Nice but abit over priced not much on the plate
Lovely atmosphere service had to keep waiting for the waiter and getting up to get attention!
I love coming here , however I was disappointed with the halloumi starter it was the more the size of a Canapé !! Also I do not want to see one of your waiters who was waiting by the food area yawning like a hippopotamus it wasn’t even a stifled yawn a couple of times .. sorry had to mention because I always enjoy the food and drinks here and the waiters need to take a note from the girls ... smile 😊
The food and ambiance was excellent and lively. The service and willingness of the staff to please was exceptional. As two 65 + year old ladies our experience was good.
Great night in alberts lovely place, lovely food, lovely staff can’t fault the place.
Been to all three Alberts and this one was disappointing. Went on a Saturday evening arrive 10 mins early and told we would be advised when table ready. We were standing near the front and after 25 mins asked was our table ready and it was - the girl completely forgot about us.
Menu the same as the other two Alberts, so, same old, same old - menus not changed much in years. Waited ages to be served - had to ask was there a specials and had to wait. Food ok - but defiantly won’t be returning to Worley - too big and not enough staff.
Busy Saturday night, food was excellent and staff friendly and attentive
service was very slow, nobody came to check on us. Waited around 15 mins for our drinks order to be taken and then again for our bill. Nobody asked us anything we always had to prompt them.
Great service, great good. Menu was great, waitress was always there for whatever we needed.

Good creative menu with mix of cuisine. Fantastic atmosphere. Service a little slow but we weren’t in a rush. Lovely staff! Fair price. Would visit again as it’s just down the road.
Fab evening, our waitress was fantastic and she was hilarious!
I have a nut allergy and she put me right at ease with my order!
Food was delicious, great range as we all have different tastes so worked out great!

Food was not up to the normal standard which we presumed was because it was so busy
Delicious seafood curry, every component of it cooked perfectly and the taste was as good as an authentic Thai curry. The lamb kofta starter was also very tasty.
After previous good visits this was disappointing. Main course wife wanted not available. Menu generally not attractive. After meal were told coffee machine was broken! I notice that previous reviews had the same problem. Is the management not up to scratch? Hope things improve.
Thank you for your review, we have experienced issues with our coffee machine as it completely broke was we were unable to mend it, but I am delighted to say that that we now have a new machine. We are also currently developing new menus which will be due to be launched by the start of April, Karen
Easy to get to , plenty of parking, and great food drink & service waiting
great veggie option on the lunch menu, great service, great value for money (i won a 50% off dining for 2 in Jan or Feb voucher in my Alberts xmas cracker on our works lunch in December)
Lunch time 2 courses for £12.50 excellent value good choice of dishes. Despite being very busy, service was quick and food was of a good standard. Will definitely return .
I usually have the Fish Chips & peas, excellent, however I chose the Sirloin, won't do that again, there is a fine line between "full flavour steak with a firm texture" & tough? Mine was tough & expensive for the small piece I had (£19)

As usual the service and good were excellent considering it was a very busy lunchtime service. Most enjoyable
Had a really lovely afternoon, food lovely & staff very friendly, nice relaxing restaurant love this place never fails to please me.
The evening was not great. We are regular diners at Alberts but this had to be our worst experience to date.
Most of what we ordered we were later told was not available. Then when offered alternatives we were told there wasn’t enough for the 4 people who ordered it. Then we were told by yet another waiter there was another alternative which the waitress had told us wasn’t on the menu on a Sunday. Confused?? We certainly were.
The waitress then became very off hand with us. This wasn’t our fault as we ordered off the main Sunday menu. The constant interruptions just spoilt our conversations and the evening as a whole. Being a very busy night running out of food is just not acceptable. No compensation or apology was offered until I complained at the desk as we were leaving. Been going to Alberts in Didsbury and Worsley for many years so I know this wasn’t a true representation of their usual standards.

I have been to alberts plenty of time and never had a bad experience, although on this occasion for my sisters 17th birthday breakfast with family was far from any of my other experiences.
Waiting 25 minutes for someone to bring menus over - although apologies were made this still isn’t acceptable
The wait for food was also about 35 - 40 minutes which everyone’s meal arrived cold - complainants made again and apologies made.
Side orders missing pots of tea not turning up all coffee machines down. This was hardly a pleasant experience.
I have always loved alberts food so I know I will be back although family members advised it’s not somewhere they would visit again.

Really great food and service. It was a bit noisy with other parties and background music but overall a lovely evening.
Very poor on Saturday 15th February
Ordered asparagus and crispy duck from the specials menu but received crispy duck EGG due to typing error. I hate egg.
We were eating at 2pm on the lunch menu. I would have expected the error to have been brought to the attention of serving staff by this point. Long wait time between courses. Posh fish and chips had more coating than fish and chicken pasta dish was a large portion of pasta that was far too rich with cream and oil and only a tiny portion of chicken.
Worsley has definitely gone down in terms of dining experience since the opening of Standish

10000% recommend Albert’s Worsley, me and my boyfriend come here all the time and wouldn’t go anywhere else, by far the best Albert’s I’ve been to out of them all. The food and the service you receive is just all round amazing, they make sure you feel comfortable and looked after the whole time you’re with them. I also left my bag behind on Valentine’s Day and they was super helpful and kept it safe for me, couldn’t thank them enough. Will definitely return!!
I had to ask for the same drink 3 times as the waiter kept forgetting, I was waiting 20 minutes for one drink! Other than that the food was lovely, portion sizes were pretty small though.

the food is always spot on, the service is that of a high end city centre restaurant (or at least it always has been when ive been there) with very reasonable prices and fantastic cocktail menu.
Steak was tough and disappointed we couldn’t have coffee but waiter was friendly and we had a good time.

A little bit disappointed, although it was busy I would have expected that when arriving at 1.15 pm they would not have run out of "soup of the day" or bottled tap water for the table. Food was very good apart from the rock hard green beans and the slight old frying oil taste on the chunky chips.

My drinks order was wrong no soup available the coffee machine was out of order the steak and fries was ok but I have had better the best think was the pudding

Great food. My husband had the Steak Diane from the specials menu and said it was the best he’d ever had.
Service was good. The restaurant was busy but I’d always recommend you book. You can often book on the day if it’s mid week you want.
Would thoroughly recommend.
Our server Massimo was fantastic and couldnt do enough for us and our 1 week old daughter. Although there wasnt much done about the drunk lady who was very loud at the bar. We had 3 children with us and it wasn't nice for them to see.
