There was a limited menu as it was - with about 5 main courses - 3 of which weren’t available. The duck salad I had was absolutely inedible. The service was also shocking with them telling us we couldn’t order a bottle of wine past 9pm but we could order 4 glasses (obviously a way of making more money out of us) and they wouldn’t explain why this was the rule. Our bill came to £500 for 4 people and I could barely eat any of the food.
I loved it!
Amazing out waiter mirko was amazing x
Really brilliant night, great service, atmosphere and lovely food aswell
Not a great experience at all. I went here for dinner with some friends on my birthday.
First they said they didn’t have my name on their booking, which they then later found I was in fact booked in for the time and date I stated. Next, we was rushed to order food( nowhere near to closing times) after being seated for 10 minutes max.
Before booking I was aware that I could choose either a two course meal or to order from their menu. However when we got there the only option was to get the two course meal which cost over £30. In addition, steak, sauces and sides have an extra cost. So where is my £30 going towards? My dessert?
They also charge for music that the live band perform.
Now here is where I know my customer service at this restaurant was poor...
My friend was on a different table and was given an option to order from the menu and was not forced to pay for a two course meal. Their table was also given bread and nuts when waiting for their food. Oh and they got a glass of champagne because was her birthday.
Would not recommend this place for dinner.
Great live music, delicious food and well priced, amazing and beautiful cocktails although very pricey, quick and friendly service
Loved it! Staff amazing, great food, life music fantastic! Can't wait to be back😍
Absolutely appalling service didn’t wanna let us in even though the email to say there is a group of six men tried to say we never booked move the table to tiny table that seats for people and try to tell us that seat six terrible service will not be returning
Didn’t tell us we could only have the table for a certain period of time- live music started as our “period” at the table ended. Was told we couldn’t have more drinks there but could buy drinks at another table (minimum spend of £50 per head applies). Other tables who arrived after us weren’t asked to move as quickly.
Best night I’ve had out in a long time great food and music and service was spot on
Top marks as usual.
Perfect experience, top service!
Staff are quite friendly and we had a lovely time!
It was my 30th birthday and the waitress was very rude. The place is nice but the customer service was poor. Our waitress was very rude, seemed as though she liked training and rushed us off our dinner table.
Myself and 4 girls attended the Saturday Brunch and sat down between 3-5. The music was amazing and the day in general was super fun! All waiters got involved and were so polite and helpful. Food was great and Prosecco was flowing. I would recommend sitting later in the day 2-4 or 3-5 just because you have to move off your table. Food was great and lots of choice.
I been visiting Wardour few times and never disappointed me!
The live music and ambiance as always great 👍
Endroit super sympa : bonne table, vin correct, super ambiance. Nickel pour la St-Valentin et une demande en mariage réussie 👍
Partner and I went to this restaurant for Valentines day dinner. Place was way too crowded, our table was at the end of a row so every time a waiter/ waitress passed they would bump against us. Very expensive too for what we received. Won't be going back.
The service we received was amazing the waiters were great. My only suggestion is that the vegan option is better. The pasta dish was a lazy meal compared to the non vegan meals and the vegan brownie is dry. If you are a meat eater then you will enjoy.
Party of 6. 2 running slightly late. We thought we’d have a few little starters with our wine but the waiter decided he would find It easier if we waited for another two guests arrived and all ordered in one sitting.
I felt having a few scallops and a bit of Barata would be nice the wine we ordered and really felt we would like him to comply with our request of bringing us a few nibbles and two other guests arrived.
Oh no, hold that thought, this was way too inconvenient for him and after that 10 minutes of arguing he finally agreed to bring us some nibbles and starters as I had requested.
I felt like I was a 10-year-old child in a school dining hall being told by the teacher when I could or could not order.
When the bill arrived I reasonably asked for the service charge of nearly £100 to be removed, And the manager on the day did come and say that we had already stayed longer than we should have as the table was apparently booked from 8 to 10 and it was now 1015. I did point out there were many other empty tables so why did they need our table back so urgently. In any case she was gracious enough to remove the service charge.
The rest of the evening wasn’t much better and the bar staff were similar in their approach.
Band were good.
