My girlfriend and I had the tasting menu with paired wines. 5 course tasting menu (£55) with 5 paired wines (£35). The food was well prepared and looked great. The menu was possibly a little bit bland for my tastes but my girlfriend really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the paired wines! They were a little different to what I am used to and absolutely spectacular! The staff described each wine and dish in detail and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The venue is nicely decorated. It was absolutely packed on a Monday though and probably wouldn't have been nice to be stuck on the tables at the back of the restaurant. Overall very nice dinner for a special occasion.

Ordinarily you would need to venture in to Central London for food of this standard but it was great to find this little gem on our doorstop. My mum was visiting and this seemed like the perfect place for a little treat - we went for the Sunday Lunch which was great value and delicious - the beef was cooked to perfection and quite possibly one of the best roasts I've had in London. Service was incredible and couldn't have done more to make our experience enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Yet another trip to this wonderful restaurant in Clapham Old Town and it did not disappoint. We chose the tasting menu with wine as we had on previous occasions and yes, it's not cheap but the variety of the food and the incredible creativity in putting tastes together is worth it. Small criticism - when someone has spend £225 on two covers, do you need to charge £3 for the home-produced water?

A long-term fan ... & another exquisite visit. The ambience has softened over the years. Maybe the staff are more comfortable with their offering. The restaurant is still extremely smart, but the edges are softer (windows open more often, staff more relaxed, the food does the talking). The bread is worth a visit all by itself. Warm, soft & milky; made with very old live yeast :) the butter rich & creamy, best eaten only once a week! Starter: white onion soup, crisp Bayonne ham and roast onion - rich aroma and texture - creative. Main: slow braised haunch of Boar, fricassee of wild mushrooms, salt baked turnip - lovely & a proper fricassee. Not substantial. Would have preferred the duck. Good wines by the glass. Mid priced bottles.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening, good food and excellent service. Would have liked to try the tasting menu but the first three courses were all fish, to which I am allergic. I did not bother to ask for alternatives, usually possible for one or two courses. The a la carte was fine. I will return.

We have never been disappointed by Adam and his team - consistently delicious food, interesting wine list, attentive service and great to have a top class restaurant so near to home. Have been to Trinity a number of times over the years and it never fails to impress. It's small enough to feel intimate but still offers up a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and ultimately a fantastic dining experience. The food is beautifully cooked, extremely inventive and immaculately presented. The staff are friendly and attentive but discreet and always willing to help with wine matching from a very broad cellar. Perfect for special occasions or just treating yourself to food as it should be cooked!

I took my husband here for his birthday. We chose the tasting menu and, although it was great in places, it was a little variable. The chilled pea soup was the star of the show: rich and refreshing by equal measure. The poached oysters were also fabulous but the bones made the plaice almost impossible to enjoy and the quail was just disappointing (although I can't quite put my finger on why). The staff were well drilled in the detail of our flight of wines and were very accommodating of my dislike of red but, like the service generally, their explanations were a bit rushed. I can see why this place hasn't got a Michelin star yet but it can't be far off. I would definitely come back again - this time a la carte!

My partner and I were very happy to be seated in the corner table by the huge open window spanning the width of the restaurant. The view onto the old dis-used public loos wasn't great, but you did nonetheless enjoy the benefits of al fresco dining in this spot on a summer evening. We enjoyed a complimentary Bellini thanks to a voucher we received having dined at their sister restaurant Bistro Union the night before. The prices on the menu took me by surprise as seemed more akin to upmarket restaurants in central London rather than Clapham. However the standard of food and service was high. A very different proposition to Bistro Union which brought us here. Food was very good. Just a shame both of our mains were served lukewarm.

I must be missing something. I have heard many people rave about Trinity so we couldn't wait. The menu was so poor for a restaurant of this 'supposed' quality. 6 fish choices. The tuna carpaccio was bland and flavourless at best, the pigs trotters were only ok, lamb was cooked beautifully but the 3 new potatoes and 8 peas I received with it could have been rebounded off a wall. My wife's plaice was so drowned in lemon it was almost inedible. Added to this, I never get why certain restaurants hide YOUR wine and you have to ask every time you want a glass. It was galling to have to pay this amount of money for this meal and then have to have something eat when we got home.
