Had lunch sat outside with a friend. Can’t fault the food or value (£12:50 for 2 courses). Would definitely visit again.
Nice place. Our server was very nice and attentive, but not to the point of annoyance. Food was quite nice, but could probably be better. But overall it was a good experience. I would eat here again.
WE ARRRIVED AND PUT ON THE WRONG TABLE. ORDERED MIXED SALAD TO START AND BROUGHT A GREEN SIDE SALAD..ORDERED FISH AND RETURNED TO SAY THAT THERE WAS NONE LEFT. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Not expensive by any means. We have dined elsewhere and paid more but usually end up disappointed in one day it another, and wishing we had used the shed instead. Cannot fault this restaurant. Food is always perfect. Wine is s little pricy but not enough to out us off going. We tend to visit at least once every other month, for special occasions or a great Sunday lunch
We had a rare Friday afternoon off and were able to take advantage of the two course lunch menu. The meal was exceptionally tasty particularly for the price.
We had a Gavi wine which was equally delicious and we were treated very well by the waiters and waitresses . We would highly recommend.
Great lunchtime venue and good menu . Great service and ambience
Rump of Lamb good but Beef was fatty. Mistake on the Wine price charged.
Albert's Shed is in a lovely location and is a beautifully appointed building with indoor and outdoor seating. My party of two sat outdoors, where a glass roof and electric heater lamps kept us perfectly warm. Sitting outside it was very lively as facing a busy outdoor bar, which was entertaining. The service was very good throughout our meal: appetisers were quite nice but the best part was the starters (excellent halloumi and guacamole, and really nice scallops) and the mains (lovely monkfish and seabass fillet). All the food was beautifully cooked and presented. Really enjoyed it .
Been here many times and the quality of food, the choice, and the price, have always been very good
It was my dad’s birthday so thought I’d treat him to a nice lunch. Not sure if you were short staffed but one young girl was rushed off her feet.
We ordered a make your own pizza for our youngest member of the party. He made it up but we couldn’t find a member of staff to cook it. We had eaten our mains by the time it came back to the table and so he had sat there watching and nibbling from our plates which ended in him also not eating his own.
Also, I ordered some oysters to come with the starter but they didn’t arrive! They weren’t on the bill and so not damage done but would’ve liked them!
Good venue, but food average and service poor. Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
Great afternoon here, great food and child friendly. Will return.
Another fantastic experience. Food was superb and staff were excellent. There was a slight delay to our desserts due to a problem in the kitchen. The manageress was proactive and came and told us, without us having to say anything and she apologised profusely. Then comp’d the desserts as well. Truly the sign of a top notch restaurant - dealing with minor problems before they become major!
Went for the first time for a birthday, it was a Saturday evening so best to book as we did. Lovely heated seating area outside perfect for summer. Food was lovely
Gorgeous food lovely place will definitely come back, great value, really nice staff,
We regularly dine at Alberts Shed & always find the staff friendly & helpful. Can't fault the food it's delicious & beautifully presented. Great atmosphere for an enjoyable lunchtime get together with friends.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing chateaubriand and friendly staff
The restaurant has a lovely welcoming feel, the staff were great - couldn’t fault the service. Food was amazing! Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Took my daughter and granddaughter after a shopping trip. Went for the lunchtime special menu which finishes at 1800.Great value and great choice for £12 50 ppi.
As good as always! ! Has never failed in all the years we have been going! !
I dine at Albert’s quite regularly and often recommend it to my friends and family. I haven’t been disappointed yet and always look forward to great food, amazing drinks and outstanding customer service!
This was my second visit to Albert Shed on Mothers Day we were not aware of the set 3 course menu this was a slight problem as we never eat 3 course when we go out. The food was very good the staff where great, they gave our deserts to our children (6 and 9) which a positive move. We enjoyed our visit.
Great atmosphere for Mother’s Day. Nice friendly waiters, good choice of items on breakfast menu. Good value. A very good time was had by all.
Really good food and service. Good price for the quality of food and it felt like a proper restaurant. I was surprised that it was as fancy as it was. I’d definately recommend. Thanks for a lovely evening! 😄
Overall, it's a great location, and is a good restaurant, but the service is inconsistent, depending entirely on each individual in the team. All credit, however, to Hayley in Front of House, who was outstanding.
Great food and service really lovely waiter Jack. Exce manage too, cared for our every need. Shame the table next to us appeared to have drinking before hand and exceptionally loud and language totally inappropriate. Thankfully they left by the time we got served our mains, otherwise we couldn't hear ourselves
Great food and service in a friendly ambience. Great location.
Great food & great service by the gentleman with the pony tail (sorry didn’t catch his name)
Fabulous place! Great service!!! Food really good! My only one criticism would be that the portion sizes are slightly too small! The chateau Briand at £25 each was a very small amount!!
But absolutely loved everything else! Venison was delicious!!!
Would definitely return!
We went for my son's 18th birthday on a Friday night .The atmosphere was so nice and relaxed, food was amazing and the waiter who served us was so helpful and really knew the menu well helping us to select our meals .
Always enjoy visiting this restaurant. Atmosphere and location are brilliant. Food is lovely and staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. Vibrant and enjoyable.
I chose Traditional Fish and Chips from the menu. It was £14 and largely tasteless. It was served with chunky chips Tatare sauce and mushy peas.
The fish itself was very large but was not cooked properly. I had to dispatch all the batter as it contained a large amount of fluid and this left very little fish I would like to eat.
I am a bit of a fish and chip buff and this wouldnt get out of my bottom two. The other being a restaurant close to Niagara Falls.
Won’t go back.
Having said this my eat8ng companions had perfectly satisfactory meals and the waitress was lovely.
Good canalside location in Castlefield, Manchester.
Lunch menu, good variety and very good value.
Birthday, was very quiet but was early and was a Tuesday. Our waitress went home because it was so quiet but she explained and told us who would be looking after us
Very helpful staff, nice food. Very quiet due to the time we went.
Albert’s Shed was again phenomenal! It was our anniversary I cannot think of better place to celebrate it! Food was straight from heaven and we are looking forward to visit them again! We got all the attention and also free prosecco just for our special day!
The food was delicious as always, the only thing I could complain about on our recent visit was the food needed to be warmer. Everything else was very good as always.
Fabulously tasty food and healthy portions to go with it
The food was delicious, I had the special monkfish. The start of a great night.
First time st Alberts shed , had 2 for £12 , Food was amazing and service was very good and helpful
