Great staff, lovely atmosphere and amazing food - well presented and delicious. Special thanks to the staff for making our experience so special with little touches as it was my friends birthday. Definitely be back

Experience here has been consistently good, & my guest was impressed. Had to remind them we had ordered wine after main course arrived before wine did. Restaurant not exceptionally busy so no obvious reason for this oversight.

Overall very good. Two meals were not placed on the order which meant two people waiting until the rest of us had nearly finished. We were not charged for these meals and the two people got a free drink, but nonetheless a bit of a spoiler.
The food was good, waitress helpful and pleasant and the ambiance was enjoyable.

5 of us visited for the bottomless brunch, you would think they had never done this before! Bearing in mind its fot 90mins, it took 15 mins before they took our order, another 15 minutes before we got our first drink (supposed to be bottomless). We had to ask for a drink each time after sitting with empty glasses. Food order finally came out and they had it wrong! All in all a very poor experience....such a shame as the food was good. Lots of staff around, just not doing much.

Great service and delicious, well presented food. Good value lunch menu was still available at 5.15, a pleasant surprise. Weather was dark and wet but twinkling outside lights and heaters and passing metro trains made the for an interesting night time view. I expect this is even better in daylight overlooking the canal. Decor is interesting. Quiet with calm ambience.

Went in for Sunday dinner and it came cold, so we sent it back and it returned still cold.

When asked about certain elements of the dinner, IE “Yorkshire pudding” they are made in the day and just placed cold on top of the dinner at the end.

Not good

We went for an anniversary meal and had a lovely meal. The restaurant was busy but the kitchen coped well and the food wasn't delayed but we also didn't feel rushed. The staff were very nice and on discovering that we were there for a special occasion we were each given a complimentary glass of prosecco. A very nice experience and we will definitely be returning.

The service was a little slow and hard to get somebodies attention at time. The food was good however the fillet steak was quite burnt (although it was requested medium to well done) but was black on top. Other than that i nice meal and food was as expected.

We had a brilliant meal, the food was delicious, my husband really enjoyed the tomahawk pork chop and my sea bass was perfection. We would recommend your restaurant.

Me and my husband went to Alberts Shed yesterday 10/11/19 to celebrate our wedding Anniversary.
As per usual on arrival the atmosphere was buzzing.

We where shown to our table promptly and was given the menu.
As it was our anniversary we where given a complementary glass of Prosecco which was a lovely gesture.

All our food was delicious and is very reasonably priced.

I normally go to Alberts Worsley where the food is also delicious because it is closer to where I live, but if we go to Manchester we always go to Alberts Shed.

If you are looking for somewhere where they serve delicious food, the service is excellent and is reasonably priced look no further Alberts Shed or Alberts Worsley is the place to book.

You won’t be disappointed.
Mrs Karen Hunt.

We caught the back end of the lunch deal, so the restaurant was very quiet (the only reason the ambience score was low). The food was excellent - highly recommend the duck leg - and the staff were very friendly. We were there for a birthday meal and the staff were very helpful with the cake etc. Only one negative: a single glass of wine was ordered but never arrived, but it was removed from the bill and the service charge too

I would recommend as we’ve been before with no probs. Do not go on a Sunday night though. We went to celebrate my son’s 21st at 7:30pm on a Sunday, having booked weeks ago. Got there at 7:20 to be told, ‘Your table isn’t ready because you’re early.’ Had to wait ages for drinks and each time we re-ordered drinks we had to follow up again only to find they were sat on the bar with the ice having melted. I asked if they were short staffed and was told they were - apparently due to a large number of walk ins at lunch. Not my fault and it was no longer lunch so had staff been brought in early to cover and then gone home? Toilets in a poor state but when I mentioned this was told that the broken soap dispenser just needed to have its front clipped on - is that my job? Told that only one toilet was broken and others had stiff flushers - no reason for all tissue all over the floors of cubicles. Food was fabulous - as always- but what should have been a special occasion was somewhat spoiled. My mother who was discharged from hospital on Friday and needs to keep her fluids up became anxious when her drinks didn’t come and so had to take her home before we could have dessert. All in all - not the evening we hoped for.

The decor was very BROWN. And a bit tired. Could have been cleaner too - very Manchester !! ( meaning not quite as sophisticated, or having the attention to detail as London)

Very poor service had to wait 15 mins at the door then the service overall was very poor.
Had left notes on the bookings for a surprise but the team failed to read and act on the notes this was very disappointing as this was suppose to be a surprise for a birthday.
Had to wait 20 min for drinks did ask to speak to a manager but the response I got was oh sorry we forgot to read the notes.

Normally enjoy eating here but the food let it down this time. Ordered a salad for main and half the stuff advertised on the menu wasn’t in it. And the price was 13.50 for it. Considering it was deadly quiet I’d expect better. Another table was complaining also. Couldn’t fault the service and friendliness of the waiting staff. They dealt with our complaints well but would have expected more discount considering.

Food was good, just a longer than usual wait between courses, nearly an hour after our starter was cleared until our mains arrived.
Was fairly busy though but noticed other tables were getting served much quicker by their host waiter than ours.

Hadn’t been to Albert’s Shed for over 10 years since moving away from Manchester. Had been one of my favourite restaurants but the experience didn’t fully live up to memory of it. Felt as though it could do with some money spending on the place. Staff were pleasant albeit we did have to ask for the bill numerous times before it came. Food was good and still a lovely location.

This was our second time visiting Albert’s Shed in Castlefeild. We were in a group of 4. On sitting at our table , we noticed that there was lipstick marks on a glass on the table. We all ordered starters, but when mine arrived, it was covered in finely chopped raw red onion, which I can’t stand and was not in the description on the menu. The other 3 had no problems. The mains were absolutely delicious. Can not fault at all. Service was a little slow, but the Shed was very busy as it was a Saturday night we we visited. Value was very good. 4x starters & mains, plus drinks, £140. £35 per person!

We had a table in a corner under a speaker so although the restaurant has a good atmosphere it was difficult to hear each other without shouting. This spoilt the experience.
The main courses were nice but garlic bread with tomato was very dry and burnt. The mash potato was also stodgy. There was insufficient vegetable choice on menu. Overall food was disappointing.
Staff very friendly and helpful, probably best thing about visit.
Would go again but be careful about what we order.
