Service was quite poor and a little dismissive. Food was nice but nothing special for the price.
Great service and food. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Best curry in Manchester.
Luxurious inside and very comfortable.
Lovely food with a great range of dishes and also drinks.
Warm friendly and helpful staff.
This is a must eat place if you love Indian food. The Sunday dinner is an Indian take on a Sunday roast and is amazing value for the quality of the food. Great wine selection, try the new Chardonnay, it’s a real winner. As for the service just amazing as ever.
We had a virgin experience voucher given as a gift to us and had been waiting until we felt comfortable to eat out again. So we were a little nervous going into the city but need not have worried as Asha's staff made sure we received a warm welcome with Evelyn taking the lead and making sure all our courses and wines were fully described to us. The food its self and the wine pairings were just great and a quality you would expect from this highly rated restaurant
We left full and happy and will definitely be back.
Great place, good cocktails, above average quality North Indian and Goan food. Attentive service.
Never fails to impress. The food is fantastic, the ambience cool and relaxing and the service is friendly, helpful and attentive.
We had a wonderful evening
Fantastic food, each dish tasted so different. Beautiful restaurant and lovely staff
Very helpful waitress who took my request for extra heat to a dish and between her and the kitchen delivered an excellent curry
We had a tasting menu voucher, £60 per person. Not worth the money at all. It wasn't a tasting menu as you'd expect and it appeared like they didn't do this experience very often (they placed 6 pairs of cutlery on the table which just got in the way). 4 courses were scaled down starters - one consisted of a single lamb cutlet which was primarily fat. The best bit was the small bowl of curry, however this was accompanied by the same amount of rice and an entire naan - the curry to naan/rice ratio was way off and odd. The pudding was nice, however a sliver of cheesecake appeared to be cut in half, again portion size ridiculous! Was not impressed to say that this is a Michelin recommended restaurant. Not worth £120! Came away very disappointed and won't be going back.
The food here is just exceptional- try the lamb chops!
The lobster was disappointing. The flavour over powered the lobster meat. We were expecting amazing considering the £85 price tag. The individual curries and biryani was great.
Would have been lovely had they not tried to charge us for a £70 bottle of champagne we didn’t have & £4.50 for water charge we never ordered!
Excellent food/place/service bill on the pricy side.
Very clean , friendly and polite staff , are server helped us choose are meals , food outstanding , lobster was amazing very fresh everything was just 10-10 , this was my 1st time visiting and I will absolutely be coming again fantastic atmosphere
great food, great service, I would highly recommend ashas to anyone.
The starters were very minimal and not a good choice. This was disappointing. The jalfreize was very mild, more like a korma. The condiments for the poppadoms were awful
Reasonable food but we were asked to leave our table after 1.5 hours even though the website states it should have been 1.45 hours and so couldn't finish our meal - disappointing .
Amazing food and cocktails , service was exceptional
A lovely birthday meal. The staff made the experience special - including a happy birthday cheesecake! The food was great - the black lentil Dahl was especially good. The cocktails were different to the usual and were fab!
The meal was delicious and brought on time. The serving staff were courteous and also gave us information about the meal we had. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Would certainly recommend Asha’s. Well-cooked food, an extensive and imaginative menu and highly professional staff. We were only visiting Manchester so will not be returning any time soon, unfortunately, but we shall be very tempted to make a return visit next time we are in the area. My stepson who joined us for the meal does live in Manchester and I would be surprised if it’s long before he returns.
Amazing food, delicious! Best curry I have had. Service slow. Will definitely return
Exceptional service, and fresh & very tasty food!
First visit, as we’d been gifted a voucher, but we’ll definitely be back!
We highly recommend the prawn kebab, delicious!
Amazing food and great atmosphere.
Will be coming again!
The food is amazing. The deco chilled and sets you in a good mood. The service is very polite and pleasant but slightly slow on getting you drinks.
Fantastic creative and unique food and wonderful service,
Amazing as always. We went early as we had the little one with us which was a good thing because it was quiet and we didn’t annoy anyone. 😂
We started with a platter which is a combination of starters which are just insane. Seekh kebab being my favourite.
We then had a couple of curries for the main with the best garlic naan and chips in Manchester. Lamb Ghost was recommended and it was the best curry I’ve ever had!
Even the little ones butter chicken was quality.
Thanks again Ashas, can’t wait to return!
Me and my fiancé went to ashas for the first time and what a dining experience from just the simple poppadoms and pickle tray was amazing the. The mains was outstanding
The muscat gosht i recommend 100%
Also our server Evelyn was brilliant from start to finish
Will definitely be going again in the near future
Had a wonderful meal. Such tasty food and great recommendations. Was seated in a booth as requested on booking. Clean prompt and friendly.
Service and food absolutely fantastic
Delicious food serviced in a lovely setting. Some different dishes to the norm. Presentation of the food was a feast for the eyes as well as for the tongue. Our son said it was the best Indian food he’d ever had!
The interior has classic Indian style. The food was fabulous, different from the usual Indian fare. We even had music playing later. Lovely place, classy surroundings. Would definitely go again.
The best curry we've ever tried, and at first the prices were a little more than expected, after tasting, we understood exactly why.
Can't wait to go here again, also, the vanilla champagne cocktail was just so different.
Food, amazing! Cocktail list has been updated so fantastic choice. Cannot fault the service. Highly recommended
Lovely restaurant great flavours and good service even adapted the menu when requested
Amazing food, ambience and the host ! Highly recommended.
A bit of a wait between courses and maybe an extra member of staff in our area would have helped. However, in this climate I understand how hard it is to even have any staff at all. I think Asha is one of the best in the city for their cuisine without question.
Waitress was great when she dealt with the able also. Think she maybe a supervisor/manager but she really makes an impression with her personality and positivity.
The lamb chops are amazing, definitely one of the more popular things on the menu, you would see quite a few people ordering lamb chops. The service is also great, the staff are very friendly and nice to talk to as well
