A word from Sticky Fingers
Born in 1989 to legendary Rolling Stones rocker, Bill Wyman. Sticky Fingers Café was aptly named in tune to the infamous album released by the band and was the concept of Bill Wyman’s idea of what kind of restaurant he enjoyed and London should have some it too.

This haven of good times, great food, and original Stones memorabilia continues to provide an enviable environment for eating, drinking, and having fun.

Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers remains one of London’s favored restaurants serving award winning burgers, great tender steaks, and the best ribs in London. The service is always friendly and welcoming testifying that Sticky Fingers is even stronger today than the trend it started many years ago.

All the reviews about this place were very misleading, this is below average and essentially a not that much better for money version of TGI Fridays, the chicken wings are good but their pulled pork burger tasted like it was microwaved. The atmosphere was non-existent and the service was adequate but nothing I will remember. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Aptly named Sticky Fingers was yum! Tempting little munchy starters and gorgeous mains that are not for those concerned with their waistline. My pulled pork bun with a side of Mac n cheese was sticky, gooey and gorgeous.

We came here after going to see a show we booked the table at 6.30 and moved it to 7.30 as we didnt want to be late we arrive at 6.40 to be told as they had other bookings come in they'd moved out booking but could fit us in. the food was average some of it over cooked. It was similar style to TGI Fridays but I would say TGI's is better. The staff were friendly but when i ordered a second drink after 10 mins it had not arrived I asked where it was to be told the bar was busy and it was coming. 15 mins later still not drink. In the end we had to ask for it to be taken off the bill as I never got it but they had put it through the till. It was ok - a bit fast foody not worth the £70 we paid for a shared starter 2 mains and 2 soft drinks.

Organised a large group birthday booking here. Triple checked by email that they could provide for gluten-free guests (one of whom was the birthday girl). Service on the day was chaos, with mixed messages from staff about gluten. We had 1 choice for starter and main, and had to argue the cost of the dessert (which they couldn't provide) off. They eventually I provided some side potatoes without gravy but charged us extra. It did feel like we were being somewhat penalised for having allergies. The main was also brought out with a gravy (some of which are of course gluten free but we were not told whether it was or not, and assumed it probably wasn't). Had I eaten it, I would have been seriously ill. Put a damper on my bday celebrations.

We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past with young kids and in the past they provided colouring crayons and paper. They no longer do this so the appeal for taking kids is far less now. There were tiny flies buzzing around (and landing on!) our food all through dinner which we found really unpleasant. When we asked for the bill we were brought the dessert menu instead and then we could overhear the waitress talking about us. I would not return.

A great menu to match the hard rock ambience of this establishment. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff made it easy to enjoy eating here. Although I did not have children with me I would say the kids I saw there were loving it, you will have no trouble finding something that they will seriously enjoy eating. The restaurant is definitely an experience worth having and be sure to look around when you are there. If you are having more than one course then I suggest you ask for a bit of a break between dishes as the staff are fast and efficient.

Never been to Sticky Fingers before, took my 16 year old twins there as a birthday treat, based on decent reviews. It was an early August Friday night & I booked a table using the website, which went smoothly enough although a quick phone call may have been quicker. The restaurant is a few hundred yards from High Street Kensington tube up a side road opposite & is easy to find. We were warmly welcomed on early arrival & shown to our table straight away. I was surprised to see that the place was only about a third full on the night we went, maybe because it's the holiday season? Nice feel to it, plenty of rock & roll artifacts on the walls & good tunes playing. Ribs & wings were great, shakes to die for. £90 for 3, well worth a visit!

A bit of the beaten track but worth the effort to get to. Family shared starters of jalapeno poppers and chicken balls. Mains-burgers perfectly cooked, hot dog and sf chicken also given thumbs up. Sides of coleslaw and japapeno honey a bit different and very good. Bbq sauce on table along with hot sauce and bottle of water delivered along with menus. Proper burger bar vibe with good music and plenty to look at on the walls. The boothes around the outsides were great however I would say the tables in the middle of the room seemed a little cramped (but to be fair you will find anywhere in London). The waiter was fantastic; very attentive and engaging. Rate much higher than Ed's, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe etc and would go back.

Sticky Fingers changed the menu between booking and arrival. Madness monday was not available. The classic burger we had last year was now a very plain burger. Read only a bun with meat, thats all. Only served with fries and a small pickle. Taste was good but not the burger we expected. I think the change is not good. At first we wanted to visit twice but we didnot go back.

  • Tip on top of 12.5% service charge?

We have been several times before over the years. Also this time our dinner and drinks were fine. Service was fine but at the end when presented with the bill, the waitress kept looking over my husband's shoulder and asked him if he was not going to add a tip on top of the 12.5% service charge. We always thought that service charge was the same as giving a tip. The waitress said:"The service charge is not for me. It is for everybody else. If you give a tip then that is for me". We are very confused because this is the first time ever that we have been asked for an extra tip. Sticky Fingers needs to review their service policy. The evening ended on a very sour note. I am afraid we will not be returning.

Went to Sticky Fingers and had a hard time making a selection. Their hamburgers, ribs and fried chicken are among the best in the area but went for something different and had the fried catfish. It was out of this world - YUMMMMM. If you're in the High Street Ken area, and are looking for something close to a North American experience, you'll love it. Not a vast menu, but what they do - they do really well.

A family favourite when in London. Unfortunately it was very disappointing for my first visit. Problems with both courses, both due to the waiter not paying attention. The first course wasn't what we ordered and had to be sent back. Then the main course (burgers) were all medium rare even though we specified well done when ordering. One of our group couldn't stomach this and decided to go hungry instead. Perhaps just an unlucky night!

Menu, once broad in scope and generally good, now shrunken and less appealing. Once good, now awful, hamburgers. Instead of a flavoursome, high quality and generous beef patty, now two skinny slivers of tough, low grade and rubbery meat. The new addition of "Southern fried chicken" is barely ok. Don't even try the mashed potatoes, served under a greasy puddle. We used to be regular customers of Sticky Fingers. We're not going back.

The food was good as usual though the service was very pore and the cocktails were the worst I have ever had. A very annoying part of the visit is the drinks menu that has happy hour stickers all over the menu, which is very confusing as only some cocktails are included in happy hour. i.e. next to Kia Royale is a sticker that says happy hour but all the cocktails next to that sticker are not included. Then the standard of cocktails was very pore with little alcohol used to make them, as alcohol was not measured. I ordered 4 of the same cocktail and what was handed 4 very different drinks either full to the top or half full. When I queried the difference I was offered more ice!! Throughout the whole meal there were issues with the service.
