were excellent. If you are looking for a very good indian restaurant experience then this is the one for you."
    dined on 21/05/2014
  • "4 of us went there. My food - onion bhaji anf chicken tikka - was really the worst I have had ever in the last 30+ years of eating indian food. My Wife & the other couple with us found their food just ok. At the end of the meal I made my point clear to the staff however no further action was taken. Basicallly I would never return there due to the food."
    dined on 17/05/2014
  • "Very nice food, excellent and efficient service, dessert menu very limited could do with including gateau, apple crumble, eton mess, profiteroles etc, glass of coke cost me £3 which i found excessively expensive, the main meals are good value."
    dined on 15/05/2014
  • "I really love this restaurant as the interior is a lovely mix of modern and Asian traditional, you can see the breads being cooked and there's a real feeling of space, plus the food is usually excellent and has some more interesting British Indian food. On this occasion I ordered a Balti, which did not come in the traditional pan, and to my taste was extremely salty. Being British I ploughed on with my meal, but when the waiter came to ask us how it was I told him the truth. Bless him he offered me another main course. I had a lovely korma and a new bowl of rice at no additional cost and it was of the lovely flavor I was expecting and wiped out the salt. I only wish I'd said something sooner! The Kulfi was also delicious!"
    dined on 14/05/2014
  • "Very good food and very good service. The starter (chicken tikka) was tastefully presented, and the main meal(chicken madras, rice & onion bargee) was everything I would want it to be. The staff were attentive, without being overbearing, and the service was on the whole, very good indeed. I will certainly call again."
    dined on 06/05/2014
  • "Early evening meal with friends. Excellent food well served, Plenty of space around and at the table which always helps. Waiter knew who's meal was who's so that was a nice touch. However, disappointed by hidden extras e.g. 55p for dash of lime etc, etc. Perhaps its expected but I didn't so a reasonable price turned out to be expensive. Should return for the excellent meal but will be forewarned and consider not having the extras e.g. papadoms and chutney."
    dined on 02/05/2014
  • "Another night out with friends at the Rasoi that was great. Fantastic place, food but I wish they could tighten up on the speed of service. I know it gets busy but it's always busy on Friday and Saturday."
    dined on 25/04/2014
  • "Great, friendly staff. Easy booking online. Lovely ambience but some tables a little too close together which is why I gave 4 stars not 5. Very nice, unusual food. Been around 6 times and great meal each time. They also vary the menu, changing every so often but are alwYs happy to take requests and adapt dishes on the menu for that day. You just have to try this place out! I've been there for romantic meals aswell as meals with lots of children and family and found it brilliant! "
    dined on 25/04/2014
  • "Food was really tasty, slightly more expensive than other restaurants we have frequented but not too drastic. Very limited choice for those who like spicy food and we were advised that the menus cannot be altered so a bit disappointing from that angle but would go back there again."
    dined on 23/04/2014
  • "Up to almost the usual standard but on this occasion service a little slow. Portions reasonable and all dishes were tasty."
    dined on 20/04/2014
  • "An enjoyable evening had, 15 in our group could not fault the service, meals all served together, staff very friendly "

  • "We have been to rasoi several times now and have not had a bad meal yet, the atmosphere is excellent and the service is very friendly, I would recommend rasoi to anyone and look forward going back soon"
    dined on 11/04/2014
  • "Excellent food and presentation. Service was a little slow when it came to the bill."
    dined on 11/04/2014
  • "I love the decor and the feel of this restaurant. We were not disappointed with the food although one of our party found the madras much spicier than usual. While the service for food was good it was very slow for drinks with orders at times forgotten. But despite this would go back."
    dined on 04/04/2014
  • "Every time I visit the Rasoi I know that I am going to enjoy my meal! The service and food are always excellent. I would have given my usual five star rating for everything but we had onion bhajis which were not at all up to the standard of the Rasoi! They were very greasy and you couldn't taste the onion! Everything else was absolutely brilliant as usual so I don't know what happened to the onion bhajis!"
    dined on 04/04/2014
  • "My second visit to Rasoi. Very nice restaurant...food delicious and a definite experience. The chap brings the meals with his white gloves....very professional. Will be a regular customer."
    dined on 04/04/2014
  • "We had given up eating out on Mothers Day as it usually led to poor service, cold food and long waits for courses. This visit to the Rasoi put all those problems away we had efficient service our drinks arrived with poppadoms and chutney tray whilst we looked through the fabulous choice on the menu. Our meals came quickly, everyone's meal was as usual superb. I love the naan bread here as it's cooked freshly to order. Highly recommend a visit."
    dined on 30/03/2014
  • "I took my mum here for mothers day cause she loves Indian food. The staff are always floating around to help you with anything. The start of service was really quick, had starters and main in very reasonable time but when asked for extras during meal eg. more mint sauce, we never received it. A bit slow with bringing out the children's ice cream but it was very busy by then. It wasn't that cheap but food was very tasty and every dish had its own flavour. I would definitely go back."
    dined on 30/03/2014
  • "We had a fabulous night out on Saturday evening and although the restaurant was extremely busy the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend the restaurant and will look forward to returning in the near future."
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "I have eaten at the Rasoi on a number of occasions and have enjoyed every one. This past week however we attended twice, once with a guest from London and the second time fora family celebration, the standards are very high and seem to be getting better if anything, food and service is just excellent. I do not hesitate to recommend this superb restaurant"
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "Good atmosphere amid modern furnishings. Food was very good when it arrived. Due to a kitchen problem we had to wait over 90 minutes for our main course, but staff showed little concern. Disappointed with service."
    dined on 22/03/2014
  • "Easy online booking, promptly finalised. Convenient parking which felt safe. Warm welcome and quickly shown to our cosy table.Felt a bit lonely at seven pm on a Monday but In no time, the place filled up to a comfortable number of other diners. Food well presented with spotless tables and cutlery. Perfect combination of great flavours that didn't leave me feeling rough the following morning. I find most Indian meals I have are one at the expense of the other. Service was attentative but unobtrusive. Tables wiped between courses and not just going through the motions. Felt like our custom was valued and all in all amost satisfying evening. Back soon."
    dined on 17/03/2014
  • "I would recommend this restaurant - great food, service and great decor. A hidden Gem. My family and I love Indian food and this is the best restaurant we have found. So much so, I wish I lived in the village. I travel away with work a lot and always try local Indian restaurants – this one gets a 10/10 from me. Beating any other restaurant I have found in locations are varied as Edinburgh, Cardiff, Leeds, Derby, Swindon, Swansea, Reading and London. Others have come close, but not excelling at both food, service, ambience and importantly value."
    dined on 15/03/2014
  • "This place is outstandingly decorated and the ambience is lovely. Great for couple or large bookings as they have capacity. The food IS nice but it had only one vegetarian option for main course! When I asked for something else minus the meet, the waiter said it was not possible as "it came as it was" which made me thinksyne the food isn't cooked to fresh. We had the dessert platter to finish which was the best dessert I have ever had. I would go back just for that. More veggie options please!"

  • "I highly recommend the rasoi to anyone, whether its a special occasion or just meeting up with some friends. The welcome is always excellent, online booking makes things easy, the service throughout the evening with excellent and as for the food, there is a reason why the rasoi wins awards because the food is outstanding, by far my favourite restaurant in South Wales."
