About 34 Mayfair
34 Mayfair has become a modern-day classic since it opened in November 2011. A colourful contemporary art collection give the room a warm and inviting look, highlighted by the bespoke charcoal grill in the open kitchen. The grill, also known as a parrilla and fed by natural fuels, was custom-made and imported from Argentina and is used not only for beef, but also for seasonal game, fish and shellfish. The beef served at 34 Mayfair includes Scottish dry-aged grass-fed and US prime corn-fed from Creekstone Farm. Weekend brunch is a welcome addition to the menu, and dishes to be on the lookout for include lobster Thermidor omelette; crab & grilled asparagus frittata and buttermilk pancakes, cured bacon, maple syrup. The bar, at which guests can dine or enjoy an aperitif, has been garnering awards and is also host to the house pianist every evening and a jazz trio Saturday and Sunday.

34 Mayfair Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch Menu
Plenty of choices for everyone- Roast Beef
And sides - extremely good
Tuna from main menu - excellent quality, good flavorable creative dish
Service was excellent - staff was very accommodating
Would definitely recommend, noise level was low you can talk without shouting !!
I had a great time at 34 this weekend. It is a well known London restaurant and while some classic places like that end up being under my expectations, 34 was great - atmosphere was great, it is beautifully decorated with a collaboration with Liberty and the place is classic but does not feel stiffy. I had the cod with olives & tomatoes and mashed potatoes and it was absolutely delicious. Wine was great too. The lemon dessert was great and so was the apple pie. My only negative comment is that one of the waitresses did not seem to speak English well and misunderstood our dessert order so we ended up with the doughnuts too which were a bit mediocre.
Great quality food. It's a very nice restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere, not stuffy at all, we were able to laugh without disrupting eerie silence! It was perfect for a special occasion, as the quality of cuisine and service matched our expectations of the Mayfair neighborhood. The brunch menu has a lot of choice and everything was tasty in just the right portion. The staff was nice and attentive, although it was quite busy when we were there. One of our new favorite places, will be back again.
My wife and I selected 34 Mayfair for an evening meal while visiting London. We wanted and informal friendly atmosphere and good substantial food. I am not a fan of over manufactured dishes. We were delighted with our choice. The restaurant is located in a nice area, and has an impressive kerb appeal. The staff on the door, are very welcoming. The front of house staff are extremely capable, and made us feel at home immediately . The restaurant is laid out in rectangular fashion with tables along the windows , and banquets opposite with the open kitchen area behind. The seating is very comfortable, and the decor is up market without being ostentatious or over fussy. This is a busy place, so don't go for a quiet date, but the atmosphere is very convivial. The speciality is grilled meat, but the menu has something for all tastes. The wine list is comprehensive and the mark up is not unreasonable. We started with grilled octopus, and a crispy duck salad. The octopus was perfectly cooked, and the salad was very fresh, and came with the most delicious dressing I have tried for some time. For main course we had grilled halibut, and a rump steak on the bone. The flaky white fish was devine, and the steak was flavourful and perfectly cooked. The side dishes of Tuscan tomatoes and roast beetroot with yogurt were also delicious . For dessert we shared the '34' doughnuts. Warm freshly cooked pastries served with three different sauces. Beautiful uncomplicated food. Served by pleasant and professional staff. Our meal with wine came to £200, which we considered fair value. We will certainly go back.
34 Mayfair was a treat! Exceptional service from everyone from the doorman to bus person. Everyone was attentive without hovering and we noticed that the staff was very accommodating when two different groups weren't happy with their table location. The art was fun to admire and the jazz delightful to listen to. However the star of 34 Mayfair was the food. The food had superb flavors and was beautifully presented. Reservations are a must and worth the effort to make!
