The food was amazing. We had our meals via delivery but it was worth it.
Excellent all around!
Food and service were very lackluster and a loud band was playing at 6:30 pm! you could not hear yourself think!
Food was amazing! We went there for lunch and everything was delicious. It’s a lovely restaurant and the staff is friendly, it took a little longer than I would have liked to give the server our order since it wasn’t busy. The ambiance got a low score because it was a little too cold to sit and really enjoy a meal. It was sunny and bright but it was uncomfortably cool in the restaurant.
75 Main in February is waaaay-different from 75 Main in August... recommend you try both if you're up to different experiences.
Appetizers were great and delicious. I found very pricey the glass of prosecco $16
Was good very nice atmosphere
Creme brulee French toast too expensiveand a disappointment. Either put the cream inside the french toast or burn a crust on top of it to make it creme brulee otherwise it's just custard. and the charcuterie with artitional cheeses they were like three cheeses that weren't artisanal and very ordinary for $29.
The wine list was very expensive. Even by the glass. $21. For a glass of whispering angel.
Great food and cocktails! Reasonably priced for the Hamptons.
Food was good, service was pretty bad- Bartendar had the entire floor and bar. Took about 20 mins for water and 25 for first drinks
It’s lively busy and great food. We always have great time here when we are in the Hamptons. All the dishes we had were tasty and well presented
Great family meal
Favorite local place great happy hour amazing price point
Food was ok.. nothing special. But service was horrible. Nasty people who barely gave a smile
Service was terrible...I guess we should have been honored to eat there. At least the food was good.
Service was terrible. Food was good. However my $18 Gin Gimlet tasted like a cheap margarita. Recommend ordering wine...
Took friends who were visiting from Switzerland and they particularly enjoyed lobster roll and eggs benedict. Drinks were excellent as was service
This is not a 4 star restaurant. Please review all of the 5 star reviews....they give no details...just say “it’s great!” Not really sure these are real reviewers.
I wish I had read the reviews before making my reservation. Brunch food for all 3 of us was pretty bad. How a cook can mess up breakfast is beyond me. We ordered the 1) Spinach Eggs Benedict which we’re so over-peppered that it was inedible. 2) Two egg breakfast with bacon and toast. The eggs were over salted...tough to eat. Bacon looked fine but was a tangled mess and tasted burnt. Could not eat the breakfast. The tasteless toast came plain. Server brought real butter and jelly when requested. 3) Avocado toast on the menu spells out all ingredients except the red onion. My sister dislikes red onion but tried to eat it anyway. There were so many onions that she did not eat the dish. Our plates were barely touched. The server did not ask if we liked our meals or if they were satisfactory. The restaurant is in a nice location and has a nice ambiance. The staff was average at best. I would not return to this restaurant and do not recommend because of the poor cooking staff and just average waitstaff.
Waiter took our order and then tried to serve us a more expensive bottle of wine, and when we pointed this out, he said “well, this one is similar to the one you ordered.”
Noted it was my birthday on the open table reservation and it was not acknowledged.
Food was not the quality I would expect for the price.
Overall, this place is not worth the money at all. The apps were decent and then the meal just was awful. Got the lasagna special and it tasted like ragu sauce with 100 layers of noddles. Wasn't appetizing at all. The server wasn't really into serving us either, didn't have much to say besides taking our order. Very much wouldn't recommend this place.
Love it ! Go every weekend!
Very good service, food and value!
Honestly this place was somewhere I’ve been wanting to go for a long time. Overrated to say the least. We were rushed out and given the check without being asked. The place was empty so no reason for that. The waitress and other staff were not friendly and it seemed like it was everyone first day except for the hostess. They would not give us change when we asked for it. The food wasn’t bad but I left still hungry. They give you a bread basket which is actually like cubes of bread it’s really odd and it wasn’t good. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Disappointed to say the least and sad we choose this location for a celebration.
Despite having a reservation we were seated at what was clearly a makeshift table in the middle of the kitchen traffic. Our waiter made several mistakes with our order from innocuous to problematic. First, we ordered sushi and specified no ginger. The plate came with ginger. Second, one of our party has a garlic allergy and made this clear (multiple times) while ordering and also when food was delivered. Despite this, the wedge salad arrived and we were told it had no garlic. However, the chef then came out and said that there was a pinch of garlic in the dressing. Third. One of our group ordered plain steamed broccoli. However, it came with GARLIC. When we explained that she could not eat garlic because of her husband’s allergy we waited another 20 minutes for steamed spinach but that also came with garlic. Fourth, they brought one of us a skirt steak instead of the sirloin. It took 25 minutes to get the correct dish while the rest of the table ate their food. Then, when the steak did come out it was almost raw despite being ordered medium (and having had the waiter Come back to confirm medium). Then it took another 10 minutes to have it cooked more but it was still too rare. Other dishes did not come with their described sides - the salmon came without vegetable and the skirt steak came without the crispy onions. The “grilled” romaine was not grilled. Just a plate of lettuce. Finally, deserts were not as described. Apple “pie “ was a crumbly tart. The chocolate “crisp” was basically a bad brownie with walnuts. Not once did a manager come by to ask about our situations and despite all of the issues we had we were never even offered a gratis cup of coffee or dessert.
