The spirit of Moroccan hospitality is our business and our heritage. Mohammed Chab, our uncle and previous director of the famous Hotel Mamounia, founded the first Al Fassia in Marrakech in 1987. Ten years later, our father Mustapha Chab brought his recipes and vision to the UK. We’ve been inviting diners to share in the warmth and soul of our restaurant ever since.
The food we serve is in the tradition of the historical cities of Morocco. Their simple recipes, glorified with herbs & spices, are cooked in four royal cities; Fez, Meknes, Marrakesh and Rabat.
Rest assured, dining with us at Al Fassia will be an experience unlike any you’ve ever had…
Tagines were very good. Service friendly and efficient. The only quibble is that the beer is very expensive.
Delicious food! , would 100% recommend to visit. The Traditional Bastilla starter is amazing!
Really lovely food, very authentic Moroccan with lots of choice. Service great and friendly. My only mark dropped is there could have been a little more ambience as it was very quiet when we were there. We did dine early at 7pm with only one other table taken so there was a distinct lack of atmosphere.
Restaurant was quiet, food and service was generally excellent, but the dessert was poor
Great service & great food ! We had the Lamb Tagine with prunes & apricots and it was truly a spectacular dish. If you visit Windsor & you don’t eat at Al Fassia, it’s your loss...a truly spectacular meal !
Friendly staff. The Al Fassia couscous is excellent and good value for the huge amount of food you get.
I have visiting Al Fassia for 20 years and in all that time I have never had a bad experience.
Upstairs is really decorated nicely in traditional Morrocan style.
Food very fresh and tasty.
Great night out great food as always . Service was excellent
A great new find for us. Very nice food in a pleasant atmosphere, with attentive service. You will need to allow enough time, as our party of 8 took nearly 3 hours to have 3 courses, but it never felt slow, as we were having fun. Cost a bit more than we usually fork out, but worth it for something both different and very tasty.
Fantastic food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Very good value for money, will definitely go back again
Booked on recommendation. We were not disappointed - chose to sit upstairs which was decorated beautifully. Food was very tasty and good value, the service was attentive and polite.
Really lovely night out with great food and a belly dancer thrown in for good measure
Excellent service, friendly staff. Superb food and wine. A little noisy but that added to the atmosphere.
Were occasional visitors to Windsor and this was our second visit to AlFassia. It did not disappoint. Excellent food and service.
The staff at Al Fassia is really nice and professional. The food is amazing and the ambiance allows you to feel on holiday in a nice place in Morocco.
We're regular visitors to Al Fassia, which says it all really. Great place, service, and food. what more can I say
We had a great meal at Al Fassia, very fresh and great flavours.
Excellent food and service
It was very good food and good service.. but I was not happy when my wife told me that they added £8 as gratuity without asking her.. that should be with our consent..
Very nice restaurant. Delicious food, good service and great entertainment. We went on a Saturday night and there was a belly dancer.
Good food, great atmosphere and very good service. Ideal if you are trying to have a dinner different in Windsor.
Great restaurant & Excellent food. I will book a table again soon. Very friendy staff as well
My husband had not been to Al Fassia before and he loved it.
We sat upstairs it was like private dining!.
Food and service was great,we had our own waiter until a few more guests arrived, he helped us with our choice of food.
We missed the Belly dancer she was on holiday ! So we need to book again just so he can see that !
The staff could not have been better. We tried the sampler and loved everything. The presentation of the food was beautiful too.
We're regular visitors to Al Fassia but have never been for Christmas Day lunch before. We received a warm welcome as always. They had a lovely Christmas Day lunch menu, but were happy for us to mix and match by ordering from the normal, always excellent, menu well - the food and wine never disappoints. The atmosphere was friendly and un-rushed and we had a lovely relaxing time. A great choice for Christmas Day and I'd be very happy to repeat again next year.
it was lovely restaurant and the food was fantastic. We were sitting downstairs, it was pretty cold as they had to keep on opening the hallway door to take food upstairs. Otherwise fantastic.
A oasis of good value quality food in the overpriced tourist desert that is Windsor.
Great selection of delicious food. Lovely decor - and belly dancing experience.
Authentic and very tasty Moroccan food and wine .... lovely staff would definitely visit again .... only small comment was the lighting was a little bright and it was a tad chilly!
Yet again it was a very enjoyable evening. This was the 3rd time our group hast eaten at the restaurant and we've never been disappointed.
Highly recommended - lived up to expectations. Had booked on strength of reviews and was not disappointed. Away from the tourist centre of Windsor but in a busy area of local businesses and eating places. Quite a small restaurant and we were really welcomed right as we arrived and recognised from an on line booking. Attentive but unfussy and relaxed service. No rush to finish. Food excellent and good/fair value for quality. Restaurant was full on a Thursday night with good relaxed atmosphere so was pleased we had booked.
Good food, informal ambience
Both me and my boyfriend rated this meal as one of the best we’ve had in the area. The food tasted amazing and was presented beautifully, we will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.
The staff were very accommodating and offered great pairing suggestions, highly recommended!
Never disappoints! Solid, delicious, homey. Very good.
Always a pleasure dining at Alfassia. The food is delicious in particular the range of tagine dishes. If you are lucky they provide evening entertainment as well.
The staff in Al Fassia are very friendly and well informed and their recommendations have never failed to impress. There were four of us dining, and our unfortunate waiter had to cater for gluten intolerance, a nut allergy and a vegan, which he did patiently, explaining each person's options. I have eaten there several times and tried different options and the food has always been amazing, I would particularly recommend it if you have vegans or vegetarians in your party. Finally, there is a great choice of Moroccan beers and wines, and for those, who like I, have never tried them, you may be in for a pleasant surprise. We bought two bottles of red, on the recommendation of our waiter and we were not disappointed. Al Fascia has the feel of a family restaurant, and after only a few visits, I am welcomed back like an old friend. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Absolutely fantastic, incredibly tasty and authentic Moroccan cuisine. We loved it. A great first meal on our honeymoon!
Welcoming staff who were also very helpful when we were selecting our food and wine
Usually one of our favourites in the neighbourhood but food was not up to past standards so we were a bit disappointed but will give it another try.
