Hyderabadi chicken curry made with yoghurt and coconut milk
New York Style Cheesecake
Classic chicken tikka in a tomato and cream gravy, flavoured with dry fenugreek leaves
The potions was plentiful and tasty. Unfortunately the chicken in the dish was very brown. This resulted in me just eating rice. I would have enjoyed the dish if it was white chicken breast.
Fabulous experience, we had the 6 course taster menu with wine. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!
Food not as good as it as ...goan Ghost gave me an upset stomach. Service poor...they can't get staff
The food was nice but very expensive for what it was. I mean a curry without rice more or less £18 - then if you want rice and nan - another tenner - what a joke !! Therefore I chose the prawn biryani and although nice fresh and filling it had no more than 4 prawns in! It may be ok for footballers or footballers wives lol but for joe bloggs? Too expensive .
Also £25.00 was the cheapest bottle of wine
Great atmosphere lovely decor AMAZING food this was are 2 bday visit and we took 4 friends they loved it to the food is amazing
For much of our visit we were the only customers as we chose to dine early. The service and the meal were superb. The Naan bread was the most delicious that we have ever eaten, and we have eaten many Indian meals! We had the taster meal so had a wide experience of the flavours on offer. The four starter courses each had their own special spices - the sea bass was especially good. Each course was accompanied by 75ml of wine, which enhanced the eating experience and as we were taxiing there and back, we were not concerned at being over the limit! We will certainly eat at Asha’s again.
Another great meal, just cannot express enough how good Ashers is.
The best curry in Manchester by far. The staff just cannot do enough for you and their attention to detail is amazing
Service and starter were fine, our main courses were very similar! Chicken Dopiaza and Chicken Tikka Masala. Chicken tasted pre cooked in Dopiaza and would guess no tandoor oven in kitchen.
Would have been nice to have had more indian staff, we saw one.
There was no attention to things we asked for. Certain Items didn’t arrive. From the time we arrived until the bill was paid the waiter didn’t ask if we wanted/needed anything else .
The staff were so friendly and the restaurant had beautiful decor and ambiance. The portion size was larger than expected and the flavours were amazing!! We ordered mocktails which weren’t as flavoursome as we wanted but the overall night was lovely. Definitely planning on going back!
Food was amazing and our server was outstanding. Thank you will definitely be back.
It was our 1st time at Ashas and we was not disappointed
Excellent service from the moment we walked through the doors till we left
The food was amazing definitely recommend
We went just before the theatre started and was perfect timing
We made a fried (shrek 😂)
We will definitely return again with family
Thanks Asha 👍🏽
As always food is tasty everywhere
Lovely pre theatre menu ,delicious. Would visit again
Lovely food, unique flavours. More expensive than a normal Indian but in line with a nice restaurant. Wish portion sizes were slightly bigger.
Lovely atmosphere and truly lovely staff. Most of the dishes were tasty but definitely more for special occasions. The starter platter is a lovely mix but was not enough for 3 people which is ok as think it’s not meant to be.
Food was delicious and the service was so friendly and professional
This is a beautiful place. Interior is lovely perfect for smart dressing. Food is absolutely amazing. So full of flavour and great portions too. I will be reviewing properly on my Instagram @tabletrotter_
Food was good but quite expensive however because of the high volume of the background music we will not return. We did ask if it could be turned down but told that this was not possible as it was streamed music. Shame …
Simply a wonderful night, beautiful food and the waiters were very attentive and looked after us all night.
The food was not authentic Indian food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service but food should improvise. The biryani was filled with saffron and the aloo tikki was bland.
Absolutely outstanding, we tried the six course taster menu with wine flight. The food was exceptional, the wine delicious and the staff we amazing. We visited last night I have already recommended it to many of my friends, family and colleagues.
Fabulous, excellent quality and lovely friendly staff
Look forward to next visit
Gorgeous meal, great restaurant, brilliant service. Thank you
Amazing food and lovely staff. Would highly recommend
Food was average, no one came and asked if food was OK or if we needed anything. no attention paid to extra drinks, payment time. That bit took quite long and had to wait around. for the cost the food was just average nothing amazing unfortunately but ambience and restaurant was nicely decorated. it was difficult to get hold of staff not sure if Saturday was particularly understaffed for some reason.
We visited Asha's for the first time and were very impressed with the place, the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent with lots of choice. We were left to enjoy our meal in our own time there was no rushing. I will definatly be going back soon, it's a no brainer.
Enjoyed our evening the food and service was good but it is expensive not somewhere you can go often I would say special occasions yes very good
Asha offers amazing style of Indian food that is exceptional quality with the level of service to match.
We are never disappointed when dine here and are always leave feeling it has been a wonderful dining experience. X
Fantastic superb meal lovely staff highly recommended
What a fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Thank you. Apologies for the late arrival due to traffic. We will be back and spend more time in your beautiful restaurant 💃🏽
One of the best curry houses I have been too! Really enjoyed
Friendly and efficient service from the staff. The dishes we had ranged from ok to excellent, the starter of prawns was really good but the Avocado Pakora I had was heavy and forgettable. My wife had the lobster which she said was a bit dry and over spiced, however I had the best lamb Biryani I have ever tasted. It is expensive but if you pick the right dishes I would say it is worth it.
Excellent, food delicious, friendly and helpful staff and good value for money. Just a shame the downstairs bad wasn’t open for a drink before we arrived!
Fantastic service and food. Not your normal Indian restaurant. Unusual dishes packed of flavour. The lamb just melted in my mouth. Would definitely recommend.
Food and staff and service amazing best lamb chops around
Lovely Indian restaurant with friendly happy staff. The food is lovely , a real treat.
Thank you Asha's all 4 of us will be back.
We had the Taster Menu for which I had been given a voucher for my birthday. What a wonderful opportunity to try dishes we would never normally choose. A perfect mix of dishes, so well presented and cooked. A very friendly team too. A lovely, lovely evening and we'd certainly come back to Asha's.
Overpriced and the food was bland, horrible taste. Wouldnt recommend. Over-hyped.
all very nice, a bit quite as only a few diners, probably that is midweek and lunchtime
