Al Molo brings Italian cuisine from the Emilia Romagna region - voted by Forbes magazine as Italy's greatest gastronomic treasure - together with a modern style. Chef Giuseppe Vannucci combines his origins in traditional Italian cooking with his training in London resulting in a restaurant that brings Italian metropolitan chic to the seaside resort of Weymouth.

Using local produce with the finest Italian ingredients the restaurant prides itself on quality food with a difference in a venue which provides an amazing setting. Whilst dining on excellent cuisine you can enjoy panoramic views of Weymouth Bay and the Jurassic coastline in a relaxed and grand setting.

Respecting the building's origins as part of the pier's bandstand the restaurants decor nods to the past incorporating art deco features together with modern design. You sense a feeling of luxury as you walk through the doors.

Dined here for the first time. We had a problem with the table we were allocated but were moved without any problem. The food was lovely and the service excellent, will definitely return when visiting Weymouth again.

We booked a table on line and last minute as we were down in Weymouth for the day. We were not disappointed with our choice. The food was very nice and the staff were fabulous.

I would go again 100%

Fabulous evening, food was exceptional. The staff were attentive and charming, obviously enjoying their job. Scenery is amazing, looking out over the water to the lights of weymouth. A little more expensive than our average Friday pub night, however worth every penny. Definitely on our special occasion list.

Loverly staff, great food and nice atmosphere. First time diners and found on a “top things to do in Weymouth” website. After dinner we relaxed over by the bar area on the very comfortable sofas.

My boyfriend and I have been to Al Molo a few times now, we came across it by chance one day and we're so glad we did!

It's provided us with some lovely memories and I have no doubt we'll share many more there.

We always feel welcome and get looked after royally.

Thank you Al Molo team!

Wonderful, fun evening with family. Good food, wonderful value as it was whopping Wednesday with half price food, excellent wine, charming staff. We have been here at least twenty times since it opened and have never been disappointed.

A lovely Sunday lunch at Al Molo, with the best Pan Fried Seabass I've ever had - cooked to perfection - and with that rare dessert - one which was just the right balance of flavour, presentation and 'I couldn't make anything this good'. Service was quick and efficient as ever, and this all combined with the great view of the sea from Al Molo's period dining room made for a great lunch.

Friendly welcome, comfortable surroundings, excellent food, chef's own pasta was good, meatballs good, lemon cheesecake could maybe have been a bit more tangy but otherwise still very nice, and, contrary to another person's review, the food portions were really more than large enough. Not the cheapest restaurant on the block but very good value and excellent if you're celebrating a birthday or suchlike.

An excellent and professionally run restaurant. The highlight is the quality of the food which, over several visits, I have found faultless. The wine list is also interesting albeit not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Service excellent . Beautiful views.

We had a fantastic lunch celebrating my birthday. The service was par excellent (thank you Andrea and Connie?) and the food was great. We had a wonderful window table, which made the occasion even more memorable. The restaurant itself is very elegant - Art Deco style. Don't be turned off by the entrance doors, which do not reflect the elegance within.

We were spending a weekend away in Weymouth and wanted somewhere to have a romantic evening dinner. This we found at the Al Molo Italian Restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted and sat in the sumptuous bar area for cocktails over-looking the beach. The waiting staff were very courteous and friendly with some suggestions to have from the menu. We sat at a table in a separate dining area again over-looking the beach. The food was served by very friendly staff. The food was outstanding and very well presented. We would definitely visit again when in Weymouth.

We always enjoy eating at Al Molo, without a doubt the best restaurant in Weymouth. A friendly welcome and attention from the staff at the bar and then at the table. The food off the a la carte menu was well presented and faultless. The bottle of Merlot served with the meal was one of the best we've had at the price. Italian wines continue to surprise us. Altogether a good evening. We will return!

I visited this restaurant alone, and I must admit that I booked it (on a friend's recommendation) because there was a 50% discount on Wednesdays . I was impressed by the building (seafront Art Deco with beautiful views). The restaurant was busy, with Christmas parties and groups of friends celebrating, but the service was immaculate and very fast. I really liked the food. A tasty "amuse bouche" of a truffle cream on a piece of toast, then a starter of deep-fried courgettes and squid with tartare sauce, followed by veal and pork meatballs with large pasta tubes in a tomato sauce, and a side of garlic green beans.
This is a classy Italian restaurant, good for a special occasion. The prices are high, and I was grateful for the discount, but the quality is also high.
