A word from Sticky Fingers
Born in 1989 to legendary Rolling Stones rocker, Bill Wyman. Sticky Fingers Café was aptly named in tune to the infamous album released by the band and was the concept of Bill Wyman’s idea of what kind of restaurant he enjoyed and London should have some it too.

This haven of good times, great food, and original Stones memorabilia continues to provide an enviable environment for eating, drinking, and having fun.

Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers remains one of London’s favored restaurants serving award winning burgers, great tender steaks, and the best ribs in London. The service is always friendly and welcoming testifying that Sticky Fingers is even stronger today than the trend it started many years ago.

We chose the 2 courses plus drink offer. Our table was ready when we arrived. Good atmosphere but a criticism would be that tables are quite crammed in. Food was tasty and portions large. Not exactly a healthy choice of eaterie but enjoyable nevertheless. Lots of the latest pulled meat fad on the menu.

I booked Sticky Fingers for our visit to London after searching for suitable child friendly places near our hotel. It was a great place and had a great booth table. I was impressed by the friendly but sincere service. I enjoyed the 1/2 Chicken i choose and my son enjoyed the Southern Fried chicken and chips. Not sure the others were particularly impressed by the burgers though .

Sticky fingers has been a favourite treat for family visits to London in the past. However, the new menu has removed many of the favourites and those which remain are poorly prepared and no longer value for money. The waiter claimed they were focussing more on quality ingredients but we found no evidence of this. The BBQ ribs were far too spicy for the children (I also found my mouth burning) and to add insult there was a 12.5% service charge added to the bill. We will not be returning on our next visit to London. There are many similar restaurants offering better value

When I originally booked this I was unsure about how my 5 & 7 y.o. would handle it. Needn't have worried they loved and felt welcomed from the get go and found things on the children's menu no problems at all. The waiter (Caesar) was not only professional but had a excellent attitude and made us most welcome. It was probably one of the most relaxed evenings out we have had. The food was exceptional and nothing but cleaned plates were sent back to the kitchen from out table which makes it great value. Great setting, music and ambience. Very happy diners, thank you to the Sticky Fingers family for a unforgettable night out!

Agree with many of the other reviews, I've eaten here many times in the past, it's a big change to the ambience of the place with all the stones memorabilia removal. The food was as it was, the kids loved the ribs, would certainly still eat there again.

This was our second time dining at Sticky Fingers. The first time we loved it, service was great and so was the atmosphere (3 years ago). This time we took guests visiting from overseas who were really excited about dining at Sticky Fingers, but we were disappointed with the service, value and overall experience.

Arranged to take my nephew to Sticky Fingers. First impressions were good. We were welcomed, shown to our table, and asked if we'd like some water - still, sparkling.. It was only when I got the bill that I discovered that this wasn't an offer, but a sale! Food service was prompt and friendly, but the food wasn't stand-out. If you're in Kensington and want a run of the mill chicken / burger meal and you're looking to pay £30+ per person for 2 courses and some water, then Sticky Fingers is right up your street!

Decor was okay though not as 'American' as I thought it would be. Seating area too cramped. Downstairs loo dated and needs some TLC. Service was okay - friendly waiters. Service tip of 12.5% auto included. Buttermilk fried chicken was delicious & tender. Beef brisket was delicious & fell off the bone. Meal slightly pricey but it is high st ken! Might go again.

Staff were good and attentive without being overbearing. Lovely touch when they came with a brownie with a candle in it.

The food was ok, but nothing special compared to the price. The waiter was very nice and checked on us a LOT! - that was until he could not sell us anymore, after serving the desserts, there was no sign of him. Maybe you should equal out the visits at tables, so your costumers feels taken care of all the way. I had apple pie which was one og the most expensive and tasteless experinces. The ice cream was crystallised and when i told the waiter, he was sorry. But there was no compensation in any way. That is NOT good enough, especially for an american restaurant. Else the visit was fair enough

Amazing food (we had burgers), great staff, and lovely cocktails (recommended by our waiter as it wasn't on the menu). The only thing we didn't like was how many people were squashed in on tables, with not much walking space between them. This became an issue when trying to visit the rest rooms. Also as there was so many people we couldn't hear the music which meant it lost a lot of character.

    LimpShrimp
    Dined on 4/10/2014
I had booked a table after reading good reviews online, especially regarding the place being child-friendly. The staff were really friendly, but the ambiance was terrible. The place had fast-food restaurant feel to it, that even the rather cool memorabilia couldn't compensate. Some of the food was prepared halfheartedly (limp jalapeno poppers and squidgy popcorn shrimp, children's chicken drumsticks and fries just thrown in an enamel bowl), but the ribs and Southern Fried chicken was good. I don't think I'd go back just for those though. I think it's worth to mention that the children's chicken drumsticks had spicy seasoning, so my 4 year old niece couldn't eat it. It was all a bit of a shame as I was expecting a lot more.

I have been wanting to come here for many months and it did not disappoint. The vibe for a few pre dinner drinks is excellent, after sitting down we enjoyed an excellent meal and high quality service. The burgers are outstanding, and generously portioned particularly "The Pig" which is up there with the best I've had, topped off with a good selection of drinks and equally generous and delicious desserts. Highly recommended and this will likely become my usual burger joint. Great work everyone!

My 4 friends & I, who are all big meat lovers, were really looking forward to a night at Sticky Fingers to celebrate one of their recent engagements. We dined on a Saturday night and the restaurant was really busy with a loud, good fun vibe. Our waiter started well by informing us that the cocktails were still in Happy Hour bringing the price from £7 to £4 each. However, his helpfulness disappeared after that and he became quite abrupt and almost miserable. When we paid at the end of our meal he didn't actually say anything the whole time he stood there processing our card payments. He didn't ask us whether we enjoyed our meal. He didn't even say thank you at the end or wish us a good night and all 5 of us noticed it and felt annoyed by it.

We booked well in advance - 7pm Saturday night and the two of us were shoe horned into a table for 2 although there were other tables free. When we were given the bill we had been given someone else's added on to ours! We pointed this out and it was amended, but with no great apology for the error. Sorry to be so negative, but just telling it like it was!

Despite reading some poor reviews we decided to give it a try. We found it to be better than expected, way better!!! The service was friendly and efficient and we were made to feel welcome and advised on what to have. The food was exactly as it should have been, the chicken succulent and the meat on the ribs falling off the bones, yum yum. All in all great value for our money and will definitely go back.
