I was very surprised that the croutons for the salad were from a package rather than being made in the restaurant. The pasta was swimming in oil and not well prepared. The waiter was sweet but very inattentive. He never checked on refilling wine and was very distracted.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews. I'm sorry to say my experience was just ok. The pomodoro sauce was extremely thick and smothered everything on the plate. This may have been ok had it been flavorful. I ordered the ossobuco and could only taste the sauce which is very unfortunate. I wish we could say we would give it a second chance but I just don't think it will happen.

Food was amazing, along with the service!! Only reason for low ambiance score is because of having to eat outside (covid)! Otherwise, it was a perfect dinner night out!!!!

I booked the latest which was the last dinner reservation for a birthday dinner of two. By the time we got there there was only one other party and it was pretty quiet. The music they were playing was good and the food was good, the service was excellent as well. Had a good time here and will be coming back.

Fantastic little gem tucked away near other restaurants in Torrance that cannot be compared! Outdoor experience surpassed expectations and catered to my special request... which nowadays - who does that?!? Chef Mike... what a treat! This time our experience was a 10. The chef/owner helped us ordering what he thought we would like from wine to appetizers to entree and finally the amazing desserts. I think the service was outstanding.

I had the special Mexican sea bass with tomatoes, capers and green olives, it was fantastic! My husband d the veal chop, also very good! The outside patio was enclosed and quite comfortable.

A group of friends came here on a Friday night. I was able to reserve via Open table for a group of 10 to celebrate 3 bdays. Food was amazing! Service was exceptional with very friendly staff. They have a good size sitting outdoor area set up with a great ambiance. Best Italian restaurant in Southbay.

Food was excellent. But I went there for my birthday. Mentioned it on reservation, told waiter 2 times and it was totally ignored. So we went for dessert at Starbucks after dinner.

We had a great experience here! Came for my brother’s 10th wedding anniversary. I read good reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Michael took care of us and made the night! Was very attentive, funny and personable. We definitely want to come back when they open indoor dining again. Looks really cool inside.

This is a true local place with a fabulous collection of steaks and pasta. The Filet Mignon is a must for any first timer, but beware you might sleep like a rock afterwards!

Wedding Anniversary

Went early on a quiet Tuesday. Had the bolognese and meatballs. Could have done without the meatballs. The grilled veal chop is my favorite. Should have ordered that.

Great food at reasonable prices. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic, it feels like Italy inside!!!

This place is a hidden gem you'd never notice just driving by. The interior is nicely designed to look like you're dining in Italy, the service is attentive and polite, and the food is consistently good.

I took my Mom to Aliotta’s for her first time tonight. She said it was the BEST bolognese she has ever had! I had the gigli; fabulous!!!
