Environment and ambience beautiful. Service was attentive and good but at times slow. Wine list was very good. Food was good but not fantastic. Not a single dish wows. Disappointing considering it’s reputation. Not deserving of 3 stars. There are many other 1 and 2 stars restaurant which are better.
What an amazing food experience!!! Everything was great, fantastic location, the food was just out of the world and the service was even better !!! We will be back very soon and we highly recommended this place to everybody !!
Superb food, friendly, efficient service, tragic choice of music.
Had better food for much less
We had the 3-course lunch menu with two glasses of wine each (at 70 pounds each) for the weekday menu which is excellent value for quality of food and service with amuse-bouches and other inter-course delicasies, it is no surprise it holds 3 Michelin stars! The service was impeccable and the food superb; though we had the value lunch, many were clearly enjoying the premium offers; the foodie servers were professional, engaging and genuinely interested in our enjoyment and comments. We will return!
Booked in for my husbands birthday and had the lunch time menu. Initially we thought we would not be 'satisfied' with the 3 courses (if they were going to be little plates). But, we were pleasantly surprised with the 'extras' that come along with the meal. Wait staff were very attentive, and the ambience was relaxed, despite the restaurant being quite full, the noise levels were just right.
Would recommend for any special occasion.
Always maintain high standards well done. A compliment to all staff.
Wonderful experience and food. Kids loved it and service was top notch. Recommend for everyone!
A special occasion restaurant that’s delightful in ambience and impeccable in service and personal attentiveness. Being with my sons was no bother for the restaurant, who made every effort to attend to our needs. The food was simply outstanding - we went for both the tasting
menu and the four course options and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend for those seeking discerning quality in fine French food.
Can’t say that this restaurant value its money. Food is nice, but not like three Michelin star, nothing was surprisingly delicious. Very pricey. Service is very good, ambience is quite ordinary
it is good ，but no best～
Went back after several years. The food was great but didn’t wow us like the first time
Foods are good but not so impressive. Overall is positive! Will come back for a-la-Carte
The best restaurant I have ever been in everything was superb
We loved it there and will be going again when next in London
Superb food all excellent
Great food at acceptable price.
Still the best in town.
Excellent meal and service from the staff at the restaurant and starting with champagne. Special mention for Fabien et Maxim
Very good, but too much selling optional extras (eg. Cheese, Port and Champagne) which was not included in the menu. This can be slightly awkward for both parties when it's a business lunch. Please include all the extras in the set menu.
This is our favorite London restaurant, and we try to dine here whenever we are fortunate
enough to find ourselves in the city. No detail is ever overlooked. The food is exquisitely
prepared and delicious. The staff is charming, attentive and unobtrusive.
Fabulous - nothing else to say - certainly worth of the 3* tag
poor service to be honest， I have my master card but the machine did not go through. the manager told me to walk up to a petrol station to get cash from a cash machine. while the cash machine got trouble too.
finally they got the credit card machine from the hotel to solve the problem.
i guess they could have done it in the first place to save me from walking 10mins in the freezing.
lovely lunch to celebrate our anniversary
Brilliant seasonal lunch menu with 3 delicious courses.
Service was excellent throughout and staff very attentive although we did feel rushed between each course despite the restaurant, at times, not being particularly busy.
My recent lunch experience @ Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester was wonderful again. The lunch menue is recommended though the other menues available are also delicious. The service is excellent and you'll look forward to your next visit.
Food was very good. The service was good but at a restaurant of this level it should be better.
Great food and 5 star service can’t wait to go back
The standard of this restaurant is always good to reminisce and remember. The service of the staff has been outstanding as always
Enjoyed the night, staff were great, the dishes on the tasting menu were well executed but given the number of michelin stars and the price tag i expected them to be a bit better, really don't like that fois grois was on the menu, left a bad taste in my mouth... staff were very good though and did offer an alternative. Wasn't amazed but i can appreciate that the ingredients were outstanding and the food was perfectly cooked...
This is my 3rd time in Alain Duccasse, it is fantastic experience as always.
Simply Outstanding in every way food , service, ambiance.... amazing
A delicious meal with lots of surprises. The service is very discrete and professional. The room is wonderfully calm even when it's full as it was today. There is a lot of space between the tables. A great experience from the moment we arrived until we left having eaten loads delicious chocolates and macarons with our coffee.
The chef needs to try other Michelin star restaurants. Cannot believe this place is so highly rated. Very sub par. Nothing special about it. Not sure how this place ever earned its stars. If you’re looking for an amazing meal - go to Core by Clare Smyth instead.
Highly anticipated but came away underwhelmed. The cuisine is generally of a very good standard but not 3* standard by any stretch. Technically fine with superb ingredients but lacking flair. Service friendly and welcoming but at times weirdly inept. Cutlery and a menu dropped on my lap. Inability to remember my guest doesn’t drink alcohol as advised at the start of the meal. Not remembering who ordered what when delivering dishes. Starters took over 30 minutes to materialise after the amuse bouche. Wayward and unfocused. Baffling
Exquisite, as always. Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester takes the fine dining experience to a whole new level. You are made to feel special every time and the food is just out of this world.
The environment is great, and the service is excellent. We chosed the taste menu, the challenge for us is we are not big fan of cheese.
Always excellent! The food, service and decor are all excellent. A special place for any special occasion or just enjoying the company of good friends.
I had a fabulous dining experience at Alain Ducasse. Delicious food, truly works of art, stunning presentation and welcoming, friendly and knowledge staff.
Spicy & Sweet desert was really not my taste.
Service was spectacular, but the food could be better for a 3 Michelin stars restaurant.
Good recommendation of wine.
