Excellent location and beautifully designed, this space promised so much, but sadly fails on several accounts. Firstly the service from the rude phone operator confirming reservations to the poor service by the waiters and waitresses. Secondly the menu tries too hard, instead of sticking with nice and easy Brasserie classics. Could be so much better!
Love this venue. Excellent food in a great room. However - this visit a little marred by service of a standard a little below that which I’ve come to expect here. I shouldn’t have to ask twice on two separate occasions for water which I’d ordered for the table. We also waited much too long for our initial drinks order, then the cocktails and bread took far, far too long to arrive. Overall though it was a lovely evening.
Always love this place! It’s a gorgeous, classic and glamorous venue that has friendly and authentic but excellent service and wonderful food.
Fantastic service and atmosphere
Absolutely love this classic bar restaurant. Service is perfect, menu creative and delicious. Food quality is very high. Love the atmosphere. Would be happy to return. Fabulous breakfast !
Delicious dinner at great proce, food was delicious and the bartender’s recommendations were great! Went there for my boyfriend’s birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it - they did miss the candle though!
Visiting London from US. Very elegant little setting with very attentive service.
After spotting one of their well presented business cards on one of my clients fridges I decided that I would give this place a go as a brunch option for my partners birthday weekend. I am so very happy with my decision as everything about it was absolutely delicious and we both enjoyed the whole experience. I will most definitely return for lunch or dinner in the future and will highly recommend this venue to my foodie friends. Comfortable, relaxed, great choice of food on the menu and incredibly friendly staff. Overall , highly recommended and a great choice for our trip. Thank you one and all at 45 Jermyn St. Much love xx
Absolutely Glorious. Excellent service, and peerless cuisine in a refined setting. Do not miss this! 5 stars!
Wonderful food - we had the fixed menu. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Really enjoyed our lunch on Saturday at 45 Jermyn Street. We chose from the set menu and all the courses were very tasty and beautifully presented. Cheerful, friendly service.
45 Jermyn Street is our 'go to' restaurant of choice when we're shopping/having a family celebration in London. We love everything about the restaurant: the impeccable service, the menu and the ambiance. On this occasion, everyone was piling into the restaurant because of the rain outside, so the timings went a bit wrong with our order and our side dishes got forgotten. But the restaurant kindly took the cost off our bill without us having to ask and its not put us off coming back to 45. We love it!
Ambient, great food and drink, perfect seating after a long stint at Frieze...
My favourite restaurant! Always have a great night out no matter what the occasion.
The restaurant is beautifully presented and this follows through to the exquisite food. We had a business meal for 6 and it was excellent.
Excellent - Food in particular
No doubts in recommending
As always the standard of food and service is of the highest quality. The only disappointment was that we were seated next to a very loud and vulgar American which did spoil the overall experience.
Next time we will be a little more observant as to who we sit next too.
We still mourn the loss of Fortnums Fountain restaurant, but 45 Jermyn Street is an excellent alternative. We enjoyed a brunch to celebrate a family birthday here (due to a particular fondness for Welsh rarebit!) we were not disappointed - attentive service, delicious food and quiet surroundings made for a lovely occasion
Hostess made us feel welcome from the start. The food was delicious but not pretentious. We will definitely be returning in future trips to the area.
Disappointed they had taken the Crudités starter off the menu. They said it was a seasonal item, but we have been visiting regularly since 45 opened and it has always been on menu.
Further disappointed that new vegetarian options contained mushrooms and I am mushroom intolerant. Not a worry for most, but means that as regular customers, visiting 5-6 times a year, we will now go elsewhere.
We will continue to monitor the menu in case crudités appear and mushrooms disappear!
Shame because such a great place to eat!
My wife and I are big fans of 45 Jermyn Street, which is more or less a neighbourhood restaurant for us. The room is beautiful - cool in summer (you can also sit outside) and warm and cosy in winter. We love the long bar and also the booths. The menu has plenty of choice and is vegetarian friendly (we are both vegetarians). The food itself is always excellent. But what really makes the place is the staff. They are very efficient and professional but more than that they are really warm and kind.
