Got to say that was the best roast beef in the area, rare and melt in the mouth. The George and Fox beat the Coney for decor and ambience but not for food. Really pleasantly surprised.

Great Sunday lunch at the Coney. Group of four, two had the Sunday lunch and two chose from the varied menu. All very tasty and good value. A happy occasion. One question... why not clean up the mud pit car park? Grim.

We first attended the coney back in September for our anniversary, and decided it was so good we'd come back again. But this time will be our last, the service was slap dash and the food below par! Was definitely not a case of 2nd time lucky, and wont be going back again.

Everything was as good as ever and the welcome and service was outstanding. I had forgotten what a varied and comprehensive menu was on offer.

Received very good service right from booking. They were very accommodating with the three small children/babies in our group and ensured we had high chairs and were happy to rearrange table setting for the children. Great choice of food for the little ones. Disappointed with portion size of meat in the hot plate meal as there was more onion than beef and the chocolate brownie was so gooey it was almost uncooked. Probably wont go back as don't live nearby but would recommend to local friends with kids.

What a nightmare! I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and have enjoyed it a few times. I was impressed and thought it was a good idea to have a birthday booking here. What a big mistake. The service was poor from the staff; very young staff who had an expression that they couldn't care to much. Wine bottle was thrown on the table, without been offered to taste it. The starters was ok however the Sunday lunches were extremely poor....One salmon lunch the was raw in the middle. The deserts was a let down as well, brownie's were cold and tough... when previously they were delicious. I am very disappointed with a restaurant that had high standards before. I will not be eating here again anytime soon.

Have been here for lunch with a large group and also dinner with friends and a family meal. Whenever I have been here I have always been greeted warmly by the staff and nobody has ever been disappointed with the food...it makes a great change to the other popular high street venues. With the summit special offers its also just as reasonable and the menus have enough options to suit everyone. To date, I cannot fault anything about this restaurant and would highly recommend it.

The food is always good at the Coney. It's quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. We particularly like the staff there who are always friendly and welcoming. Would particularly recommend the Sunday Roast and every Sunday eve they have live music and a deal on pizzas that goes down really well with the family.

We love The Coney for it's alpine flavour whisking you away from West Wickham and off to the mountains! Quirky themed decor and menu are fun and food is plentiful and excellent. We held a significant birthday there and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone expressed what a great time they had and many have returned since. We too will be back again soon!

My family of 2 adults and 3 children went to The Coney to celebrate my husband's birthday. He picked the restaurant as he wanted to order the fillet steak he had enjoyed here on a previous occasion. There were a number of problems: *They had run out of fillet steak. *The food took 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. *We were charged for a soft drink that should have been included on the children's menu. This charge was removed when I pointed it out, but should not have been on the bill in the first place. *My daughter's burger was burnt. This was a very disappointing dining experience, and my family and I will not be returning.

I only visit this local restaurant as we love the steak on a hot stone. Steak is of good quality but if I knew somewhere else who offered hot stones I would not go to the Coney for it! Service was fast as of course they have nothing to cook, after that we were not offered further drinks, deserts or coffee. I had to stand up and go and find one of the 2 waiting staff to get another drink. I had to take the payment to the bar as no one collected it. There were only 2 tables occupied 6 people in total for two of them to serve, so not as if they were rushed off their feet! Oh and thanks to the idiot who left a black scratch down my white merc in the car park which is badly lit!

We have been using the Coney on a regular basis since it was taken over by Mountain Range. Food has always been very nice, never had cause for complain. Managers along with their staff are hands on, always attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble makes for a lovely atmosphere overall. If a member of your party doesnt want a main meal (perhaps an older person) if you ask staff they are happy to serve a starter as the main, very accomodating. Bonus for us this visit was a free Birthday Meal as a Summit Card Holder, brilliant!!

As usual the food and service were very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn't mentioned to us when we came in was that the card machine had stopped working that afternoon (we went at around 18.00). It was only when we went to pay by card that we were told there was a problem. There were 3 of us and the bill came to £70. Very fortunately we had suffcient cash between us to pay, but I'm not sure what would have happened if we hadn't. Other than that all very good and we'll be back.

The Coney in West Wickham Service efficient and friendly, clean and attractive surroundings (except where we sat) Ambience reminded me of a pizza hut - we were stuck in a corner. However food was very good - had a light lunch of vegetables which were crisp with some lovely chips, others had squid, salads, ribs and all gave very good comments - well cooked, hot and all arrived at the same time - I would go again!
