Aqua Shard Ratings and Reviews
well what can l say but fabulous, outstanding food, beyond brilliant service by David and his staff we were treated like royalty truely, we have definatley had the shard experiance and would love to go back, would highly reccomend to everyone looking for an amazeing, special and truely memorable time. The views are something else, you can see all the landmarks of london from your table WOW!.
Better than expected! The brunch menu is not amazing but better than expected - as a Chinese I think it's better than Hutong upstairs... view is very nice, but we were given a table far from the window. The waitress tried to help us get one closer to the window but in vain... at least she tried!
This dinner was a wonderful experience. My wife and I we got I think the best seat in the house on the corner overlooking Belfast & the Tower of London. The service was impeccable as was the food, very expensive but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
Went on a first date and the whole experience was brilliant, got a second date out of it and we are still together do job done. Wasn't cheap at £200 for starters, main and nice wine but was well worth it. I booked late so didn't get a window seat for our meal but got moved later in the evening as people left. The experience and view was amazing and the perfect setting for a romantic date. Would recommend.
Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had booked through open table and mentioned the special occasion on there. We got a lovely table overlooking the river Thames and london skyline. The day was sunny so an added bonus. There was limited choice for vegetarians (something perhaps the restaurant should consider expanding on the menu) so we ended up having almost all the veggie dishes on the menu. It was a high end restaurant so the prices were high too but the food was exquisite. Really good presentation and flavours and good portions. Very good wine too (we had ordered by the glass). The market menu was a good value for a 2 or 3 course at £32 or £36 so would suggest that if you find something suitable. We wanted 2 market set menus but that only had one veggie main and they would not add another to replace so we ordered one market set and another a la carte. The service was excellent and the waiter was great. We were able to enjoy the views and the food without being rushed and spend quality time on a special day. We didn't order desserts as we were full but the restaurant had a special surprise for my wife - macaroon (her fav!) excellently presented! We had an enjoyable time, thank you!
I took my partner here for his birthday brunch and we both absolutely loved it. The ambience was lovely and romantic. The meat was not halal but I was contacted by the restaurant to let me know the vegetarian options instead. The vegetarian options were very few but they made great effort to make it all very special. I requested for a happy birthday to be written on my partners cake and they supplied a lovely plate of macarons with a happy birthday message as I had asked. Thrilled and would definitely come again. Thank you Aquashard
Had an amazing time at Aqua for Sunday Brunch. It was a Special occasion as it was my girlfriends grandmothers birthday. The staff were wonderful and made the day very special giving us a private room. The food was 1st class and the price was very reasonable considering the setting. Great view from there and a great atmosphere. Will highly recommend it. If you get the chance to try Aqua you will be blown away!
Booked a table for brunch on a sunday for me and my partner to celebrate his birthday. First time eating at the Aqua Shard and we were not dissapointed. Service, food, and views were amazing and staff very accomodating. Great place for special occassions would have no hesitation in returning to Aqua Shard in the future.
Best view in London, hands down. Food not as good as last time. Should be a lot better for the price. They prepare the food to be visually impressive, and it is, but its nothing special. The sause on the rabbit was ordinary at best. Needs to be better to get me back.
Even on a cloudy day the sense of light and space in this gorgeous venue in the sky was uplifting. From the moment we stepped into the lift we felt a sense of luxury, care and excellence. As a treat for my mother and uncle I could not have done better. The food was superb, the only reason why I did not give it outstanding is that the intense, flavourful Jerusalem artichoke soup was not hot enough by time it was decanted into the bowl and the gluten free bread was shop bought like. I expect better in what was otherwise a classy establishment.
