Gergio was the best his service was outstanding and the food was great. If you are looking for a quiet dinner with a partner this is the spot to go.
Giorgio- is outstanding! I have been several times and the food and service is fantastic….. a real gem in lower Manhattan for great Italian food. All the staff are very pleasant. Kinda old school- with a modern twist- best of both worlds.
The food was good but Georgio made the experience amazing! Great waiter and very nice/helpful. Hope to be back for great cocktails!
Lovely restaurant. Ordered Chilean Sea Bass and lobster ravioli. Both were about average for a restaurant in this price range. The tiramisu dessert was the best part of the meal. Outstanding. The service could have been better coordinated.
Hidden gem in the Financial District! It’s tucked away on a quiet street so it’s easy to miss. But it is so worth seeking out. The dining room is classy yet comfortable. My salad with beets and apples was delicious. And the gnocchi was ridiculously amazing! The chocolate cake was also superb. My server Stefano was fantastic and made certain that everything was perfect. I can’t wait to return!
We had an absolutely amazing lunch at Antica. I have been coming to Antica the last several years and simply put, it is one of the top Italian restaurants in NYC. The service is spectacular and Georgio is absolutely outstanding and always takes incredibly care to ensure to always make sure we have the best time. Bravo!
Everything was great. My son referee us to you. Only one comment-overhead music way too loud and totally wrong genre for an Italian restaurant. Sounded like we were in a outside pool bar.
georgiano was fantastic!!!
Georgio, our Maître d'hôtel, was just outstanding. Knew exactly when to approach & always had a light-touch approach.
Great experience! Service is top notch. Old Italian music is outstanding!
Very quiet. Maybe too quiet, but COVID so not fair to judge I guess. Food and service were good. Decor was a bit dated.
We had a lovely time at this restaurant. It was my son’s birthday and our waiter Stefano made sure that we had an amazing time. The food was delicious and unique and the housemaid grappa was incredible. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again.
Good food, great service and really nice ambiance. Would def recommend for someone looking for a good place to grab a meal with friends, date or otherwise. Place is cozy and has a good feel to it.
My husband and I came here with early dinner reservations on Valentine’s Day. Giorgio our host immediately accommodated to us and sat us where we wanted since they looked like they just opened for the evening and no one was there yet.
We chose to eat in the back room because the music level was a bit high in the front. Otherwise we would’ve sat in the front as the ambiance is much nicer.
The food was incredible and surprising cheaper than most places in the city. I did notice the pricing was higher than their original menu, but understood since it was Valentine’s Day and they had a special menu. The food literally took me back to Italy. I ordered the pasta cabanera and it was so fresh, not too salty or saucey. My husband ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. We got the cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious.
Highly recommend this restaurant!
Overpriced menu. Waiters didn’t keep social distance between the tables while we were eating. Crowded everyone in one section
Overall one of the best experiences I’ve had in 2020
Georgio and hos team provided a memorable experience! Top notch service ambiance and food!
This restaurant is inside the Double Tree Hotel. There is an extensive menu with many choices if you are craving classic Italian fare. The food was good, Servers were very attentive and our host Georgio was wonderful and making sure all our needs were met .
Our reservations were made for outdoor seating and when we arrived there was no outdoor seating area so I felt a bit duped. There was plenty of room indoors however to remain socially distanced and dine safely.
Giorgio was a great waiter and made our experience amazing! Great food and service - felt like I was at a 5 star Italian restaurant for a reasonable amount of money
Staff was extremely friendly. Music was fabulous. The Gnocchi was to die for. The lobster ravioli was outstanding. The host was by far the best party of our evening.
Great place for dining. Upscale and classy. Good fish preparation that you would love it. Besides fish, there is much more choice too. Good ambiance and friendly servers. Formal dining.
Giorgio was great and the food was excellent - highly recommended. What a great spot in the neighborhood
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant & will definitely be coming back. The service was amazing, the food was great & the ambiance was very nice. I loved the atmosphere of the location & had a great, great time here. Georgio was our server & he honestly made the night for us. He was very attentive & wasn’t afraid to bring out his personality for us. There were plenty of laughs & the staff made everyone feel very welcomed. It was an unforgettable night & I definitely recommend going to this restaurant! :)
We had a wonderful experience at Antica. Our waiter, Georgio was very attentive and gave great recommendations for both food and wine. We celebrated a birthday and highly recommend this restaurant for your special celebrations!