One of the favorites for a last minute lunch or quick dinner. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love their sangria and truffle burger is delicious. Will keep coming back for sure.
Service was terrible. We waited at our table for about 20 minutes until someone came and asked for our drink order. The waitress took our order for food and seemed grumpy and impersonal the whole time...never checked on us to refill drinks and never asked if we wanted dessert. Disappointed.
Really disappointing- we have been coming here every summer for 9 years. The service is great but the food has gotten really peculiar - a hodge podge of cuisines with no real core identity. Prices have also gotten higher, if that’s even possible, for food that is not particularly special.
It was extremely noisy and the service was atrocious. Our mains came out before our appetizer plates were cleared so we ended up having to stack our plates in the middle of the table ourselves so they had room to put our mains down. We had a quarter bottle of white wine left and we asked them to chill it. We asked them to serve the wine for 30 minutes before someone came and told us we finished our wine already, which wasn’t true. Waiters were rude too.
The food was decent though.
Three of us enjoyed lunch at 75 Main during this last official week of summer. Great people watching! Southampton is packed with wealthy vacationers and watching them while seated just inside at 75 Main was a lot of fun! Our reservation was ready & we chose to sit inside (with the front panels open) rather than outside on the sidewalk. Our server was prompt, friendly, & efficient.....service was really quick. We enjoyed the avocado toast which looked Instagram ready, eggs & bacon, and a fabulous Cobb salad. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Wow how do they survive with a bathroom smaller than small
This a restaurant the is very good for large parties. We had a round table for 8 and the distance between tables are spaced so that you are not sitting right next to another table. The food is very good but you must know going in that this restaurant is very very expensive. Three of our guests had hamburgers and two of us even shared a salad. Salmon was priced at 34 dollars and it was a small portion but very good. The bill including a tip came to over 400 dollars. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the service was worthy of five stars.
Always Fab I am Zach!!!!
Nice place with a good brunch.
Pretty damn good. Great place all around. Service was spot on. ... food was excellent
Always a great time. New additions to menu are great. A little pricey but not outrageous. Lively atmosphere. A favorite spot of ours.
Kitchen forgot my date’s cheese and sauce on the burger and the drinks had almost no alcohol in them. Duck was fabulous though. Went on a week night, was very quiet and good service.
It's always good at 75 Main. The food is delicious, the atmosphere lively and the crowd is fun and friendly. And the owner is usually on the scene as well.
Overall excellent experience from being greeted as we walked in, the atmosphere, service, and of course the food was excellent!
First. Drinks - terrible. For $20/drink you should get this right.
My wife ordered a dirty martini and a guy at a table next to use ordered regular martini. Drinks delivered to wrong tables, sitting outside so lighting wasn’t great both my wife and gentlemen next to us found out by sipping their drinks. Drinks were taken back and clearly poured into new glasses - two ways to know this 1. They were returned in under 3 minutes after taking over 20 to originally get them and 2. The olives which were originally on a stick across the glass for both martinis were still floating in the bottom of the newly returned drink to my wife.
While ordering dinner it was explained that there was a dairy allergy. My wife ordered the skirt steak with NO mashed potatoes instead fries, sauce on the side and green beans. She was assured not to worry they “do dairy allergies all the time”. Once the food arrived her steak was over mashed potatoes covered in sauce. It was taken back, re-plated, fries, no sauce no green beans entire under side of steak still covered in mashed potatoes.
We again sent it back and was assured a new one would be made. Asked again for it to be medium - it returned within 5 minutes again only fries, no green beans or sauce and so rare it could not even be cut.
At this point I asked for it to be taken off the bill and for a check so that I could leave and go get dinner, as my own meal of spaghetti carbonara (which was mediocre at best) was barely touched as I waited for my wife’s meal to arrive.
Appetizer of “crisp” calamari was so over cooked it turned to dust upon biting into it...
Best part of meal, removed both entrees off bill.
2 drinks, and two appetizers still $80...spend your money somewhere that doesn’t screw up tequila and sprite and pays even the slightest attention to dietary needs and maybe can socially fake that they care...
