  • "Food and service were very good. It was a beautiful night and we had a fantastic view up down the Clyde"

  • "Outstanding food - well presented and tasted amazing. Staff were very attentive, and the resturant itself is beautiful"

  • "Great Service initially but it all went a bit pear shaped towards the end of the evening. After Michelle left, the other waitress seemed to be annoyed and angry. She was not pleasant. There was only 1 other table left at the end of the evening, so not sure why the service became so bad. Definitely ask for Michelle - she is helpful and charming. "

  • "I booked this for my partners birthday and was a lovely night. Food was amazing, very fast service, waited the right amount of time between meals. Great service from the waiter/waitress. Will definitely be back."

  • "A beautiful meal (choose the honeyed pork) in a fantastic location - watched a classic sunset through 'squinty bridge'!"
    dined on 24/04/2014
  • "I found some of the waitress not so warm (no smiles) with the exception of two. The starter was lovely and also the desert however the main course was very disappointing - turmeric and coriander crusted cannon of lamb. You would expect it to be crispy on top & pink in the middle but it out soggy & overcooked. I'll have to think twice before going here again."

  • "A beautiful setting with relaxed lighting and good service. Downside, the steak was of low standard with few fatty pieces."

  • "the food was great a lot of great tastes and the setting is good with views out to the clyde plus winning 300 pounds in the casino wasn't bad. great night."

  • "the food and staff were all excellent and the views across Glasgow at night also added to ambiance - great service and steak as good as anywhere else in glasgow"

  • "NOT REALLY THIRD TIME LUCKY AT ALL.NOW BEEN 3 TIMES AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED EVERY MEAL. GREAT SERVICE BY ATTENTIVE (BUT NOT INTRUSIVE ) STAFF, EXCELLENT FOOD, AND SUPERB VIEWS OVER THE CLYDE AT NIGHT."

  • "Had dinner in your red leaf glagow restaurant on Saturday night. The food was great but unfortunately the good food was let down by terrible service. Not once where my husband and I asked how our food was and my husbands main course was practically thrown infront of him. The server seemed more concerned in talking to the couple at the next table. We made a drinks order just before our mains arrived but the weren't served to us until we asked twice for them and by the time tehy arrived we had both finished out main course's. I think In this case great food was let down by awful service. A smile and some standard of service would have made a huge difference."

  • "good food good atmosphere suited all ages-staff very helpul"

  • "One of our party only had a starter and a sweet as she had just come out of hospital after a major operation I was disappointed to be charged for the full meal. I felt in the circumstances some allowance should have been made. The menu is very loaded with supplements. With a new price but with more or less the same contents does not show a great deal of inovation"
    dined on 01/02/2014
  • "The food was presented beautifully but some meals were lacking a bit of flavour, the scallops starter for example was stunning to look at but tasted very "blah". The sticky toffee pudding was my highlight but it didn't need the sickly sweet white chocolate cream on the side or the gingersnap basket. 2 scoops of ice cream would've been better. We were dining at 7pm before the restaurant got busy so the service was too fast. We had 5 minutes between courses which wasn't ideal. Then once they got a bit busier it took about 10 minutes to get our bill. I also ordered a drink which never appeared although was on my bill. I would go back though because the venue was excellent and we had a great time in the Long Bar after our meal."

  • "Have been to the Red Leaf on a number of occasions during the week and am impressed with the value. The food is always good and beautifully presented. I have taken visitors and they have loved it, especially a table by the window to enjoy the view."
    dined on 23/01/2014
  • "great location and decore but some of the basics let it down. Ambient lighting would be nice instead of FULL strength bright lights, ruins the mood. Suitable music would be better rather than dance and pop music which was being played on out visit. A full a la carte menu on offer would be better suited rather than the cheap set menu. Having a host or someone at the bar to welcome guests would have made a much better impression rather than staff shouting down the corridor to each other that there were people waiting. On the plus side, beautiful decor (except the horrible red neon nandos sign at a prime window seat that could easily hidden with a frosted tint on lower half of the window) staff very friendly, good cocktails and tasty food."

