The tomato mix on the starter toast were cold from the fridge-didnt like that, but everything else was good.
thank you for dining with us. we always use best ingredients and the pan con tomate (bread with tomatoe and garlic) (after we add extra virgin olive oil) we keep it in the fridge. We have to and most people enjoy it. but it is a pity you did not mention it on the day, I could have given you the warmer alternative. I hope we see you again. Please tell the waitress and have it on the house and enjoy making it.
Great authentic tapas. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and good value.
The food wasn't as good as before but maybe that was a one-off. Overall still quite pleasant with friendly service.
We enjoyed our meal here. Good tapas, good wine, simple decor.
The food was awful, dried out, the dish was warm but the inside of the food cold and bland. Although the ambience is nice and the staff pleasant. I would not recommend eating here. The wine list however is extensive.
As I look at your review and that of your other companion below, I am disappointed as to why you would try to do unwarranted damage to the business, especially in a such dates. Looking at your reviews, you can see you are surrendered by a 4 and a 5 star reviews and that is because Andalucia restaurant is one of the best value for money if not the best in the whole of the west end of London. I Say no more …..
If you like Spanish food, there are much better places to go in London. The service is good but the food was mediocre and for what it was too pricey. Tourist trap.
Great service, good priced value for the set menu and cosy place.. will go again thanks!
A very pleasant meal and a really good price, well w a visut
THE most lovely little spanish restaurant my go-to when in the West End. fantastic value, great atmosphere, friendly team and fabulous homely authentic food - cant fault it!
I love this friendly cosy restaurant that is away from the crowds, but conveniently located for a pre-theatre meal. The house red is good, the spinach crepe is delicious and the crèma Catalana is to die for.
Perfect for a pre-theatre meal - but get there early as it gets packed. Not the widest selection of tapas, or even the best, but good value, wholesome food and very friendly service. Particularly liked beans & chorizo starter and king prawn main course.
Good tapas at fairly reasonable prices for the area.
What a find of a restaurant in london. Great place, great homemade cooking from the heart. Wonderful staff who looked after us so well. We cant thank you enough.
A lovely place 😊
Warm and friendly welcome and very good service, but the food is lacklustre and it seems that nothing is freshly prepared, most if not all hot dishes (some of which were not very hot) are microwaved and so arrived at the table within a few minutes of ordering. Albondigas meatballs were bland and under-seasoned, croquetas de jamon were distinctly lacking in jamon. Wine list is short and uninspiring, consisting of readily-available supermarket wines at inflated prices. Will not return.
Small little tapas restaurant close to some of the theatres. Service was quick and friendly, food was good standard Spanish tapas
This wasn't our first time at Andalucia, in fact we booked it again because we enjoyed it so much last time. Sadly, this time the food wasn't as good. It might just have been our choices, but all the dishes lacked much flavour, even the chorizo, which usually has a bit of a kick. Some of the onion in the tortilla was undercooked and the ham croquettes looked and tasted burnt. It's shame because this was a nice place to go before seeing a show in the Harold Pinter theatre, but we probably won't book it again.
Lovely restaurant setting, feels as if you’ve been taken away from central London, devious food. Highly recommend.
I live between Spain and London so was not most impressed with the quality of the food. Not the most authentic , service was ok therefore made it bearable.
It was a quick pre theatre bite to eat.
Food was nice and well priced. We went for the set menu 3 courses for £14.95 and there was a good choice of main courses. Shame there happened to be a birthday party group which made the room extremely noisy. But once they left it was a nice and relaxed environment. Waitress was lovely and attentive.
Perfect location for a theatre supper at the Pinter Theatre - just two doors along!
It's not grand, but it's very convenient, just off the Haymarket, and the value is amazing for central London. Most tables - and the toilets - are in the basement, so check with them if you need disability access.
The three course theatre menu is simple but well cooked - though my husband described the Gazpacho as 'a bit watery'. He said his chicken was good, whilst I enjoyed my green salad and Prawns with rice and tomato sauce, followed by by Lemon cheesecake. At just over £60, including a bottle of house white, what's not to like?
Excellent service and food. Very near theatre. Very comfortable and welcoming
Great food. Great value. Organisation and ambience OK. Staff are lovely
We had eaten there last year but took my elderly parents as part of a theatre treat. The service was excellent, great menu choices and the food was well cooked & presented. Would definitely go again
Very good venue for theatre next door .. the Tapas were delicious !!! Nice cold beer as well perfect pre theatre venue !
Needed to find a last minute place to eat and discovered this little beauty on the app. Very small, but a lovely Spanish atmosphere. Service was fab. Ordered off the set menu at 14.95 PM. 3 courses and amazing value. Accompanied by a bottle of the house white which was again brilliant value. Somewhere we will visit again.
Authentic Spanish Tapas, ideal for a pre-theatre dinner. The house wine (Rioja) was perfectly acceptable
Great value, good portions, excellent service, good deals pre theatre.
I’ve adored this place for years and always increasingly perplexed why it is never booked to capacity. Obviously I don’t want it to be because I want a space but it’s so great it seems a shame so many are missing out! There are many people frequenting nearby chains but this is an independent establishment which is superlative and deserves support and indulgence.
Website of open table and the restaurant itself have out of date prices on the menus - theatre menu was 14.95 per head plus a service charge they added.
Food was nice and decent portions but restaurant was extremely quiet with only one of the other tables filled so ambience was lacking.
This is a nice little restaurant up a side street from the theatres so very convenient. We were greeted by the friendly waitress and sat immediately. The menu options were very good and the food was excellent- hot and served quickly. There was a special menu as well as a la Carte so plenty of choice. I would go again.
Booked here for pre theatre dinner. Positives are that it is very closer to the Prince of Wales Theatre and staff were very friendly. Also a nice bottle of red wine available. Although most seating is at basement level the space is fairly light and ok. Toilets could do with decorating. Food quality however, is not so good. We had nine tapas dishes and all were fairly low quality. Presentation of food was also poor. Spinach and pinenut salad looked like it has been tipped onto the plate from a supermarket bag and was not particularly fresh. Ok for a quick turnaround and very friendly but unlikely to return
Loved the patatas.... and all the Tapas was tasty. Excellent value and superb atmosphere in the West End
Fantastic value £12.95 for 3 course pre theatre menu. A big thank you to Julie for the friendly service.
Located in the heart of London but with affordable delicious food
A cosy restaurant in the heart of the West End which does everything a tapas venue should. Caters for vegetarians too. Lovely to return after 8 years and find it as wonderful as ever.
Outstanding value on the pre-theatre offer. I liked the atmosphere – it's a small place and was nice and busy. We would definitely return for another visit when looking for a good value pre-theatre offer. The crepe was a particular highlight, nice and cheesy, and the other dishes were all fine, if nothing too exciting. Service was good and wines were keenly priced.
Great for dinner before theater, but most seating is down a steep staircase. Understaffed the night we were there. Mind the prawns-required complete removal of shells and heads. Steak was passable but not a good value.
You are right about the prawns but that is how we serve them and is fully described in the menu. The steak, every time I go to the meat market I say the same thing to the butcher., when is the meat going down because if it continues like this I will have to put my prices up. Always the same answer, I am afraid it is going to get higher. Our steak is the best value for money around London, and therefore I will disagree with your comments enterally.
Had a lovely pre-theatre meal at Andalusia. Cosy, authentic decor, friendly staff and really good old school tapas, washed down with a bottle of Albariño. Can’t wait to return.
I felt like I am in Spain! Authentic restaurant with delicious food and great personal service. Value for money in central London. I was surprised it was quite quiet.
