I went with my six year old granddaughter and just wanted a small pizza. We were looked after very well and the service was excellent.
The parking was difficult but once there we had a really good evening. Great service and tasty food. Will return.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was hot and tasty, the menu variable. This was our 4th visit to the Amaretto Ristoranti, If you like Italian cuisine this is the place to go in Edgware, fully recommend it.
Great little neighbourhood Italian eatery. The set menu offers great value and portions are on the large size. Well worth trying.
Superb food freshly cooked - great value for money - highly recommend
Went with my grandson aged 7. We were treated very well and they looked after my grandson giving him a smaller portion. The meals are normally quite large and I can't get through them.
An authentic and well priced restaurant . I hadn't been here for a number of years as it was quite cramped but recently re-discovered it having redesigned the interior. Definitely worth a visit and we would go again
Great service and great food. Very authentic Italian cuisine. Well worth trying out!! I will definitely recommend the place and go again myself. Loved it!! Food was delicious and our waitress was very witty and met all our needs.
Marvelous food, good prices and excellent service...cannot fault this gem of an Italian in the middle of Edgware...so glas we found it.
We booked for 4 of us one of whom is a very fussy eater & will only eat vegetarian or fish. There was plenty of choice in all types of food & the extra vegetables ordered were plentiful to put it mildly. The food was of a high standard & the service extremely pleasant & obliging. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. My husband was the only one who had eaten here before but we all felt that we had paid more elsewhere for a lesser meal. The only criticism I personally have is that I would like to see sorbet on the dessert menu as it is a very refreshing, low calorie dessert! The complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was a nice touch. We would certainly come here again particularly & would recommend to others.
Threre is nothing much about this place that would recommend it above many similar ones, and a few reasons to go elsewhere. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was undistinguished at best. We had veal and calf liver respectively. Both a bit tough. And liver surprisingly greasy. They came with a choice of just one vegetable, which seems a bit mean. There was a lump of salad stuck on the side of the plate, I'm not sure why. Most of the desserts on the menu looked like bought in manufactured ones. The creme caramel was home made, and adequate, but no better. There was a big menu. but no sense of pride about the food.
Friendly service. Good piping hot bowls of pasta. What more do you want?
This is the second time I've visited Amaretto, this time with four others (including one 8-year old). As it was Friday night, I'd booked a table but the restaurant was nearly empty. Service was attentive and helpful and the food was good - normal Italian food. It was not particularly cheap, especially as vegetables (even potatoes) cost extra. It would have been nice for there to have been grissini on the table. At the end, as we'd over-ordered, we asked for "doggie bags" and the excess food was brought back to us quickly and well packed. After the bill arrived, we were offered liqueurs. Pity that the credit card machine was not working (due to a flood) but there was a clear sign to this effect on the door. Overall, a nice experience.
This is real Italian food served as it should be, no frills, no fuss, good ingredients, well cooked.
