A little slow with service to start and the menu is very limited, especially if you like healthy salads but the drinks are good and the venue is lovely

Food was delicious and service was great. The only problem was that we were put on a table so out of the way we couldn’t even see the restaurant, we were opposite the stairs, and we may as well have been sat on the stairs.

Great venue but let down by lack of vegetarian options. Had to ask for the Parmesan to be taken out of the veggie pasta (has animal rennet in it) and the veggie pasta portion was small compared to other meals. Otherwise a great place for drinks with good service and views across the city.

I booked here for the first time for my Mums birthday. We booked early at 5:30pm on a Friday as we were heading to the Arena afterwards. Angelicas was fairly busy but our table was situated nicely, not too close to anybody else which meant you could enjoy the buzz whilst having your own space. Our waiter was Ben, and he made sure we had everything we needed. We went for the 2 courses for £15 deal and we were very surprised at the standard of food for such a cheap deal! My Mum was made to feel like royalty from Ben on her birthday with a free glass of prosecco and dessert! Could not fault anything from the evening. Food amazing, service outstanding! Will definitely be returning and have already been recommending! :)

Are from the set lunch menu, two courses.
The soup lacked flavour and too much oil had been drizzled on the surface.
The mussels main course was good however the accompanying frites were cold and over cooked.

After visiting on Mother's Day we were extremely pleased with the service received despite how busy the resteraunt was. The atmosphere was lovely as there were a lot of families there celebrating the same occasion. I would definitely come again, lovely venue for a sophisticated girly afternoon/evening out!

Portions were just right Overall the ambience was fantastic- it felt sophisticated without being over the top and off putting. You could either dress up or down for the restaurant and feel just as relaxed. Will definately go again

Met 2 friends for lunch on Saturday. It was very busy and noisy when we arrived; however, we were greeted ans shown to our table straight away. Our waitress was very attentive, funny and gave fabulous recommendations. All in all we had a great meal with excellent service and the ambience was spot on. Would thoroughly to anyone wanting to eat in the city centre.

Food was fantastic, couldn't fault it. However the service wasn't at the same standard. We had booked a table unlike the gentlemen that had walked in just before us and who were told a 20 minute wait. By the time we had finished out starters the gentlemen with the 20 minute wait had finished their mains and desserts. I'm unsure whether out waiter was new but 3 out of 4 of our starters arrived wrong and once we'd finished it took 40 minutes for our mains to arrive. We did receive complementary desserts but no real effort of an apology.

the only concern I could find would be the state of the out door furniture either keep it immaculate or remove it green growth on white out door sofa's not a good look.........

Despite the potential for a wonderful restuarant given the views, location, bar area etc etc, this is a huge disappointment. The overpriced food was frankly tasteless and badly cooked, and the menu looked like something from a bad gastro pub. I don't see why Angelica does not strive to be an elite restaurant serving nouveau cuisine. The service was fine but the waitress we had was hideously badly informed, not knowing what the catch of the day way - instead, she guessed it was 'something like a cod'. This place is all icing and no cake.

Depending on your outfit depends on whether the front of house will take your coat, we were not one of the lucky ones. Despite booking we were put out of the way with a view of the till & the steadily going mouldy/moss covered outdoor furniture.

The food menu offered something different but despite the chips being hotter than the sun, the burger & fish had obviously been left waiting for them, as these were only luke warm.

The cocktails were pricey compared to other places in Leeds & the menu was covered in stains. The buffets next to each table also showed every food & drinks spillage.

It's a good venue/menu & the waiting on staff are excellent but to garner the reputation it aspires to they need to start sweating the small stuff.

Excellent food very quick service, my only gripe would be the location of where we were seated at the top of the stairs that leads to crafthouse. Other than that the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, very pleasant waiter and the food was fantastic. Would of liked to see a bit more on the menu too.

Firstly, the restaurant itself is very plush with fantastic views and great decor. We ordered full English breakfasts as well as a round of martinis. The food did taste great, and the meat used was of a great quality, but it did take a long time to arrive considering there were few other people in there. It also seemed expensive at £11 for the full English considering that it was of no greater quality than breakfast at the Reliance. The service started off very attentive but wained towards the end of our meal. Bill was incorrect when it arrived but they did correct quickly even if it did include service charge already (I dislike having a tip dictated to me). Probably won't go back but might take clients in the evening.

Travelled from London for b'day lunch with a friend, the place was way too full, people had been shoe-horned into every available space, music way too loud so people had to shout.
The waitresses were rushed off their feet so service for us was very slow and unable to get attention as the staff wizzed around at break-neck speed!
My friend had seabass, he said it was rather nice, I opted for fish goujons which were dry and tasteless. Overall very disappointed with my food and let's be honest Angelica's are charging London prices but don't follow up with ambience or service.
Shame because it's a nice venue but could be so much better.
Overall experience was poor, couldn't wait to get out (even though it was blowing a gale outside!)

Despite a reservation online, it appeared the staff wasn't aware. With some ado allocated a table explaining that all tables were reserved (one of which surely ours). The table location was somewhat poor, tucked away at some service fridges. The ambience is pretentious and the area is very loud rather than vibrant. All drink options are very expensive and despite a long menu, choice isn't imaginative beyond cocktails and some distillates. Mostly, Angelica is a bar. We didn't have food and in this ambience wouldn't have wanted to. A scenic location topping the Trinity centre is suggested. While it may be at the top, scenic doesn't describe the disappointing view of a roof construction. A timely transition to the Crafthouse was fortunate.
