Very frustrated with this visit to Two West. Being regulars, we went with two other couples for dinner. We arrived for our reserved time of 6:30 and unfortunately left around 8:30 still hungry. Our drinks were prompt as were our appetizers but unfortunately our appetizers were cold. Not just not hot but actually cold. After 8 PM and waiting an hour and a half for our food we checked with our waitress and she said our ticket would be next. We waited a bit longer but still no food and with plans for later that evening we had to cancel our entire order, pay our bill and leave. There is nothing more frustrating than leaving a restaurant hungry. Again, we are regulars and have never had this problem but one of the couples with us was their first (and I'm sure last) visit.
Very Nice Valentines Day Experience! Staff very accommodating in moving our table when we felt too crowded in.Efficient service. Excellent service!Food was nice Drinks were excellent and we made it in time for Happy Hour 2:1 -
The salad, appetizer and my main course were all delicious. Unfortunately my wife’s haddock wasn’t cooked properly (raw under the breading)and her green beans and mashed potatoes were cold. The desserts were tasty but for $9 each they really should be homemade.
I didn’t realize until afterwards when I looked at the receipt closer but I asked for a drink from their menu and was charged $5 for the soda and $10 for the alcohol instead of the same $10 drink charge listed on the menu.
I don’t see us going back any time soon.
Great food and amazing service, has def become one of our favorite places to eat and chill at
Had a nice Valentines dinner. Food was tasty and appropriately priced. Our only concern was that the room was very cold at times, but this was on a very cold night. Even with a heavy down coat draped over my legs, I was uncomfortably cold and just wanted to leave. I suspect a door was left open somewhere. I noticed other diners who were not in the line of the hallway looked comfortable. But still...
Always pleased with food, service and seating. Frequently recommend it to my friends.
The service and food were both excellent!
Great food and experience, staff was very friendly and food tasted great, will def be going back especially for the tasty pizza!
Met with some friends for the holidays
We ordered hot wings, a pepperoni pizza, and a kids grilled cheese. They were very under staffed and the waiters were running around. She apologized many times, we just had to ask for things and we did not mind. Such as a water refill.
The wings were really good, the pizza had a sweet sauce and the kids grilled cheese was excellent.
Even with the under staffing we had no issue and would go back.
Fun and relaxed atmosphere. Noisy but it is a bar so that was expected and fine with us. Nice to see family’s, like us, couples and singles. Made for an energetic mix.
Love it there!
Excellent food, cocktails and service. Friday nights are quite busy at this popular spot. Our sever, Val, was absolutely wonderful as she was most attentive and ensured we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Great ambiance overall with modern decor and vibes.
Great dinner with friends. Delicious food and great bar. Never felt rushed. Overall a lot of fun.
Lunch was fine, but not exceptional. 4 of us went on Sunday at 12:30 and there was a very limited brunch menu available. The server was not willing, or able to, to offer the regular lunch menu. We all ordered burgers for lack of other choices. It was okay but not anything special. The staff, menu and food were simply okay. No one at the restaurant seemed very interested in what they were doing. We’re pretty easy to please and went based on recommendations but won’t return.
Excellent Service and Nice Menu.
Could have a little more options and some better explanations on the menu of the choices.
The food was fine but there are better places to eat in Saratoga Springs. It is probably a great place to bring a group as we had lots of them around us. It might have been nicer to have been seated not right in the middle of it all.
Was a great place to stop for a quick bite before a show at spac. Happy hour specials are great.
Not great. Disorganized. Had to find a waitress to seat us, no hostess. Place needs a little clean up. Took a while to get drinks and then my 10 year old said the meat for his burger was gross and wouldn't eat it. So many other cool restaurants in Saratoga; I'd pass on this one. Just really was NOT what I was expecting.
I thought I was confirmed for a table. When I showed up they said no tables were available and we had to sit at the bar.
Food was good, very very slow service. No problem getting reservations during track season, which is a plus.
First the good: a quiet table was requested and honored so that we had a lovely visit with our dining partners with a moderate noise level enabling conversation. Wine was excellent, salads were great with a generous portion size and brought to us in a very reasonable amount of time. Main courses took much longer to be served and were mixed quality. The short ribs dish was liked, fish and chips were good enough with a good portion size ,but not great, the fish tacos ordered by 2 at our table were disappointing and would not be ordered again if we were to return. Each taco was served in a double shell, one soggy and one a bit browned but not good. The combination of flavors and textures disappointing served with soggy French fries. Perhaps the chef does better with salmon and steak?
Waited 45 minutes for our food which was only burgers. Our waitress gave two people the wrong order (but they ate it anyways seeing as we had already waited and they both didn't mind the wrong ordered food and said it tasted good) and our waitress was in a really bad mood for some reason and took it out on us and was totally rude to our table all night. It seemed like they had an issue with a bartender so the waitresses were making all the drinks themselves. We would have understood if she just was honest about what was going on instead of being mean to us. It was a very odd and off-putting experience. Drinks were tasty though.
Went on a Sunday when they have Happy Hour all day, which means buy one, get one. Service was excellent and food was very good and good value. Sat outside and of course there was some road noise. Plastic chairs were not bad to sit in and tables were spaced apart enough to not be crowded.
We had an awesome family dinner! Amanda gave us the option of a happy hour table, which we greatly appreciated. Stacks was very attentive and friendly. Will be back. :)
When we arrived for our reserved time the staff was disoriented and did not care that we had a reservation. The place looked disorganized- unbussed tables all around and they were clearly short staffed. We had to wait for service for which our sever dutifully apologized. She tried hard but the bar and kitchen were very slow. Oddly enough the food was simple but tasty so I might return if I heard other diners had a better experience - perhaps the time I and 3 others dined was just a bad day for them.
Great restaurant that’s not in the center of town. Servers were very accommodating and The food was delicious
This was my 3rd visit - always enjoy the food and the service was great!
Good place with the kids. I was disappointed that the blackened fish tacos were actually breaded and fried. Our waiter was fantastic and I wish I didn’t suck with names.
Perfect for a big family dinner with little kids. We sat outside. Very nice, delicious food, great service. We recommend the Banh Mi and the Wing appetizer!
We enjoyed our stay and our meal. The restaurant is easy to get to and can certainly handle pre-concert crowds. Parking is available but as a visitor, but better information on 2 West's website would be welcome. The food was excellent, tasty, hot and was delivered to the table in good time. We thought the portion sizes were excessively large, especially when less of the quality products served would be not only ample but less wasteful.
We were told drinks were BOGO, but were charged for both; one for each person. One should have been free. The pasts w basil and chicken was bland with very little basil and pre packaged chicken bits. Grated cheese was not freshly grated. Butter with bread was melted.
It was a truly poor dining experience.
Requested no ice water and both came out with water. Sara was very nice but i should have ordered a burger.
We live in Ballston Spa and wife loves 2 West for lunch with friends. A return visit is dependent upon management’s respone.
We dined outside and had a wonderful dinner with excellent service! Kevin took great care of us! This was our second year coming to the restaurant and I’m sure we’ll be back again next year when we come for the Jazz Festival!
Food was bland-
Service was good.
Great place to sit outside, quite and good service. Drinks were made perfect and pizza wasn't that bad. I would say 1 pizza for 2 people because they are quite small.
Great service at the bar and it contiued to the table along with great food..highly recommend
Thank you! Great dinner before concert
Good experience, good food, nice atmosphere
Mother’s Day brunch was as usual a wonderful affair, my only regret is that our favorite food item was missing this time around. Eggs Benedict :)
