Another really excellent dining experience at Al Molo, Friendly and attentive staff and wonderful food and drink, all overlooking the sparkling sea! Who could ask fore more. I love the place!
Well impressed once we got inside , don’t let the entrance put you off. Food was very good , on the pricey side but well worth it. Would definitely visit again.
Exceeded our expectations. The staff were polite, attentive and knowledgeable of dishes on the menu. The food was fantastic, looked and tasted amazing. We also had such a lovely view of the beach while we were eating. We were staying in Weymouth for a couple days and chose to dine there for my partners birthday, however we would gladly make the hour+ drive to eat here again for a date night or special occasion. Al Molo gets a double thumbs up from us!
Excellent food and service as usual on a beautiful sunny evening with views across the sea. What more could you wish for?
My husbands favourite restaurant so took him there as a retirement celebration. The free salmon mouse canapé was delicious as was the prawn and scallop risotto, mackerel pate and the salmon. The cabbage parcels were too chewy, though the cheese very tasty. We will be going again as soon as we have the chance...
We had another wonderful meal.
We come here every year for our Anniversary meal because the food is always excellent. The staff are happy, kind, informative and very helpful. You always feel very welcome and a valued customer. Thank you for always making our Anniversary special!
We had a lovely table overlooking the bay. The food and wine were delicious. Service excellent and the whole evening was really special. Each course was so good. I especially recommend the turbot with celeriac which was so tasty and beautifully cooked. My tiramisu for dessert was sublime.
Came here for our wedding anniversary meal. Service was very good, attentive but not too overbearing. Food was of a very high standard and the wine list was reasonable. I would recommend to a friend and will revisit when in the area again.
Food tasted good but portions were very small and it was quite expensive
Very friendly staff. Great views over coast. Lovely food. Great choice
Lovely choice for anniversary dinner. Situation, food, ambience all good.
Amazing food, VFM.......waitress very confident, knowledgeable, attentive but not over bearing in any way.
Only critique would have to be the decor. Water marks on ceiling in 2 places where we were sitting. Handrail held together at the top with duck tape, potential H&S in the making. Wooden rail at top of stairs missing. Outside of building very tired, possibly due to the water front position?
Overall, would definitely go back due to the amazing food and service.
The food & service was excellent. The young lady that served us was friendly & chatty & nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely recommend Al Molo to my friend & family.
Great restaurant, wonderful views and food to much . Highly recommended!
Great sea views. Don't be put off by the buckets and spades on sale by the entrance. Great service and great food. The lunch special menu is very good and great value at £13.50 for two courses or and extra £5 for three courses.
Fabulous food and great service, with fantastic views A++++++++++
Very beautiful setting but food was overpriced and service was poor (too much attention ... felt worse than too little attention!)
Really lovely meal. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. Will be back.
An amazing meal with great service and ambience to match!!
We are frequent visitors to family living in Weymouth and enjoy eating out on occasions. This is probably the best restaurant we’ve been to in Weymouth in over 40 years of visiting. The Italian food was very authentic and well prepared. The first class service was polite and unobtrusive. And the sommelier recommended one of the best Umbrian wines we have experienced. In fact their wines are available to purchase at retail prices and we took a few bottles with us when we left.
We had a window table and enjoyed excellent views back along Weymouth Bay.
Having visited Italy on many occasions for business and vacation we were pleased to find genuinely authentic Italian dishes served in the UK. Not sure why we hadn’t discovered this place before but we will certainly be back.
Great food, wonderful views out across the sea. Started with a really interesting amuse-bouche, whipped Gorgonzola, a rice cracker and a coffee froth, you wouldn't think it would work, but it did, lovely. Fresh, perfectly cooked calamari, and then a great tasting risotto. Lovely house white, great service. Would definately recommend.
Always a pleasure to come to this restaurant, especially on a sunny day, with the wraparound sea views it is a little like sitting on board a cruise liner. The kind staff attempted to accommodate my veganism. My mother's favourite restaurant.
Dined twice at Al Moro during our five day visit to Weymouth.
Very good value, lovely sea view.
Excellent food service and location
Highly recommended and will definitely be back when we visit Weymouth
Great food, great location and great service. Had a very enjoyable evening and would recommend a visit though book early!
Wow, what a great place, great food, great views and lovely staff - made our wedding Anniversary very special.
We were guests of a neighbour thanking us for helping her
Excellent food, service ; our waitress was particularly conscientious and enthusiastic, thank you!
Good varied menu. Appreciated the appetiser and bread ( & balsamic vinegar/oil).
Shame there is very limited parking nearby; we had to park quite a long way away and walk. It was worth the inconvenience though!
Very enjoyable evening, thank you.
Amazing food, wonderful service. Child-friendly as well which was perfect for us (we have a 5 year old). Highly recommended.
Had been recommended by the B&B (Ashmira) where we were staying in Weymouth. The food at Al Molo was excellent. It isn't a huge menu, but everything was freshly made and tasty. My wife had Turbot and I had Lamb Raviolli with a gorgonzola and walnut sauce - delicious.
Excellent waitress, very friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Great wine with recommendations for each course. Lovely treat
A very good find for a group of us on holiday with a birthday to celebrate. The food, ambience and setting were wonderful, and the waitress was incredibly helpful. All the staff were very friendly.
Lovely meal with great selection of wines and impeccable service. The views are excellent and its well worth a visit. We will be back.
A good experience we will definitely return for the view as well as the food.
Great find, one of best seafood pastas I have eaten. Booked a table of 8 the day before, accommodated changing the booking to half an hour later as well because of a change of plans throughout the day.
Chef noticed the cheesecake base was hard to break & offered to remove from the bill without us even mentioning.
Great place & amazing service. Would definitely recommend and go back!
Portion sizes are tiny, be prepared to have to order three courses. Slow service experienced and didnt think it was good value for money. Shame as detracted from our engagement earlier in the day.
Fantastic resturant with a beautiful view of the sea.
Could have been on the Amalfi Coast. Excellent cuisine. A well designed menu that draws from the best of the area: lamb ravioli with gorgonzola, Dorset fresh crab with avocado mousse, home made ricotta with heritage beetroot, tallegio wrapped in black cabbage, fresh sea bream. Pancotta was not as delicate or tasty as it could be. Interesting historic building with great views
We always have a lovely meal, and a lovely atmosphere
