45 Jermyn St.
Open from 7:00am to midnight every day*, the menu will reflect modern London cuisine. It incorporates classic dishes with those influenced by the cosmopolitan tastes of the capital’s restaurant-goers, embracing their ever-changing dining habits.
Excellent vibes, excellent service and would highly recommend for one on one lunches or dinners. Staff are always very polite and this has become my go to in the St James’ area.
Great service at this comfortable, cosy restaurant. Perfect for a business breakfast.
We went on a Sunday evening so the place was quiet, which suited us perfectly. The food was excellent and all the staff were very attentive. It was my wife’s birthday and they brought out some chocolates as a surprise. Lovely atmosphere with the bar area and cosy seating.
Food and service very good. I should have realised that being an early lunch on a Sunday that the place would not have 'a buzz' but it was still enjoyable as usual.
Lovely food and cheerful staff
My new favourite restaurant in London. Impeccable service, ambiance, and food quality. The wine list and cocktail choice are also fantastic. Thoroughly recommended.
Have walked past so many times so decided that we would finally book.
So glad we did.
Fantastic evening with lovely food and impeccable service with a smile.
Jonathan looked after us and was excellent.
We can’t wait to come back.
The black cherry Riki cocktail was lovely!
Oysters were spot on.
Beef wellington for 2 amazing.
Returning here for another occasion and was not disappointed - the food is superb and the service is incredibly attentive; it is hard to fault any aspect of this restaurant.
Excellent restaurant for vegetarians! Prompt service from excellent waiting staff.
great as usual. Breakfast is very very good, service and ambience is great
My wife and I ordered the same breakfast selection from the menu on a consecutive Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday breakfast was excellent (5/5), the Sunday breakfast was mediocre (3/5). What a difference a day makes. Consistency is the hallmark of a good restaurant.
We come here all the time and love it. It’s as good for a quick supper as for a special occasion. I love the decor - smart but not too formal - and the fact that there is plenty of space between tables. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. The barman makes a great Twinkle too...
Food doesn’t merit the price. Don’t do the steak. Service was good.
Excellent place, food is outstanding. My wife and I love to eat well, hence we often cook home using high quality ingredients as many restaurats promise without delivering, however I can assure you that this restaurant makes the difference. Are you thinking if this is the right place? Trust me, don’t even think a second about it, just book it. Service is also great. Overall is less expencise than expected. Number 1 english restaurant in London.
Great service, wonderful food, friendly faces from the staff and nice surroundings. Price reflects quality of the food.
Great buzz in this restaurant, food always brilliant
Ok for breakfast meetings - nothing mind-blowing though.
It is the detail that gets me - every plate has so much expert work included. I have eaten at this restaurant from it's opening and has always been spot on.
Perfect place for a birthday celebration for 4 - it feels glamorous, the service is fantastic, the booths make it really easy to engage in quiet conversation, the food is a real treat.
Third visit - always a pleasure - a bit pricey but value for money - terrific cocktails
Moderately formal - traditional venue. Food and service are good.
Great lunch. Lovely food and service. We felt really well looked after.
Lovely breakfast venue . Buck rarebit was delicious. Busy but that creates the right atmosphere.
Excellent lunch enjoyed by all our guests. Wine particularly enjoyed! Staff were attentive and handled latecomers very adeptly.
Delicious food in a super setting
Wonderful venue with beautiful decor. Food was very good as was the service however for the price I would have expected outstanding.
Nonetheless a good lunch venue.
Several mistakes made with our order: including the wrong tea being brought out and the strainer not being in the teapot. Staff were not up the normal fortnums standards.
Was looking for a good last minute booking for my wife and me to have dinner somewhere that wasn't too noisy, and 45 Jermyn Street seemed to fit the requirement.
Service was excellent, ambience was great, good vegetarian options for the wife, superb steak for me. A definite to pop on our favourite restaurant list.
Took my parents for lunch on a Saturday. It's a beautiful and stylish place to dine with a an impressive Art Deco inspired interior and large comfortable banquettes. We ate from the weekend set menu which represents top value for the quality (the raw mackerel crispy tacos are gorgeous) and drank an excellent bottle of Rolly Gassmann Reisling (£41). Service by the waiter at our table was spot on, however, the chap who 'greeted' us at the door and showed us to our table was rather brusque and unfriendly on both the way in and the way out. Him aside, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Our table was slightly cold as near the door. Noise levels were high....but a table near us were noisy. We treated our friends to dinner and the food was wonderful. They eat out a lot and like expensive restaurants. They couldn't stop raving about the food....best meal they had eaten in ages. They had the burratia and the gnocchi from the dinner set menu. We had the gorgeous salmon. We will return.
Early lunch was excellent. Good and prompt service, food very well presented and tasty, bill not small but good value for the area- well with a visit.
We did a pre-theatre menu, which gives you a choice of 3 entrees and 3 starters and 3 desserts. One of us had the burrata and one had pumpkin soup. Both were delicious. For entrees we had the pork belly and the salmon. The pork belly was great, the salmon was good - perhaps a bit overcooked for our taste. The service was excellent, the presentation was also superb, and we loved the ambiance of this art deco bar/restaurant. It's conveniently located to Picadilly Circus and the West End. The pre-theatre menu is a great value. Highly recommended.
Awful evening really. Ignored almost completely from the moment we arrived. Our server was pleasant but over stretched and no one else came near us. Caviar and it's accompaniments delicious. As was the Burrata starter. Mains were dreadful. Gnocchi oversalted. Guinea fowl and haggis bland and under seasoned. Didn't bother with dessert.
Road diggers outside spoilt the experience - family had booked for my birthday - felt the restaurant should have mentioned this.
Not much selection for kids.
Ambiance and food excellent, but what make it exceptional was the attention and friendliness of the young waitress.
Will visit again, especially as it is on our route between hotel and theatre.
Great food and service. Enjoyed our lunch very much. A great venue right in the heart of Mayfair.
very good and staff very helpful and suggestive and willing to help
No. 45 may not be on the absolute bleeding edge of gastronomy (thank goodness) but what they do, they do exceedingly well. We could not fault the ingredients, cooking and presentation of all the dishes, of which two were finished off in entertaining fashion at the table - can’t get fresher than that.
The menu is not overly long but there are quality choices in all departments: meat, fish, vegetarian; many of the dishes come with traditional accompaniments so you don’t need to order much in the way of sides.
The restaurant with its cocktail bar is large enough to have an agreeable buzz to it but small enough not to lose the intimacy and sense of occasion which the attentive staff plus beautiful decor and upholstery give the place.
I have given it 5* for value, which at £300 for three may sound odd but that was for drinks, three decadent courses with all the trimmings and a £120 bottle of wine because the company and the meal deserved it. Plus we spent nearly four hours at the table, leaving very satisfied but not overfull.
Highly recommended if you enjoy classic, well presented, high-end comfort food in beautiful surroundings.
Good manager, v attentive and helpful. Liked the menu , wine list a bit too top heavy. Table a bit tight for 2blokes . Enjoyable stylish setting, Welsh rarebit excellent!
