Our 'Collectors List' is showcasing fine wines from private collectors, offering our guests a chance to discover more unusual and mature wines at their peak, some of which are rarely seen in other restaurants. Spread over two floors, the venue features two dining rooms and a 12-seater bar. Whether you drop in for a drink or to dine you'll have a really special time. We also offer 'al fresco' dining and our private room is available for events, celebrations or corporate get-togethers.

The best wine bar in a London. Amazing choice of wines, super friendly staff and perfect ambiance for cosy dinner.
Delicious food, friendly staff, pleasant and relaxed atmosphere!
This was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Booked randomly just because I was looking for something in that particular area, and although menu isn't huge, it still offered something for veggies, fish lovers and meat eaters. The wine list is great, and can get a bit pricey, but SO worth it. Every mouthful was delicious.
Ambience was perfect for our occasion - 5 old friends catching up. There is bar seating available which creates a more relaxed atmosphere, however the presentable and attentive waiting staff add some class.
Will recommend and definitely visit again
Amazing place for nibbles and a catch up. Great small dishes, good wine, amazing ambiance
Excellent service and good quality food (icelandic on this occasion).
Brilliant food and good service from one of the waiters who was chaming and attentive - she made us feel very welcome.
Wonderful gravad lax with a Chablis - good choice - intriguing ryebread and a dill cream sauce - heavenly. I then had a spicy seared tuna - beautifully fresh and subtle combination of spices and chorizo - worked amazingly well. Desert icecream was a plum sorbet - pure essence of plum - very light and not too sweet.
Would have given this 5 stars were it not for the offhand attitude of some of the front of house staff - felt as though we were interrupting them - made to feel a bit awkward.
We were there for a drink with a couple of friends. The restaurant has a great menu but we didn't eat on that occasion, just ordered a charcuterie board, a bowl of nocellara olives and smoked almonds. Would ideally like to see more options for nibbles and small plates to accompany your wine. We were pleasantly surprised to see Bulgarian wine on the menu and would recommend it. A very good location and pleasant atmosphere, not noisy and excellent service from a predominantly French team.
Clean! Lovely staff and good food
We had a very good meal here - good quality food, attentive service and decent wine. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful evening at 28-50 Marylebone, all thoroughly enjoyed our food, particularly the white onion soup with mushrooms. Only point we would say is that the scallops were not all that flavoursome, and there are a lack of ‘affordable’ wines.
Overall pleased with the very good food, but service was not up to the standard of the cuisine. No one checking on you, left with dinner plates so long gave up asking for desert and paid bill. However, the food was excellent and very good value. The food was equally as good as I have had in more expensive restaurants.
Bufala starter was poor.
wine service was inattentive
rib-eye steak was very thin and very expensive
restaurant was empty so zero atmosphere
A shame because the one on Maddox Street is very lively
Service is poor. Waiter is a ghost and never shows up, we had to stand up and go to the bar to get some service
Excellent value for 2 quick courses and a glass of wine. Really well cooked food too. And very accommodating (and prompt) service. Will definitely go back and explore the wine list when I have more time
Good as they allow BOY and they also have a good selection of wines.
Food was delicious (but we had to wait almost 45’ after they took the order)
Ok meal ( nothing special) but lousy service. Dont recommend this place and better onse in the vicinity
My favourite go-to wine destination, with a fabulous selection by the bottle and some super interesting finds to have by the glass thanks to coravin. Cannot fault it. Ambience and service are impeccable, too. Very versatile venue: good for catching up with friends, a business lunch, solo dining, a date, WSET homework... (I’ve ticked off all!). A real treasure, and in my opinion leagues ahead of its Maddox Street sibling.
A welcome return after wigmore hall for a very nice supper, good service, nice wine and pleasant staff
We’ll come back next year
Great service. enthusiastic about their food and wines, would definitely go back.
We'd chosen 28-50 as a friends get together place and we were really pleased. The place is pleasant and airy, guys working there are really friendly and just nice people altogether and the food is very tasty, fresh and different. Portion sizes are not huge, so if you want a dessert you can have it. The pre-theatre menu includes a drink. Sparkling wine with ginger is not an everyday fizz. I do like such unexpected twists. There is also a great choice of wines. Our many thanks to 28-50.
Food is ok, but overpriced. The wine list is very good and prices are fair.
over 1 and half hour to get our main (cod and seafood platter)on the table.
when we asked, the manager went to check but not a single information was given to us. After 15 minutes of additional waiting time the food finally arrived with, again, no explanations or apology.
we had to rush our desserts and sweet wine. when the bill was presented the service charge was not removed and only in that occasion the manager apologised about what happened.
28-50 is a great wine bar / restaurant if you want to have some nibbles or nice food but you’re really more keen on the wine. The staff is super knowledgable and friendly and will help you with anything. Ask them for recommendations or even surprise wine served blind and you won’t regret it. Quickly becoming one of my favourite places to go!
Always first class.
Working next door I always take my clients here.
And the wine list is out of this world!
We have visited before but not for a while, however the food was as good as ever, the service was slick, there was a buzz about the place and the whole experience was terrific
The wine suggestions that our waitress made were spot on
Great food and good service. We have a lovely time, and it wasn’t too noisy. This website says £26-40 but that doesn’t really account for wine... we spent £50 per person because we ordered wine.
Lovely meal with friends accompanied by some great wine. Would recommend.
in the past the standard has been variable but 3 days ago it was very good in every way.
My guest and I really enjoyed the food and the wine and the size of portions was just right.
The staff were very helpful and charming.
Great night, good service with great food. The wine was exerlent
I was passing by London and with a friend we were looking for a quiet place to catch-up and have a good glass of wine. 28-50 served the purpose. This is quite a sleek place with an impressive selection of wines and food to match. It was a lovely night in a really nice place, with friendly and professional service and good food and wines.
Good food and great wine, unfussy atmosphere, knowledgeable staff
Had a lovely relaxed meal with my wife. The food was extreemly good. The service exerlent .
Absolutely delicious. Attentive service. A wonderful evening.
Excellent wine, delicious food and the ambiance was lively but well balanced, thoroughly enjoyed it
Great wine list and good food too. Service is really good, and love sitting at the bar here. Top date venue (provide you can handle a well lit date night!)
Love the diverse and extensive wine selection and the offer of tasting portions
Service was good for main course but staff disappeared during. Had to ask the bar man for the bill and if we could get our coats.
The Icelandic element in the menu was very good indeed....
