Location is great, food was amazing, staff really professional, friendly and helpful! I went there with my sister and friends who came to visit me from Italy. 2 people had the menu a la carte, while 3 of us had the autumn dinner set menu. Everyone was happy about their choices. The autumn set menu was a great deal! A really good price with many really tasty options, plus a welcome drink, which was a proper drink! Our waitress was really friendly and helped us with the menu and helped me with an alternative for the dessert since I am lactose intolerant. Some of the plates on the menu a la carte are a bit overpriced, but worthy for the quality and the taste of the food. I will definitely go back again :)

Beautiful restaurant and decor. Seeing the kitchen at work whilst you’re dining is also great. The service was a little slow to start but became more efficient as the evening progressed. We ordered the Autumn Experience but this didn’t seem to have been processed as we got the ordinary menu and ended up spending more with no welcome cocktail but the food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The steak had some chewy slices which I couldn’t eat but most of it was lovely.

The food was nothing special, not counting the attempt to cover up lack of originality in their menu with creative tableware. The space decor if a little out of touch and the lack of personnel gives off a feeling of an abandoned place. Servers were nice, but not very professional (wiping the table with an old wet cloth leaving pieces of it behind; the dishes were crammed together on a small table) Didn’t feel like the price/quality ratio was fair. Certainly not the place for a fancy lunch, but maybe dinners work better.

Good food. Sashimi and sushi over priced versus other similar level establishments. Service was good but to be told you only have the table for 2 hours as soon as you sit down was a bit full on. Wine list had decent variety and as in many places, white wine served way too cold.

It was amazing! Came here for my anniversary and the restaurant, food and service was stunning. We had a lovely booth for just the two of us right by the DJ booth and had the best time. Also the cocktails were delicious. Thank you for looking after us and making our night so special.

There was fire alarm going on, after it turned off smoke was full of restaurant. While we are eating with smoke, the waiter kept asking if he could take the empty plate more than 6 time even tho we are still working on it I came here for my friend's wedding anniversary, but I left early because of the smoke…

We went to Aqua Kyoto and had the autumn set menu. The food was disappointing for a restaurant of this calibre. The spicy mayonnaise dip was extremely salty and the orange type purée with the chicken ruined the flavours of the rest of the dish. I felt rushed by the staff who brought the courses out extremely fast. I’m a fast eater but the service speed could cause indigestion. Nice venue and ambience but do not rate the food at all. Roka and Zuma are far better when it comes to flavours.

Been to so many Brunches across London but Aqua Kyoto definitely got that balance between surplus and a contained bunch of happy Brunchers right in the middle of Central London . Ambience was epic , Food tasted well made and surprisingly refreshing in every bite ! Honestly I can’t fault this spot except for whoever it was I spoke to on the phone when we arrived early . She sounded rude and dismissive, as if it was a crime to arrive early and my partner feet was hurting from her shoes . I also got a vibe like that from the Lady that walked us to our table , sat us right us next to the door (entrance ) . Many thanks to Lee who kept out glasses filled at all times! In fact all the guys who attended to my table were friendly , funny and patient ! Shout out to the Chef on the grill as well !!

I've been coming to Aqua for a number of years and have always enjoyed it. This time the food was just that bit better I've written this review! Salmon avocado rolls and the Lobster and truffle rolls are my favourite. Soft shell crab and duck mains are also very good! Service was quick and attentive, couldn't ask for more!

I booked a table for 2 on Sunday, August 7, and the security guard downstairs wouldn't let one of my friends upstairs when we arrived. When I went upstairs to the front desk for help, they told me that everyone was busy and no one was helping me, and they cancelled my appointment. It was very unpleasant. Hope someone contact me and fix the problem. I think they're racist and everyone else is in.

Set menu was ok but not great. Service was average but warmed up towards the end. Over priced for what it was really and terrace was shut.

We have been for the brunch a few times, but on this latest visit it feels like the food has moved up a notch. It is plentiful and delicious and the service is excellent. With the bottomless drinks option it is also very good value. We had a drink on the terrace before and after the meal and felt incredibly well looked after. We will be back.

The service was shocking. Staff did not explain the food they were placing on the table. One starter only came out, no drinks, then the rest of the started arrived with the main courses. I made the staff aware of poor service and there was no apology just told it’s busy, you have to wait. No atmosphere and all staff throughout looked so depressed and wished they were not there. Avoid at all costs

We had an absolutely amazing time, customer service was very personable and they met our every need. The food was 10/10, everything we ordered was delicious we could not fault this restaurant at all. The atmosphere is lovely, very chilled vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

Expensive for no reason. Portions were very small for an extortionate price in comparison to many other up market restaurants. Cocktails were nice. Service was very slow and poor. Lacks attentiveness. Waiter would just hand out a menu and walk off. Would not return.