  • "We, as a couple, really enjoyed our meal here, I did mark down service as on two occasions we were offered other diners food and on one occassion I ask for a glass of wine, which I recieved promptly but my wife wasn't asked if she wanted anything despite her glass being empty. All in all though a lovely evening."
    dined on 04/01/2014
  • "A very well presented four course dinner which was very enjoyable. It was a little unfortunate that the restaurant only had one vegetarian option starter left when there were two vegetarians in our party, but the chef made up another and most delicious vegetarian starter, so the crisis was averted!"
    dined on 31/12/2013
  • "Highly recommended excellent food and service aqnd views to die for."
    dined on 21/12/2013
  • "Everything was perfect; no faults at all! The food, service, atmosphere and glamour of the place was all fantastic - and all for a very reasonable price. Brilliant night out and yet another flawless meal from the ALEA"
    dined on 21/12/2013
  • "My friends and I had a lovely meal on 4th December sitting at a table overlooking the Clyde-as requested We all had the seafood starter and steak. All cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef. The ambience is very classy at such a reasonable cost. My second visit and I have no hesitation recommending it to my friends on their next visit to Glasgow."
    dined on 04/12/2013
  • "Unfortunately, I got a phone call the night before I went advising that they were now in the Festive Menu and my meal would be £35 instead of the expected £20. However, it was nice of the restaurant to call and let me know otherwise I could have been washing the dishes However, despite this, the food was exceptional and although it didn't look as if much was on the plate it was very filling. The steak is definitely the best I have ever had and the setting was beautiful. It was so beautiful that I choose that occasion to propose which thankfully was accepted."
    dined on 29/11/2013
  • "I have been several times before and consider the standard of the food and portion size has dropped. Also the menu has not changed for years.I was disappointed."
    dined on 23/11/2013
  • "great food ,great service very relaxing, what else do you need"
    dined on 09/11/2013
  • "We had the three courses for £20 menu on Sat night and even choosing the options that had a surcharge, it was still fantastic value. It wasn't at the expense of the quality of the food as everything we both had was great. Having eaten out at many much more expensive restaurants in Glasgow, this has got to be one of the most cost effective ways of having great food at a more reasonable price point."
    dined on 09/11/2013
  • "Lovely setting - great views along the Clyde but food was a average - they wouldn't consider a small portion of risotto as a starter for one of our guests because they were too busy (despite the fact that staff were milling around waiting for guests to arrive) - how can you be too busy to spoon out a smaller portion of risotto?? Service was poor, wine list disappointing and they didn't have the one wine we chose. Staff in need of customer care training. A smile would be a good start!"
    dined on 09/11/2013
  • "I've been here quite a few times. The good is great for the price and the restaurant is lovely. However the service is always a little slapdash and something always seems to go wrong. This time one main course and two deserts were incorrect and while these we're replace we didn't get so much as an apology."
    dined on 09/11/2013
  • "We really enjoyed the ambience of the Red Leaf Restaurant, It was very comfortable for our first time ever being there and the service was well-timed and very friendly and helpful. I definitely would return to try more dishes from the Red Leaf Restaurant. The steak was amazing. The table was great and we had a great view of the River Clyde and the Clyde Arc bridge. Very affordable, Very good and an added bonus afterwards we won £200 at the Casino."
    dined on 04/11/2013
  • "I took a friend to the Red Leaf as somewhere different to try for the Wednesday special dining experience. We were not disappointed. The meals were fabulous as usual. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys eating out. The service is generally very good, the staff know when to talk to you and when to leave you alone, although this can be tricky when trying to get the bill! The views of the Clyde are tremendous."
    dined on 09/10/2013
  • "We were in Glasgow with friends to see Rod Stewart at the Hydro and also to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. I was searching the web to find a nice restaurant for this special occasion and The Red Leaf Restaurant came as a 'pop up'! I went into the site and immediately liked what I saw so made a booking. We were not disappointed as the food, service and ambience were excellent, such value for money. The view with all the different lights over the river was amazing, highly recommended."
    dined on 04/10/2013
  • "The restaurant is entered via a casino but this is no problem as it is totally separate and it rather added to the occasion.. Nice views of the river whilst eating an enjoyable meal. with well presented food. Service was good but a bit slow at one point"
    dined on 25/09/2013
  • "Food was ddelicious. Service was fast and staff really friendly."
    dined on 21/09/2013
  • "Excellent service, great ambience, wonderful views over the city and above all awesome food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. The fillet steak was amazing ."

  • "The dine out for £20 is great, the choices are great & the the food is gorgeous. The menu does have a few supplements."
    dined on 10/08/2013
  • "When I booked I mentioned that we were a group from the Radisson BLU Hotel and that previously I had booked the private dining room for client entertaining and requested that, if possible, we get this again....we did and I was absolutely delighted with everything as were all the rest of our party. We will definately use the restaurant again and spread the word!"
    dined on 05/08/2013
  • "The food was good and the price was very good value....Was booked for a late night birthday meal and we just felt like we were keeping the staff behind a being an inconvenience to them."
    dined on 05/07/2013
  • "Fabulous place. The food is !st Class and simply delicious.. There is no other restaurant in Glasgow with that wonderfull view...You can not get any better anywhere to compare with the £10 for 2 courses dinner.. I will be back soon for more amazing food,"