A real shame as I have been here many time and always found it very friendly. In fact I held my Christmas party here in 2018 for around 40 guests, and it was fab.
I think I might take my business elsewhere
Took my sister here for her birthday meal. Had a lovely time and the live music was great! We will be back.
Thank you 100 Wardour for making our girls night out together so special !!
The Surf and Turf there is a must !!
After our meal we ended up dancing all night !!
Good vibes!! Great set menu choices. Happy and would recommend.
Extremely overpriced and lots of hidden add ons on the bill. It’s an average venue with prices for a high end venue. Horrible experience and won’t be back.
Good music.
Food was too salty.
Staff needs training especially in etiquette & talking to customers. Overall not a pleasant experience even though manager tried to make amendments.
Waitress wasn’t very nice, it wasn’t very full on a Friday night and the music scene
Very good overall good service and food just one detail, I did mention it was my first anniversary and was told they’d write it on the dessert plate but this was not done, maybe it being NYE it was just a slight oversight. Overall though very good
Ha sido todo fantástico! Excelente comida, excelente servicio, ambiente genial. Todo muy bueno, un poco caro pero merece la pena para una ocasión especial.
I foolishly forgot that I had booked this restaurant 4 years ago and we left early then too! The ambience is fine and the food very good but even outside the festive month it's way way too loud! It's a restaurant but it double as a club and they seem to think that club volume music is conducive to a pleasant dining experience. You simply can't hear each other across a table and I have a loud voice. So if you just want to go to stare at your dinning partners then this is the place for you.
We were set to have a lovely evening however there were several things that spoilt our time here:
- we were being hurried through our Food as they wanted our table back
- we paid our bill in cash but some how the bill was short and money was missing. The waitress walked around the restaurant holding our paid bill in cash to get a bottle of wine we ordered, by the time she counted the cash we were apparently £20 short. It had been counted twice before leaving the table.
- we were asked to leave the table as others were waiting despite having ordered a bottle of wine and being told we had a further 30 mins
- we moved to the bar with our wine to be told by a pretentious idiot that we were at his private party, and by another to be questioned as to were we drinking their wine!
- we stood at the bar to be told we needed to transfer the wine from our wine glasses into plastic cups, for safety. You’d think we were 15 year old kids in danger of smashing a glass.
All in all a disappointing evening at 100 wardour street. All the glamour and none of the class or etiquette you’d expect of a venue like this, especially charging these prices. Wouldn’t spend your money or waste a good evening here
Nice music, food was nice, service was good- just there weren’t many servers so getting service meant waiting a fair bit
They change the menu. Frequently. Food was ok. Love the band. They now add 3pp to the bill towards the band and 2 toward the charity and they dont tell you. Service charge was almost £30. Its good for drinks and lively music.
customer service was excellent - just the right balance. well done to all the staff
Just great
Always come back and never disappointed
This is the second time I have booked the restaurant for a birthday celebration and the quality of the food and the service were second to none. The music entertainment was also excellent. Highly recommended and will return again and recommend to friends.
It was a very pleasant surprise walking down an elaborate staircase to the restaurant and entertainment space. Very impressive with the majority of the tables having very good view of the stage.
Entertainment was ok. A girl singer doing traditional ballads accompanied by a guy on key board and doubling up on tenor sax. He was very good. Acoustics not great but tolerable.
Food and service was excellent and great value.
Visited for my 23rd birthday table of 6 of us for the 3 courses for £35. Great value for money for this sort of place. Went on a Saturday night was expecting live music whilst we ate but nothing bit disappointing. Service was okay a bit slow, considering it wasn’t overly busy, staff were however lovely in terms of making me feel special. Only other downside was that I felt we were rushed which is never nice. Would go again.
The food and the vibe lived up to expectations, I can’t speak highly enough for the service too.
Second time here and again, food was amazing! We had the Scallops and Burata salad to start and those were absolutely delicious. Mains was Pork Tomahawk with triple cooked chips and broccoli which again were amazing, we had problems finishing all the pork. Service was impeccable with attentive service and good recommendations. You can actually just come here for live band who were so cool, though can be quite loud if you want to talk as you need to shout.
Great night out!. Went for a birthday meal which was great along with the cocktails. The music was great too