Great food, service and drinks menu. Particularly like the excellent cocktails. Good lively atmosphere. Restaurant well decorated in a sophisticated but relaxed style.
Always love coming to 45 Jermyn for dinner. Tried most of their dishes on the menu and all delicious. Highly recommend beef Wellington which is always cook to perfection. Also their cocktail list offers great selection. The staffs are all friendly and service is great.
Service need to be improved need to be more friendly and more client oriented specially the managers levels.
Great breakfast menu. Not too noisy like the Wolsley
45's evening menu with cocktail included represents great value for money in a vibrant well laid out location. So busy, but not so noisy you can't have a conversation round your table.
One criticism: to have 3 desserts each with a citrus base is not well balanced, a no no for those with digestive systems sensitive to citrus.
However I will certainly be going back soon.
Very quiet, very cosy place for a Sunday brunch especially on a rainy day. Wonderful interior, 1950s vibes. Would definitely come again for dinner!
We wanted to try it from an internet posting we read. The decor was really warm and welcoming but the service was the undoing. We had to ask for things multiple times and were busy craning our necks to locate and flag down servers on several occasions. There were also some language barriers w some of the staff. The food was pretty good but not enough to stand out or override the shortcomings. Great if you are shopping in that area but for a Friday dinner it was sleepy and deserted, which was how we felt leaving there too.
ALWAYS SUPERB IN EVERY WAY, A TRUE CLASS ACT THE STANDARD NEVER DROPS. JUST WHAT YOU WANT, CONSISTENCY AT EVERY SERVICE.
The previous night was so good that we could not resist returning for a repeat performance.
It highlighted that the Hungarian Mangalitza Black Pudding is the best Black Pudding I have ever tasted.
45 Jermyn St delivered a fantastic dining experience with exceptional service
Great value lunch deal, attentive service and high quality food in a central location.
Excellent brunch! Great champagne. Would recommend the Welsh rarebit ! Super service and wonderful food!
The presentation of the grouse was too complicated, with too many small pots to wrestle with. Overall this is a very expensive restaurant and probably not worth the expense.
We decided to return to dine at 45 Jermyn Street having enjoyed our previous visits.
We were able to experience the 3 course set menu which also included a cocktail of your choice.
We knew we would not be disappointed after experiencing the pre dinner cocktails.
We then progressed to our meal which was unbelievable.
We commenced with the starter of Burrata, Heritage Beetroots, Figs and Pine Nuts which had exceptional fresh flavours.
We continued with Suffolk Pork Belly. Mangalitza Black Pudding and Caramelised Onion. Each element of the dish had fantastic flavour & combined to deliver a perfect result.
For our deserts we chose Pineapple Carpaccio & Clementine tart with the later being our favourite.
Overall 45 Jermyn Street delivered an all round excellent dining experience with it’s added attention to detail making everything very special.
Each member of their team contributed to a fantastic experience with the service being exceptional.
Consistently excellent spot for a breakfast meeting
Friendly and efficient staff in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Have to say the price is pricey for the food which is only average. Extremely poor customer reservations service over the phone which twice I had to tell off the receptionist to let me finish my sentence before they speak loudly and shout at their customers.
Reservations really needs new training and some smiles
V nice atmosphere and good value set menus. Had a great negroni. Starter and deserts a bit better tha the main
The entire experience was a delight. Special thanks to our wonderful hostess Janet who treated us to enjoying the art and the restaurant. Thank you so much! See you again soon❤️
Had an excellent brunch reunion with some friends here last Sunday. Really enjoyed the food and non alcoholic drinks. It was 4 rather than 5 stars because I need to have had dinner and get the full service to be able to judge. That said, they do an excellent brunch, the Virgin Mary cocktails were great, and coffee was excellent. I'll happily try this place out for dinner some time and maybe they'll get up to 5 stars
