Just wanted to say that the service was relatively good but beings we had pre-ordered our food that was expected. I really do think the portion sizes should be smaller we had a party of 13 women and we each had a starter and main yet not one of us were able to finish r main course. Food was lovely although there were inconstistenencies between the same meals ordered, some had more of the main ingredient than others. They were really accommodating as we wanted to sit around e bar area after our meal and were very helpful.

Went on a busy Friday evening with 13 others. The table was ready on time and the waiter was over immediately to assist. The menu was great and different to other restaurants and the beer selection was superb. Food came out much quicker than expected especially for such a large table and was very tasty. Everyone was very happy with their food. Would definitely recommend going.

We went for a reasonably priced mid week meal but I ended up feeling like i wasted my money. We wanted to go for the muscles, there weren't any at all and the pizza's we had instead were ok but on a par with or slightly below the standard of a Pizza Express.

The food was good and delivered quickly considering the size of the party, as well as the actual interior being light, open and modern. My only complaint is when it came to pay for the meal i couldn't get anyone to process my card payment as they were waiting for the card machine to become free. 15mins waiting for someone unfortunately spoiled the final stages of the meal as people had to get going to catch trains etc. Otherwise i'd recommend Zero degrees!!

When we arrived at zero degrees for my birthday no one greeted us to ask if we had a booking or not. After waiting 5-10 minutes I approached a waiter. Once seated we were not provided with menus for 20 minutes, we did try to get the waiters attention but had no luck until my dad got out of his chair to ask for menus. Once given menus , we were left only minutes before we asked if we were ready to order. The good was great when received, however the service was very poor. It made it worse when we asked for the bill and then a moment later the waitress returned to take the billfold, when we had not had time to lol at the bill.

The online drinks menu also had some interesting looking 'beer-tails' ie cocktails made with beer that I was really looking forward to trying. However when I asked about cocktails they said that they didn't really do them. A little disappointing and misleading. The food was fairly standard Italian, pastas, pizzas and a small variety of mussel dishes. The mains were ok, but nothing you probably couldn't knock together at home. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding which ended up arriving cold and tasted very bland. Just like the microwave puds you can buy in tesco. Also the desserts took about 45 mins to reach us. We got a free drink but my Cosmo was basically just cranberry juice. I wouldn't go back but the service was ok, the food was not.

We have had a few gatherings here in the past - mainly leaving functions for work colleagues. But this is the first time my wife, mate and his girlfriend went out for the experience. From the moment you walk in and confirm you reservation everything is so relaxed. A warm welcome, ushered to the bar to get acquainted with all the beers on offer - a little taster session before deciding on the tipple for the evening - and then chatting with great beer and casually going to the table for a great meal and dessert. By the way, the red berry meringue is EXCELLENT - beware the straying fork from other people at your table though!

I am a 20 year old and I took my mum, dad, 15 year old brother and 12 year old sister out for a meal on a Saturday evening at about 5pm. It was a stunning atmosphere, not busy but the tables weren't too close together either, lovely soft jazz music playing in the background but quiet enough so you could talk to each other without raising your voices. Very quick service, friendly waitress and food was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend the calamari to start and the gnocchi for main if you're a pasta lover or the bbq chicken pizza for pizza lovers! Portion sizes are great value for money! Can absolutely say I'll be eating here again very soon!

My other half and I went for a valentines meal together at ZeroDegrees. We were promptly seated at our table, however we had barely sat down and opened the menus when a waitress arrived to take the order for our starter and mains. I politely asked the waitress if we could have 5 or 10 minutes to have a good look through the menu and decide, however she reappeared at our table just minutes later asking for out choices, at this point I then felt rushed. Couldn't knock the food though, was lovely. For desert we had the polar opposite in terms of service as 2 bowls of ice cream took 35 minutes to arrive at the table. The waitress did offer me a sample of all their house ales however my other half was offered nothing. Overall good food.

You have to try the Thai green curry mussels and if you have a dining companion will similar tastes then share mussels and a pizza. We went for smoked salmon with mascarpone cheese and added rump steak - an unusual combination but one I will strongly recommend. This place is also a micro brewery and the different beers are fantastic, we couldn't decide on which to try so opted for half a pint of each and shared the lot. Great place that I would suggest everyone should try. Enjoy!

You can't knock the idea, food or ambience. But unfortunately the service was so bad it totally destroyed the event whilst we were there. Having to wait 30 mins to get a drink was a bad start, but forgivable if it gets better. Well it just got worse and worse and worse Ask a waitress for another drink, she says she's busy and walks off not to return . Plead someone else for service, they apologise whole heartedly but then walk off not to return until we call the manager. Manager arrives, blip in service a day then they are as bad as ever. The food when it did arrive in dribs and drabs was actually very good. A good idea let down by totally incompetent staff. From the manager down.

My only complaint was we asked the waitress roughly what size was the children's pizza, she showed us using her hands but when they came out they were twice the size. If we had known that they were that big we would have only ordered 2 and not 4 as our children were 4 years of age and under.

Went for anniversary meal. The food was ok. The starter was lovely the main was disappointing. Vegetarian selection could've been more and my meal was probably a little over spicy, more chilli's than anything else. Dessert was ok, however again not loads of selection and appears all deserts come with cinnamon dressing. The service was ok, but we were left along time between meals, even though the restaurant wasn't busy and we had To go to the bar to order more drinks as waiting staff were not around. Slightly disappointing.

I havent been to Zero Degrees for a few years, and was really looking forwards to it. We were a party of 11, and had booked a table well in advance. It wasnt very busy (despite being a Saturday evening) and two of the main courses came out 30 minutes after the rest of the orders (and a side dish was missing) - poor communication to update us with what was going on. Music was very loud so it was difficult to speak with fellow diners. The beer was good as always and the food was good.

Always enjoy going to zerodegrees. I know it will always provide what I'm looking for and I know the food is consistently good and enjoyable. Loved my beer battered king prawns my goats cheese salad was lovely but could of done with tarting up, a slice of lemon to squeeze would have made it perfect. My friends enjoyed their meals too but were very disappointed that the mussels had run out on a Tuesday. Slightly miffed at the 10% service charge as we didn't feel that it was perfectly earnt although our waiter was helpful and polite a few things brought our desire to tip down. That said, overall we had a very enjoyable evening and would not hesitate to come again. Love your concept and the delivery is great.

We booked a table for 8 for my daughters birthday. Unfortunately it was a long table rather then a round one, so we couldn't really hear each other. The room is very high and large and the noise levels are very high too. This is not helped by the confusing (to me) BBC 1 TV shown on every wall and TV and unrelated loud music. The food is mostly Italian but very innovative and the beer excellent. The staff, who were working very hard, were attentive and as quick as they could be. When they knew it was my daughters birthday then brought her desert with candles in it which was a nice touch. Most people had 3 courses plus a few sides. The bill for all 8 of us was under £200 which I thought was a very good price.

Although we had booked through top table the waitress could not find our reservation. We were shown a table next to the kitchen with huge metal pillar touching the edge of the seating. We complained and were then shown an excellent window table. After that things picked up. The menu is mainly Italian with nice crostinis followed by freshly oven baked pizzas. The ambience in the micro-brewery is great. Close by was a vast table of 50 students having there annual 'faux' prize giving. When paying we found out that it was our waitresses first service, so all is forgiven. A nice evening anyway.
