A word from Sticky Fingers
Born in 1989 to legendary Rolling Stones rocker, Bill Wyman. Sticky Fingers Café was aptly named in tune to the infamous album released by the band and was the concept of Bill Wyman’s idea of what kind of restaurant he enjoyed and London should have some it too.

This haven of good times, great food, and original Stones memorabilia continues to provide an enviable environment for eating, drinking, and having fun.

Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers remains one of London’s favored restaurants serving award winning burgers, great tender steaks, and the best ribs in London. The service is always friendly and welcoming testifying that Sticky Fingers is even stronger today than the trend it started many years ago.

Diner Reviews
  • "First time we dine in sticky fingers and our experience is great specially our server Ines is very attentive, friendly and very helpful. I can highly recommend her to be your server for the day. Ambiance is great same as the music they play we feel like in 1960's and it's great. Food is ok not really enjoy my southern chicken but over all experience is excellent. You guys did a good job. Well done."

  • "We have been several times before over the years. Also this time our dinner and drinks were fine. Service was fine but at the end when presented with the bill, the waitress kept looking over my husband's shoulder and asked him if he was not going to add a tip on top of the 12.5% service charge. We always thought that service charge was the same as giving a tip. The waitress said:"The service charge is not for me. It is for everybody else. If you give a tip then that is for me". We are very confused because this is the first time ever that we have been asked for an extra tip. Sticky Fingers needs to review their service policy. The evening ended on a very sour note. I am afraid we will not be returning."

  • "It's a great place to get down and dirty with most probably the best rasting ribs in the world."

  • "Went to Sticky Fingers and had a hard time making a selection. Their hamburgers, ribs and fried chicken are among the best in the area but went for something different and had the fried catfish. It was out of this world - YUMMMMM. If you're in the High Street Ken area, and are looking for something close to a North American experience, you'll love it. Not a vast menu, but what they do - they do really well."

  • "Went for a birthday lunch, really looked after us. The food was top notch and out waitress Ines really made us feel special! Great experience!"

  • "A family favourite when in London. Unfortunately it was very disappointing for my first visit. Problems with both courses, both due to the waiter not paying attention. The first course wasn't what we ordered and had to be sent back. Then the main course (burgers) were all medium rare even though we specified well done when ordering. One of our group couldn't stomach this and decided to go hungry instead. Perhaps just an unlucky night!"

  • "Menu, once broad in scope and generally good, now shrunken and less appealing. Once good, now awful, hamburgers. Instead of a flavoursome, high quality and generous beef patty, now two skinny slivers of tough, low grade and rubbery meat. The new addition of "Southern fried chicken" is barely ok. Don't even try the mashed potatoes, served under a greasy puddle. We used to be regular customers of Sticky Fingers. We're not going back."

  • "The food was good as usual though the service was very pore and the cocktails were the worst I have ever had. A very annoying part of the visit is the drinks menu that has happy hour stickers all over the menu, which is very confusing as only some cocktails are included in happy hour. i.e. next to Kia Royale is a sticker that says happy hour but all the cocktails next to that sticker are not included. Then the standard of cocktails was very pore with little alcohol used to make them, as alcohol was not measured. I ordered 4 of the same cocktail and what was handed 4 very different drinks either full to the top or half full. When I queried the difference I was offered more ice!! Throughout the whole meal there were issues with the service."

  • "I took my son for his birthday and was really impressed, the food wasn't the cheapest but really good size portions and service was excellent. Was the perfect location for a teenager birthday and we all had a great meal."

  • "It was very interesting to see all the memorabilia. Food was okay - nothing special. All in all, not bad but wouldn't rush back."

  • "But we liked it. Same thing as this restaurant. Only disappointment, no music from the Rolling Stones."

  • "I've been to sticky fingers twice and both times i have been blown away. The food is absolutely mouth watering, service always great, cocktails are delicious, there's always good music playing and just the general feel of the place is great. Sticky fingers is a hidden gem on kensington high street and i cant wait to go there again!!"

  • "Ive been coming to Sticky Fingers for over 20 years and they have had their ups and downs with the menu but the new southern Style menu is the best ever. Fantastic burgers, the rack of ribs is still as good as ever. additional sides such as Mac n Cheese, pulled pork, corn on the cob have been added. And have always loved their cocktails. Definately recommend. Good vibe as well and as much as i love Rolling Stones, good mix of rock music."

  • "We arrived at the Sticky Fingers one hour early (booked 6pm, arrived 5pm) - it was no problem to get a table! Service was outstanding friendly, the food was great. My wife had the best barbecue ribs ever, my burger was tasty, fresh, hmmmmm. My children had a plain burger and the chicken wings - very tasty. The ambiente was great, we had a look (any many photos) at Bills bass guitars and the golden records of the Stones. In our view one of the best places to be in London! Great rest after 6 hours in the National Historic Museum..."

  • " Child's dinner was 1 drum stick and loads of chips - which cost £7:50. He ended up eating my chicken which was over cooked and greasy! Very over priced and poor quality. Would not go back!"

  • "Nothing too fancy. A bit like Frankie & Bennies. Food tasted really nice. Staff friendly. Just watch out for the 12.5% service charge ! You don't normally get that in this type of 'sit down fast food restaurant' "

  • "We arrived with a group of 8 people, and 5 of our 8 main meals were served cold (ribs and burgers). We each returned them and the waiter was very rude in taking back the food and blamed us as if we were the cause of the food. Prices are too high for the quantity; food was good but not extraordinary for the price paid. "

  • "I have been here a few times but was quite disappointed on his occasion. Side dishes turning up after main meal had finished and lack of desserts which ere not made clear when the menu was handed to us. Very sad at this experience as I will no longer be recommending it."

