Whole Lobster simmered with five spices, peppers and prawns
This restaurant is in a central location. The decor is lovely, tasteful and the ambience is perfect. The menu is varied and has a very good selection to choose from. The food was outstanding and we will definitely return.
Inattentive staff and rude 'hostess' who refused to give eye contact and was dismissive of our party.
The food was decent but fairly pricey for what's provided.
First of all the receptionist’s customer service was awful.
The food was rubbish, must have changed the chef?
Cocktail menu was limited as the bar staff were new but this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand it was only when we sat down.
Ordered a chicken jalfrezi and it tasted more like a korma with peppers in.
Have been a few times and have always been impressed but really disappointed on this occasion.
We had such a beautiful meal at Asha’s. The food was incredible and they had a great selection of alcohol free drinks!
Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend. Couldn’t quite understand the one waiter who wore his face mask below his chin and was serving food but other than that….
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. 5/5 will definitely return. Highlight of my 2 night stay in Manchester.
This is not your standard curry house. It's far superior. There are imaginative dishes that you don't find elsewhere. The food is delicious, served by attentive staff in upmarket surroundings. It's more expensive than other curry restaurants but worth it. A nice treat.
We booked because it was a birthday celebration for my son - we wanted the Sunday lunch and cocktails. Both advertised on website. No Sunday lunch and we were told no cocktails although other tables were provided with cocktails. Can’t fault food but we should have been told all this beforehand and website should be updated. It cost us double what we expected as there were 6 of us . Very very disappointed- my sister was due to go next week and she has now cancelled because of this . Be interested to know what has happened to the previous staff who were experienced and knowledgeable obviously training new staff
Very slow service, poor customer service by the manager, music could have been more traditional to fit Asha however we was served by one lovely gentleman who took great care of us.
Food was amazing, we got welcomed quickly and sat down.
Our starters come more or less as soon as we ordered which was brilliant.
The staff are a real credit to the restaurant they couldn’t be more helpful or polite.
We will definitely be visiting again when we come back to Manchester next month!
The food was amazing! Portion sizes are huge. I ordered far too much and left food as I was stuffed but all amazing. The service was outstanding, given with a smile and felt welcome and unrushed
The service was fantastic but the food is well over priced. The prawn kebab was luke warm, but the waitress kindly refunded us, so that was a lovely gesture. The rest of the meal was nice. Not somewhere I would go again.
Booked for partners 30th birthday, service was fantastic, food lovely just a real shame on a arrival we were advised that due to a new bar employee only wine, bottles and beers - no cocktail! It would have been nice to be told prior to arrival and was a real shame.
The curry tasted off, rice was bland & we waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. Not happy considering the amount of money we paid.
The food is beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive however there was a large group at a table who were being extremely loud and the staff didn’t seem to do anything about it, we couldn’t hear ourselves speak because they were shouting and talking so loud which ruined it slightly. There was a little bit of a disagreement between staff when we arrived and they did this right in front of us which seemed unprofessional and rude but The food definitely made up for it and we would come again.
Lovely food and service. Even no cocktails the manager managed to shake for us couple of expresso martinis .. also good knowledge about the menu and good advise on food 😻 great place for dinner defo recommend !
Honestly the best curry I’ve eaten out at a restaurant. I say out because my partner is of Pakistani origin and his mum is a fantastic cook. I’m not so bad myself having been taught by her.
However this food was on another level in terms of taste and quality. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
Excellent combination of modern and traditional.
Amazing food and service - thank you
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing!! All the staff were friendly and brilliant service ! Highly recommended
Fabulous food. Probably the best indian in Manchester if your looking for high quality tasty food. Don't expect the normal greasy indian food that fills you full of indegestion. This is high quality meats and sauces, served by knowledgeable staff in a great enviroment.
Good food and when it got to table service very good. One staff member was in control - from front of house to others they seemed confused, panicked and running for no reason! It’s pricey and worth going for a special occasion- food with no drinks is c£40-50 a head.
Great food severely let down my appalling service. Drinks and popadoms were ordered and forgotten until chased and food was brought out and left for 7-8 mins before being served to us. My local cafe wouldn’t do that let alone a supposedly high end restaurant! The bill then included service charge which we asked to be removed - this was done but there was no suggestion of an apology from the manager or a discount on the bill. Avoid if you really don’t like poor service.
The food here was beautiful, could not be faulted. Everything presented beautifully and tasted lovely. The decor is lovely and relaxing. The service was mainly friendly, though it was slow and we did encounter one ruder member of the team. We asked for a second drink that didn’t arrive and had to request again. We were not offered dessert menus and had to request to pay the bill numerous times too. The food though more then made up for it. Try the avocado pakoras, beautiful.
We really enjoyed dining at the restaurant. The service was very good. The food was excellent. They had a good choice on the vegetarian menu. We will definitely be returning.
Very expensive for just a standard curry really. The service we received was quite poor too but I noticed other waiters seemed to be more cheerful so we may have just got one who had a bad day
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Indian cuisine like no other!
Sadly they just didn’t have enough staff and given one of the reasons we had chosen the restaurant was for their cocktails, it was such a shame the first thing we were told was no cocktail waiter. Food was amazing though when we got served.
Really good food, very friendly and efficient service, and the place looks great too. Excellent value overall.
When you book here you know you're not going to have the cheapest of time but for a special treat Asha's fits the bill. Lovely food, great service and nice atmosphere. Top job!
I'm a returning customer and I will keep returning haha. I'm always so happy with the food and service. Literally everything about this restaurant is Perfect!!!
Fantastic food and lovely staff who were really friendly. Cannot recommend enough.
Great meal as per normal
A1 very very nice food. will recommend to family and friends.
So good to be out in Manchester having a meal! I have been wanting to come here for quite a while now and my 1st meal inside after lockdown didn’t disappoint. Excellent service, lovely staff, relaxing ambiance and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend the Lobster to start and we shared a few firm favourites of mains between 4. Thank you and I can’t wait to come back
Loved it from the moment we walked in. Staff very good and the food was fab. A great find
Delicious food, amazing atmosphere and great service! 100% recommended
We had the six course tasting menu with a flight of wines. It was all first class, both in taste and the service received. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. Thanks for a great evening
From entering to leaving we were left with a great impression of Asha's, our first time there but certainly not our last, I am not a favorite of Indian food (any spicy food) but left feeling good and with a full stomach.
Great service friendly and helpfull staff
Very expensive for the quality of the (cold) food.
Excellent id happily recommend this place to anyone
