The restaurant benefits from a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with an individual interior design. Average costs for a Main Course range from £12 to £24 with an average 3 course meal costing approximately £30. 63 Degrees can cater for private events or parties including wedding receptions, delivering fine dining with excellent service.
Our first visit to 63 degrees and loved it. We stuck to the set menu which had good choices and great value for money. Went for three courses and all were delicious. Also have a really nice selection of wine. Area has been developed and you can see many architectural features in the surrounding buildings that reflect the industrial revolution, nice vibe to the area. Definitely will visit again!
Been to Michelin star restaurants and this is on a par at less the expense
I can never understand why this restaurant is not overrun with customers. The location is a bit off the beaten track but everything about it is near flawless
A real gem. Wonderful food and charming service in the cool northern quarter.
So glad I researched ‘snails’ in Manchester
Food was stunning and the place itself is great
The red wine was a fantastic very good bodied wine, well worth the money
Staff very friendly and very professional
Definitely worth another visit
Overall worth every penny spent
This was our second time at 63 Degrees and both visits have been excellent. The lunch deal and the Tuesday tasting menu offer are both superb value for money. The dishes are modern in style and presentation but very traditionally French in flavour. 63 Degrees is without doubt the best French restaurant in Manchester in my opinion.
A very relaxed enjoyable sunday lunch - excellent service
Fantastic night. Will definitely be visiting again.
Authentic French cuisine, great experience. Food is superb, staff is very friendly offering great service.
Valentines Day - perfect
Extremely overpriced for what you get - £16 GBP -£18 GBP average price for a starter course and v.small mains portions. I purposely picked a Risotto dish @ £15 GBP for the main - as this was the lowest cost dish I could find. I have to say we weren't on a budget - because we weren't - and I really don't mind don't mind paying for good food, great service & atmosphere. However, when the restaurant has the front to charge £4.50 GBP for Evian water - and Asahi beer is only £3.80 GBP, something is dreadfully wrong with the pricing policy. My partner said she felt there was an air of snobbishness to the restaurant, which I did get, as I did feel there was an element of prententiousness (why, I don't know) - but given the location 63 degrees, it's completely out of kilter for the area.
Fabulous £20 menu for three courses. A lovely way to sample the food. Would definitely go back
Although we enjoyed the food and drink, it was overpriced and the portion size of the starters and side dishes were too small. To be honest, I was surprised that our main course didn’t have side dishes included in the price.
You could eat the same standard or better in France for half of the price that we paid. Also the waitress, although she was pleasant, gave us incorrect pricing regarding one of the dishes, which lead to us to paying more than we had expected to pay on the bill.
The head of house, manager, was a little bit arrogant and haute when we questioned the total of the bill, and the mistake that the waitress had made, and also when we asked what was used to light the creme brûlée.
Arguably one of the best meals I have had eating out in Manchester. French food was cooked to perfection, excellent wine and the service was spot on. Our waiter Kevin looked after us great. We will definitely be returning at some point to sample more of the menu. Very reasonably priced, a jewel of a restaurant!
Amazing food , very nice wine , great atmosphere , very nice restaurant , will be going back very soon .
Excellent food, ambiance & service. Only niggle was the charge of £9 for water (Evian) - we were not given the choice of bottled or tap.
Always enjoy my time at 63 Degrees, however after eating the oysters, I have been hit by very, very bad norovirus. Honestly, it's a Russian roulette when eating seafood - especially in this season.
Staff, always fantastic and yes it's a little overpriced, but the care and attention to the meals is high and a place recommended for special occasions.
We had a terrible experience on Valentine’s night ! We asked for steak well done , the waiter rolled his eyes !!! When it arrived it was swimming in blood which completely put me off my food . We paid and left , I have sent them an email about our experience and they have ignored me , I would never return .
A lovely meal....had the set lunch, excellent value.....highly recommended.Visited this restaurant several times and never been disappointed.Service always pleasant and efficient....
Perfect dining experience...excellent food, lovely wine list, special intimate service... overall first rate
Booked for a special anniversary. Lovely food, just not enough ok it. Portion a bit small , not enough bread as you would expect a basket of bread on the table, as being a french restaurant for your meal. Lack of vegetables & potatoes with your main course, all extra but not big enough to share if you buy extra. Overall, nice meal with good service, and will go there again.
Quality of the food and service was great. There was only really one negative about the whole experience which was the fact that the main scallop dish had fewer scallops on it that the starter!
When you're paying £25 for a main course, it leaves you feeling a little ripped off! Probably won't go back for that reason alone.
Fabulous food and excellent service. It was our first visit on Saturday but we will definitely be returning. A real gem of a place.
Recommended by friends, I was looking forward this meal but it cams as disappointment. Ordered sea bass, came a tiny portion with a watery kind of source, not much flavour. Cheese board was a joke, £14 for 5 tiny pieces of cheese, not even enough to cover a tiny piece of bread. Hugely overpriced! The service was very good though.
I have been to 63 degrees on a number of occasions and it never fails to please a wonderful entirely authentic French Restaurant.
Beautifully cooked scallops and turbot and an excellent wine to match recommended by the waiter. Thank you.
Excellent .... First visit. We relied on the staff for menu and wine suggestions..
Great food , lovely atmosphere, knowledgeable about the wine list
Excellent food, fabulous service! Lunch set menu- excellent value for money!
Good quality of food
Bad heating system, we sat near the window, it was cold
Quite simply a truly memorable and wonderful meal. Excellent service. Wonderfully presented and delectable food. A very interesting wine list. An absolute gem of a restaurant and will absolutely be back.
The lobster was really good! We enjoyed it! Hope to come back
Everything you’d expect and more. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
We went Saturday before Christmas it was very busy but service was as always excellent. The food was outstanding. My partner and I both had the duckling which was as nice a meal as I’ve had in a year or more would heartily recommend this restaurant
The food was excellent as ever.
Food was absolutely perfect, waitress was very attentive and atmosphere was how it should be for a French restaurant.
I have visited a few times. My view is that the food has become dull. I took the set menu. There is very little choice and my chicken came with nothing. When I asked what is served with it, I was told that it came with a few small vegetables. I do not call a few micro lettuce shoots "a few small vegetables". I ordered pommes dauphinois but it needed some green vegetable which, to be frank, should be part of the dish. There was no balance and for that reason, I scored it low. The cuisine is very good but the set menu had the same main dish as a year ago which was disappointing.
Stunning food in an intimate setting. The chef clearly cares about what he’s serving and is an absolute master! Third visit and will be back again!
Good restaurant in nice area close to city centre. Food was excellent, interior not so well groomed. Personnel very friendly.
We had the set lunch which was delicious and very good value, with a good wine list - what more could you want? Would definitely go again.
