About Al Molo
Al Molo brings Italian cuisine from the Emilia Romagna region - voted by Forbes magazine as Italy's greatest gastronomic treasure - together with a modern style. Chef Giuseppe Vannucci combines his origins in traditional Italian cooking with his training in London resulting in a restaurant that brings Italian metropolitan chic to the seaside resort of Weymouth.
Using local produce with the finest Italian ingredients the restaurant prides itself on quality food with a difference in a venue which provides an amazing setting. Whilst dining on excellent cuisine you can enjoy panoramic views of Weymouth Bay and the Jurassic coastline in a relaxed and grand setting.
Respecting the building's origins as part of the pier's bandstand the restaurants decor nods to the past incorporating art deco features together with modern design. You sense a feeling of luxury as you walk through the doors.

Al Molo Ratings and Reviews
We went as a family (the boys are 13 and 10) and not too sure how it would go. The staff could not have been nicer - really friendly to the children without being condescending and very helpful. The food was really good and the views were fabulous - we were basically sitting almost on the sea! Not the cheapest of restaurants but worth it for a special occasion. A really lovely evening, thoroughly recommended.
We went back to Al Molo's to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We had a great welcome from all of the staff, nice attention to details. As it was Guy Fawkes night I had asked if we could have a table to see the fireworks- I don't think that we could have have a table with a better view. Food was really lovely- as a non meat eater it was wonderful to have several choices on the menu.
Such a lovely way to spend our Anniversary- Thank you
Friendly, efficient service. Good choice of food on their special Wednesday evening menu. Busy but calm atmosphere, plenty of staff. Lovely food although a shame that one steak was very tough. Given free desert to compensate so quite happy with that. Excellent waitress, thank you (love the plaits)!
The view from the restaurant was wonderful, the theme was a subtle nod to the seaside location and Italian influences. The food was served very quickly, was fresh and delicious. The waitresses were attentive but you didn’t feel rushed, they always made sure we had enough drinks and were happy but didn’t pester us.
Impeccable service, delicious food and all served against a beautiful sea view. If only I lived closer this would be a go to restaurant for special occasions. The menu is varied and interesting. My scallops were perfectly cooked. There was a range of people eating, from casual diners to families and couples enjoying a special date. All were treated with the same lovely, warm service that was unobtrusive but never left you wanting.
I went to al molo for my wedding anniversary. I had asked if the restaurant could upgrade my table and supply a anniversary balloon and a bottle of prosecco on ice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they placed us on a great table and made it a night to remember. The efforts were above and beyond. Thank you Al Molo!
This Italian fine dining, not your average chain style Italian. A delicious meal that was served by very nice attentive staff. Food was cooked well and very tasty. Wine list had something for all budgets. Book a table with a sea view if you can. Can't wait to go back .
Went for my partner's birthday. Greeted warmly sat in a nice spot. Waiter was ultra professional and nothing was too much trouble for him, Mario I believe.
Our only complaint was the 2 couples sat near to us which is no fault of the restaurant's.
There is a premium price attached to this restaurant but that's because you get premium food and premium service that you will not get anywhere else.
The steak was amazing and the Semifroddo dessert.
I really liked how there was space - the owners could have fit another 6 tables in the room we were in but they have gone for quality and ambience over quantity which is fantastic.
Really impressed and if we go to Weymouth again I guarantee Al Molo will be on our to do list.
Excellent restaurant – service, menu, the meal and the atmosphere - added too by its position, giving a lovely view across Weymouth bay. We visited twice last week. After being so impressed with our first visit – we just had to book again. Everything lives up to their description of “Fine Dining”. A first class experience and lovely evenings out – thank you.
