Excellent food and service. Lovely ambience, we dined for breakfast and throughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thankyou .
Great staff very helpful and friendly great tasting food well presented excellent service!
It's a 'proper' restaurant, if you know what I mean. No waiters in Converse or 'small plates'. Just 'proper'. Best risotto I have ever had, and I have eaten a lot. Stunning. I am still thinking about it now. The truffle cheese toasty is very basic indeed and my Breville could do better, and it costs more than the Breville machine itself! Not generous but certainly fair amount of truffle. The cauliflower cheese that arrived with the roast beef was divine. Really good chips. Fabulous knickerbocker Glory.......I'd pop in for one of those on its own anytime. The weak link was the shallot and goats cheese tart, which was pretty poor indeed. The rest of the vegetarian mains selection did not look very interesting or appealing but may well be. Wine list 60-70% margins so top end as one would expect here and with no hidden gems after scouring up and down a few times. Will come back definitely but choose a couple of things differently. Staff are attentive but not at all in your face. Counter seating highly recommended. Thank you 45JS!
Attractive dining-room, very good food. Slightly overpriced (15-20%) and slightly understaffed on that Saturday evening - the waiter presenting the mains (boeuf Wellington, the star dish of the house) was not able to give full attention to it, as he had to assist in welcoming the new guests.
The waiter Gabor deserves a special thanks for his accurate and kind service.
Love this place, been a few times and for a relaxed dinner it’s perfect, the service is spot on without being rushed and the food always delivers,
Lovely place and I’ll keep going regularly!
Once again a wonderful meal in a really friendly atmosphere. We have taken several of our guests to eat here and they all love it. The food is good and well cooked. The service is excellent and friendly.
This was the second time visiting, and was not disappointed. Everything about this place is tip top
Delicious lunch in a posh atmosphere! Service was brisk, which was nice at midday.
Enjoyable evening. Cocktails were delicious.
Though we got charged more than we should have been. The cocktails were included in the set menu but they charged us separately for this. Check your bill properly before paying. I feel cheated now.
Excellent unrushed luncheon, tasty food, great service. Would recommend.
We had a lovely experience. Great atmosphere for small group of friends. Amazing food and excellent service.
Will definitely recommend.
Loved the restaurant & really lovely staff, very kind & attentive
SUPERB RESTAURANT, SUPERB FOOD, SUPERB STAFF AND AMBIENCE. THIS IS OUR H.Q. WHILST IN LONDON AND ABSOLUTELY NEVER FAILS TO DELIVER. SUCCESS IS MEASURED IN YEARS, NOT WEEKS OR MONTHS AND THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT IS A TRUE TEST OF THAT ADAGE. GREAT THANKS TO ALL THE TEAM THAT MAKES EACH VISIT REALLY SPECIAL. MANY THANKS TUDOR DAVIES
Great food, great service and really great value for money from fixed price lunch menu
Incredible food in a beautiful setting. Excellent service. Perfect Sunday lunch venue.
Friendly atmosphere. Varied menu from light lunch to full 3courses. Something for everyone.
Excellent! Not attempting to be either formal or trendy, but focusing on the quality and preparation of the ingredients, which were superb. Superb foie gras starter and one of the best Dover Sole's I've ever had (and I've had quite a few).
A real institution. Service is always great . Good was lovely .
Perfect way to end a days shopping in Fortnums
One of my favourite restaurants during the festive season, unfortunately though this time around, the service was very poor. Drinks orders were not correct twice...very disappointing. Especially since I was dining with an executive from high end liquor company.
Was lovely as usual!!! Food was very good and hot! Only minor gripe was that hot drinks came so quickly they were finished by the time food came!
Lovely food,
Great food - best dessert coupe - an Elizabeth at around £5 with cherries soaked in brandy along with a red fruit sorbet and cream (and a nut Tuille) - best value dessert in town
Great service, lovely ambience. Perfect for business meeting
Staff and service were totally gorgeous! Attentive but not over the top, charming and funny.
Another trip to 45 Jermyn St, and another flawless meal. It’s such a great place to dine at, and reasonably priced for such quality ingredients. The monkfish is spectacular.
Absolutely delicious fresh food, healthy and tasty, great pleasant service and lovely ambience! It was good to be back after so long!
Excellent welcome and service from the moment we walked in. A great menu with a lot of choice. Some of our dishes had an interesting twist to them
Lovely food and ambiance. Attentive service. Interesting menu
Average at everything. Not worth the money. Arrogant and offish staff. Bland food and a high price.
the best service we have experienced in a long time at any restaurant. Attentive yet discreet. Excellent food and great choice.
Yummy yummy yummy yummy we all left so very happy after lunch
The table service was very poor. The food was excellent.
Very good food and service but probably overpriced even for the location
Buzzing bay restaurant with a wide ranging if pricey menu. Wine list is ok but proceed with care, the relatively expensive Austrian red was disappointing. Service efficient but cheerless.
Located in a fabulous part of town and whilst clearly never going to be the cheapest provides a beautiful Art Deco setting with great ambience and almost certainly the most perfect bacon sandwich in London. Great coffee too according to my breakfast companion.
We were staying at the Cavendish Hotel (next door) and it was a pleasure to leave its miserable cocktail bar and walk into 45 Jermyn Street. We had a great night, with exceptional service, lovely wines and very good food. We returned for breakfast the next morning.
Overall, I was happy with the restaurant, but just felt the prices were a bit ridiculous in part..£17 for a medium glass of wine is shocking! Also upset not be told about the pre theatre menu which wasn’t time indicated on the website or suggested as an option in the confirmation call from the restaurant!
Usually my first choice for lunch in the West End and i'm never disappointed. Be back before Christmas hopefully.
