My dinner of Lamb Shank was nice but the vegetables with it...inc an extra of carrots and parsnips... was just very small. My Wife said her Duck was ok..but the extra order of Dauphinois Potato`s was like one small potato cut in half. My Dessert was very nice. The place was empty for a Friday night which was a shame as there was an excellent girl singer on....trying to sing to nobody. Our Waiter was helpful and chatty. Why so empty....the prices charged were just too high. Many restaurants in Liverpool with decent food at a more reasonable price. This place needs to put this problem right or go out of business.

My friend and I went on a Monday when there's a deal for 50% off food...I got the cod loin and chips.....bowl of chips were nice...bit of lettuce and hollandaise sauce on the side...but my cod was barely bigger than a fish finger...my friend asked for Coq Au Vin....they had none...so opted for pork "chops"...she got 1 chop...though it was big...a few sliced potatoes with sauce over it and lettuce...she wasn't really impressed with it, said it wasn't that nice. So we wouldn't have been happy at all if we had paid the full price..(£14 for the chop and £15 for the cod loin).

This restaurant is a gem in the city centre. Located in the business area and in one of the oldest building in town, it is however quite modern. Menu is quite rich, food is really tasty and service is good. Staff very friendly. Many offers every day. 50% on Monday. Definitely one of my favourite places.

Visited this restaurant when it was Noble House and left very disappointed. The Bank has not improved at all. Staff too busy chatting (4 members behind bar serving no one). Service extremely slow despite only 12 other diners. The ambience was non-existent. Ther are too many things to complain about regarding the food (some cold, some missing from dish and some in edible). We were entertaining friends and all 4 of us left bitterly disappointed. Definitely not worth a visit.

We've been before on a Friday night which was absolutely gorgeous! The food was beautiful and the whole feel of the place was just lovely. A few weeks ago we went on a Thursday night. The food was still good but we were the only ones in the whole restaurant! The ambiance was very different! Staff were still lovely and did not rush us at all, but it did feel weird being the only ones there- perhaps some deals on a Thursday to entice more diners in would be a good idea.

The Bank is a pleasant enough resturant and the staff and attentive and helpful. However, the menu selection was brief and the portion size for a main meal was tiny . There is a similar resurant across the road which is superior than what was offered at the Bank .When my partner asked why his main meal was so small the waiter said he would give him a extra drink this never happened . I would not reccomend the bank

Picked this as it was close to hotel we were staying at. The place is nice and friendly but it was let down by the slow service and the food. It wasn't packed so we didn't expect to have to wait 45 mins for the food to arrive. When it did it was mixed quality ... the pork and the lamb shank were both tough although the duck was ok ... it was too late to go somewhere else ... and we were not asked 'how was your meal' .... hey ho ... not a place I would recommend ...

Bought a Wowcher deal for the Bank Brasserie, food was really lovely. Despite a limited choice the quality of food was delicious and both of our desserts 'to die for'. We had chocolate tart with home made ice cream and lemon torte with chantilly cream which were both fab. We had arrived at the restaurant at 9.15 for our meal and unfortunately it was almost empty, therefore the only negative was the tmosphere. I do hope the restaurant succeeds as it deserves to do well, simply because of the excellent food.

Maybe it was just an off day, but the minute we walked in having to wait to be attended to when you would have expected better, it got off to a bad start. Add to that the fact thay they had Channel 4 on a large screen blaring away, presumably had been showing the Aintee Races, but on on arrival "DEAL or NO DEAL" was being shown. The food service was ok,however, our prefered wine was not available and the replacemnet they offered was the most expensive of the ROSE wines. Which leads me on the bill. I asked why the wine charge was £2 dearer than that shown on the wine list. The waitrees offered to find out and returned with an amended bill showing a £2 discount. Having gone there because of a recommendation, I expected more.

The Noble House was our restaurant for the evening, there are a number if similar food style places in this part of Liverpool, but I was happy with my choice. We were initially seated next to a large group celebrating a birthday, but I asked to be moved as my wife and I wanted something a little quieter. The staff obliged us very quickly and without issue. The service was very good and the waiter knowledgeable about the offerings. The prices were not extortionate and quite reasonable. There was a good choice and especially if you are a lover of fish dishes. If I was going to criticise one thing, it was I'd say my medium rare steak was slightly overlooked, but only just. Apart form that, it was a great night and we didn't feel rushed.

The Noble House has been on our wishlist for years and we were delighted to get a reservation on a Friday night. Menu has something for everyone and the food was of a very high quality, not that expensive either. Service was excellent as are the vast wine and cocktail lists. Every course including coffees at the end were all delicious and we can't wait to go back! Thanks Noble House for a very enjoyable experience!

We attended The Noble House for lunch on a Sunday with friends. We had mussles with white wine cream sauce, goats cheese and salmon fish cakes. Starters were out promptly and unanimously declared delicious. Our mains were lamb tagine, fillet steak and oriental style sea bass. All were superbly cooked with delightful flavour combinations The only detractor to the meal was some live music which was a little too loud, however we didn't ask for it too be turned down, so that's on us. The Noble House is my favourite restaurant in Liverpool and as we no longer live in the city, we always make sure to pop in every time we're in town. Add to the 50% off on a Sunday and there's no way this restaurant can be beaten on quality or value.

Tried on several occasions to book, but always booked in the evenings, so thought I would book lunch. Very disapointed, I dined with two of my friends and we all ordered a different meals and were all disapointed, the bread that was served was stale, when we told the waitress, her reply was, 'it is not stale it is because it is warm' not the right answer! I would not recommend it to any of my friends, and sadly I will not be visiting again.

We opted for the Christmas menu. It was very nice, lots of lovely (real turkey), beautiful crisp roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. The salad starter was very nice as was my dessert of waffles with spiced maple syrup that I chose. My partner was disappointed with his Christmas Pudding as it looked like a shop bought single serving one, he also commented that the custard was ready made, but that was the only downside. The service was spot on. I would recommend anyone tomgivemthis restaurant a try and we will definitely be back.

This was celebration of our anniversary made possible by a gift voucher from family . On arrival we were shown to the bar area till our table was ready as we arrived 10 mins early . After a short wait we were escorted to a small booth and ordered drinks and given the menu . Order taken and starter arrived in good time . This followed through all the courses . The gap between each course was excellent and the waiter was available when required . Main course we both had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection for both us . As good a quality steak as we have ever been served anywhere . Extra for sides . We were at the table for approx 2 hours and enjoyed an excellent experience in quality of food and service . Will definitely go again .

Decided to visit the restaurant for our tea prior to holiday. Had been made aware they do 50% off meals on a Monday, so it was ideal to visit and save money, and eat a good meal. Lovely venue, very spacious. We sat in a booth, our server was a very pleasant young girl. Meal was very nice and decent interlude between our starters and main meal, visually appealing too. Only downside, when paying the bill it was noted as full price. When I queried this I was asked had I booked and mentioned half price. I said no, as I had done it online, there was no were to note this down or any mention I had to say it. I was given a corrected bill, but it did sour the ending a little, of what was a lovely time. I would go back and encourage others to try.

We went to The Noble House for my partners birthday, the website described it as a " one of the most talked about restaurant in Liverpool" so I was very much looking forward to going and sampling the food. The menu looked interesting and a bit different however the food was not all it was hyped up to be and for a bank holiday weekend the restaurant was not busy at all. I felt the food was ok but very over priced and as I had previously lived in Liverpool for a few years I could recommend much better restaurants to go to then this one.