  • "We went for a Sunday late lunch, not many people in the venue so ambience was down, not many Rolling Stones records playing, food great but chose fries with burger mcdonalds style which were overcooked. Bought T shirt which turned out to be a ladies version and was too small. Hoping to swap it. Also allow for a non optional 12.5% service charge."

  • "Our waitress never returned after bringing our drinks, except to bring us our check. My drink was finished before my food arrived. I was never asked if I wanted another drink. Workers were fooling around and throwing napkins at one another and one hit my daughter, who is 3. No injuries, just unprofessional. Food was good, but service was absolutely terrible. "

  • "When the food arrived we were slightly concerned at the portion size and thought the food was over priced for the amount, however looks can be deceiving and we were both pleasantly surprised to feel adaquately full after our food. We had a 2For1 London voucher that you can use with National Rail tickets and this made the whole experience even more enjoyable ;-) Would recommend and would go again."

  • "We asked for some water twice and that took twenty minutes to come. My prawns for starter were in a batter but had pieces of shell still on them! I then asked for sour cream with my main. It didnt come for another 15 minutes which by the time i asked two servers for it, i had nearly finished my meal! They then has the cheek to charge me for it! And also put a service charge on when the service was awful. Weve only ever heard good things but after this time, we wont be returning! "

  • "Been to Sticky Finger's quite a few times in the last few years. Ambience was always great for R&R music lovers like me, food was fantastic and the staff was always nice and seemed delighted to be of good service. Last monday was my first time trying out the new menu and I was pleasantly surprised, way over the moon! The food flavor was stepped up a notch, adding quite a different presentation. My burger was terrific, The Pig, and Caesar salad as a side. Jalapeños were surprising and the NYC cheescake was even better than the last time. Staff great as usual. I will absolutely be back next month."

  • "The restaurant was very busy and had only a few members of staff. The staff member who looked after us was lovely but she didn't know whether she was coming or going. The food was pretty average and we had to send the rack of baby ribs back as they were cold Overall we've been but certainly won't be going back "

  • "The "background" music was a bit too loud. It`s not nice when we have to shout across the table. Apart from that service was excellent."

  • "I have been loads of times to Sticky Fingers but this time was maybe my last! It is going through a revamp and there is a new menu which was needed as for as many years it has been the same. However the mac and cheese had no flavour at all, the mash tasted like packet powder mash and the short rib was greasy and grisly. The bourbon ice cream for desert was the best tasting out of the whole meal. Also miss the sticky fingers album cover menus too now there is just boring plain black ones with their name on."

  • "We were a group of 9 an overall we enjoyed our experience. We booked for 5.30 on a Saturday in May and the restaurant was quite empty at this time so we had a nice area with plenty of room for a pushchair. The disappointments were that the staff got three of our orders wrong, or forgot to order, we weren't sure which so some items took longer than others to arrive. It was my daughters birthday and the chicken burger she chose was not available which disappointed her. I then felt the mandatory 12.5% service charge was a bit steep. No I did not complain cos you know what it's like - you dont want to make a fuss when you are out for a family event which would draw a cloud over the whole occasion."
    dined on 17/05/2014
  • "We had been here many times before and booked again to sample the new menu. We were disappointed that the chunky chips had been dropped, the burger was now 2 small ones but same weight of beef. The potato chunks were an alternative and nicely spiced in cajun spice. The burger however was incredibly greasy on squeezing it a lot of grease ran out and the bun became saturated in fat to the point I couldn't face it. I asked for a new fresh bun which was brought promptly and with no problems at all. The rejected bun was saturated with fat and as previously mentioned quite off putting. This feedback was given and they were professional and said they would pass on to the chef. Also no sticky toffee pudding anymore (gutted!)"

  • "These guys are always happy to see you. Service is friendly and helpful. Very family friendly with food that kids love. The menu is based on good old American favourites of ribs, burgers, steaks and chicken. Every body has to try Sticky Fingers at least once in a lifetime."

  • "We went for my mums birthday. Whilst the food was really good it was limited. It is child friendly, but again very limited. The sausage was more of a frankfurter which wasn't very pleasant. The southern fried chicken was boned with not much actual meat. I would expect boneless chicken for a child's meal. Not a very child friendly menu, there is better & more selection at a harvester. We were offered water before we ordered but at no point did our waiter ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The toilets are down some steep stairs so no access for disabled that I could see. It was enjoyable but nothing special. There's also no choice about a tip as service is included on your bill!"

  • "I have been to Sticky Fingers although many years ago. The food I feel is secondary to the surroundings. There were 3 of us dining and we all felt the food was just OK and you were paying for the surroundings as opposed to the food,. Remembering the experience a few years ago the food matched the surroundings and was great. The music was so loud you could not hear yourself speak. All in all quite a disappointing experience. "

  • "Only my second ever visit to Sticky Fingers but I left feeling a bit disappointed this time. The menu was quite restricted (I'm sure it used to be bigger) and while the food was ok, it didn't feel like anything special."

  • "This used to be my favourite rib restaurant in London but my experience this weekend wasn't anything to write home about. They had run out of their regular ribs and, to my horror, they don't do sweet potato fries anymore! My boyfriend and I both had the baby back ribs with sides but we were both still hungry so had to order more afterwards. For a Saturday night at 9pm there were a lot more children in there than I was expecting, which made the restaurant very loud and it was quite difficult to attract the attention of the servers. It was my fourth time at this restaurant but I probably wouldn't go back again."

  • "Good food, cool to see all of the relic Rolling Stone art. Over-priced, but what would one expect in Kensington. £140 for 5 people and I don't drink, they all had one and a meal. Pulled Pork is wonderful...fried chicken a bit greasy, but very tasty"
