Opened by the Moreau family the food is an expression of modern French cuisine; using only locally sourced and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately my wife and myself were not able to attend the booking l had made so my daughter and fiance went instead. We were very jealous as they never stopped raving about the total experience. The food was exceptional, good flavours and variety. They also said the staff were very attentive and friendly. All in all, they gave it a five star and they are very fussy, so it must be good.
We can't wait until we also can enjoy 63 degrees and hopefully won't be to long.

Our first visit to 63 degrees and loved it. We stuck to the set menu which had good choices and great value for money. Went for three courses and all were delicious. Also have a really nice selection of wine. Area has been developed and you can see many architectural features in the surrounding buildings that reflect the industrial revolution, nice vibe to the area. Definitely will visit again!

This was our second time at 63 Degrees and both visits have been excellent. The lunch deal and the Tuesday tasting menu offer are both superb value for money. The dishes are modern in style and presentation but very traditionally French in flavour. 63 Degrees is without doubt the best French restaurant in Manchester in my opinion.

Extremely overpriced for what you get - £16 GBP -£18 GBP average price for a starter course and v.small mains portions. I purposely picked a Risotto dish @ £15 GBP for the main - as this was the lowest cost dish I could find. I have to say we weren't on a budget - because we weren't - and I really don't mind don't mind paying for good food, great service & atmosphere. However, when the restaurant has the front to charge £4.50 GBP for Evian water - and Asahi beer is only £3.80 GBP, something is dreadfully wrong with the pricing policy. My partner said she felt there was an air of snobbishness to the restaurant, which I did get, as I did feel there was an element of prententiousness (why, I don't know) - but given the location 63 degrees, it's completely out of kilter for the area.

Although we enjoyed the food and drink, it was overpriced and the portion size of the starters and side dishes were too small. To be honest, I was surprised that our main course didn’t have side dishes included in the price.

You could eat the same standard or better in France for half of the price that we paid. Also the waitress, although she was pleasant, gave us incorrect pricing regarding one of the dishes, which lead to us to paying more than we had expected to pay on the bill.

The head of house, manager, was a little bit arrogant and haute when we questioned the total of the bill, and the mistake that the waitress had made, and also when we asked what was used to light the creme brûlée.

Arguably one of the best meals I have had eating out in Manchester. French food was cooked to perfection, excellent wine and the service was spot on. Our waiter Kevin looked after us great. We will definitely be returning at some point to sample more of the menu. Very reasonably priced, a jewel of a restaurant!

Always enjoy my time at 63 Degrees, however after eating the oysters, I have been hit by very, very bad norovirus. Honestly, it's a Russian roulette when eating seafood - especially in this season.
Staff, always fantastic and yes it's a little overpriced, but the care and attention to the meals is high and a place recommended for special occasions.

We had a terrible experience on Valentine’s night ! We asked for steak well done , the waiter rolled his eyes !!! When it arrived it was swimming in blood which completely put me off my food . We paid and left , I have sent them an email about our experience and they have ignored me , I would never return .

Booked for a special anniversary. Lovely food, just not enough ok it. Portion a bit small , not enough bread as you would expect a basket of bread on the table, as being a french restaurant for your meal. Lack of vegetables & potatoes with your main course, all extra but not big enough to share if you buy extra. Overall, nice meal with good service, and will go there again.

Quality of the food and service was great. There was only really one negative about the whole experience which was the fact that the main scallop dish had fewer scallops on it that the starter!

When you're paying £25 for a main course, it leaves you feeling a little ripped off! Probably won't go back for that reason alone.

Recommended by friends, I was looking forward this meal but it cams as disappointment. Ordered sea bass, came a tiny portion with a watery kind of source, not much flavour. Cheese board was a joke, £14 for 5 tiny pieces of cheese, not even enough to cover a tiny piece of bread. Hugely overpriced! The service was very good though.

I have visited a few times. My view is that the food has become dull. I took the set menu. There is very little choice and my chicken came with nothing. When I asked what is served with it, I was told that it came with a few small vegetables. I do not call a few micro lettuce shoots "a few small vegetables". I ordered pommes dauphinois but it needed some green vegetable which, to be frank, should be part of the dish. There was no balance and for that reason, I scored it low. The cuisine is very good but the set menu had the same main dish as a year ago which was disappointing.