The gnocchi was divine, the ambiance delightful and our host Giorgio was the best. Highly recommend!!!!
We loved this place. We dined outdoors in lower Manhattan, and the restaurant had set up sidewalk tables under a tent and it was very comfortable. Noise levels were fine despite another restaurant/bar next door.
Our server, Giorgio, was absolutely outstanding---helpful, charming, and all around was the highlight of the evening. He deserves many compliments! The other servers were also really courteous and helpful as well.
We were overwhelmed by the restaurant's approach to food. We were served antipasti of grilled shisto peppers, Italian salami and chunks of parmesan cheese, and fried zucchini, with superb bread--all without charge. We ordered wine by the glass and received a third pour--without charge. One in our party asked for a grappa--no charge. AND because we had two birthdays, we were serenaded and served a mini-ricotta cheesecake--no charge.
The food was very good: well prepared traditional Italian dishes. Not 5-star gourmet, but because all the other elements of the meal were so excellent, the food was perfectly fine, and the portions very generous.
We will return to this restaurant, and hope the next experience is as enjoyable as this one. Again, thanks to Giorgio!
Antica was fantastic!! Although service was a little on the slower side due to COVID, it was worth the wait because the food was fantastic. Giorgio was extremely friendly as well as the rest of the staff. Would definitely come back here again
The service was as it should be at a fine dining establishment. The waiters were terrific. We were celebrating my co-workers soon to be born baby and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Flavorful & delicious-We all cleaned our plates. Good value. They also had gluten-free pasta which let me enjoy!
We would all return again!
Loved the service and the food! The pasta primavera was delicious and it was so nice to be greeted with complimentary apps. Georgio was a delight and very helpful
I had the pleasure of dining at Antica on Monday. I was happily surprised to see that they’ve reopened and offer a beautiful, outside patio dining experience. The food remains delicious as always and the service is top notch per usual. Antica seems to always deliver, and I’ve been going there for several years. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an exceptional experience, and the complimentary grappa is the cherry on top.
I was so happy when i saw you guys reopened. Loved the food like always. We’ll definitely be back
All around great place, awesome food, great service.
Antica has a cozy, warm, intimate ambiance. Clearly, the chef cares about quality of food. The calamari was off the charts, the main courses were all delicious - no one left a morsel on their plate. The pinot noir by the glass was excellent. For dessert we shared the apple cake and it was creative and perfect. The service was exceptional - a Littleton gem!
Last week, I took my team out to celebrate one of the team members retirement. We were all pleased with the food – it was delicious and everyone was pleased with what they had ordered. The service was impeccable and Georgio, our Maître D, was extremely attentive to us although the restaurant was crowded with other patrons. He was polite, courteous and professional. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we agreed we would go back in the very near future.
My husband and I went for dinner here on Valentines Day, and I was very disappointed by the lack of flavor of my entree. I had the tagliatelle with shrimp and artichokes, and the pasta was overcooked, and the shrimp and sauce really had no flavor. In fairness, my husband’s crispy calamari dish was delicious, and my first course, the vegetable minestrone was good. But my husbands filet mignon was not as good as the steak they we recently had on a cruise and certainly wasn’t worth its $48 price. For dessert, the cheesecake was dense and yummy, but the tiramisu was just ok. I was disappointed that the food quality wasn’t what I had hoped to find.
Always great. Excellent, attentive service, never rushed. Only odd thing I still can’t get over after so many visits is having to go to the restroom via elevator near hotel reception area.
Cocktails were terrible and server was not helpful. Food quality was just ok for how expensive it was priced. I'd expect this level from a middle of no where town, but never at this price level for this quality of food and service. For being in NYC.. I'm surprised it's stayed in business. It's probably because the clientele is always out of towners.
Server was pushy and suggested we order 3 of the appetizers, of which we were fine with but then they served us as 5 different plates (would have been fine to share from 3 plates) and charged us 23$ per plate, for just the appetizer. Making it from what we thought would be about 50$ for the 3 to being 114$.
Also, terrible cocktails.
It was amazing experince for me. I enjoy evrything. The food was exelent and the staf was very profesional. I will defeney go back
Food was over priced for the value.
Service was ok
Pleasant dining room great service , real good food.
