Food as usual was wonderful and waiter accommodated our requirements. Service was smooth and friendly but unobtrusive.
Always good never let me down
I had been to Asha’s a couple of years ago. It is much the same now with a few changes to the menu. I wish there was more variety for vegetarians. Overall the food was delicious with generous portions. The cocktails are amazing as always!
Thank you for adding a personal touch for our first anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised :)
Very good food nice environment very friendly and informative staff when asking about the menu very glad to help and advise
Awesome dining experience and would love visit again
Expensive for what it is. Nice food, much better than your average curry, but far far more expensive. A good curry house is 80-90% of the way there for about 40% of the cost. 2 for 1 offer on mains made it more palatable but still a bit to much.
The lamb is to die for! We travel all the way from Leeds to visit the Birmingham restaurant just to enjoy the lambs leg. AMAZING FOOD & STAFF - highly recommend!
Great restaurant especially as it opens so late allowing you to have a “posh curry” after some drinks. Service is always A*! And consistent throughout all the staff! Loads of vegetarian options which is great, tried the eggplant and gives you lovely ideas to get creative at home!
This was our second visit to Asha's in Birmingham. The meal was superb, starters and main course. We were not rushed but also we did not have to wait too long for the food. The service was excellent and everyone was very pleasant. We will definately visit this restaurant again very soon.
I would recommend this restaurant for couples, family and special occasions.
Thank you to you all as well as the people behind the front of the house.
Went here for my birthday with family as they all know I love Indian food. We did push the boat out, ordering cocktails and a generous selection of dishes (though not the legendary President's Platter!)
We really liked the big tables which meant there was plenty of space for all the things that arrived!
Portions were very generous. We sensible shared some starters between us but with hindsight should have done the same for the main course curries.
I loved the feel and buzz of the place. Recommended.
overall the food was very good and tasty although not spicy enough for my taste. a hotter dish was requested but still, food was very tasty. the ambience was good as was the service.
Cannot wait to re-visit, I heard the food was excellent and when I tried it it's better than excellent !!
Superbly presented food and taste
The food was very tasty, nice and spicy as we'd asked. The service was great, the food was swiftly served and the table was quickly cleared of dishes. Thank you to our server Amneet :)
Th only thing that let the experience down was a bit of the service. Once our main dish was cleared away the waiter went to the table next to us. Cleared this table and asked if they wanted a drink or coffee. We were never asked that question and in the end had to waive at another waiter to request drinks.
The service was amazing and the food was incredible
Been many times and what was once the leading Indian restaurant in the city has now been caught by others.
Nice place but noisy. Food is good but portions are ridiculously large especially biryanis.
Overall it’s now looking overpriced for those not on an expense account.
Best food and service. It’s one our favourite restaurants and the best curry I’ve ever eaten
Absolutely fantastic food. Superb service. It is worth mentioning name the attendant
Ms Anmeet who was extremely helpful and warm. The ambiance was wonderful. I would certainly go back and recommend to friends and family.
When my friends and I arrived at the restaurant, there was no one to greet us, there were two people talking at a desk some way from the entrance door, neither acknowledged us for quite a few minutes and then a gentleman turned up, to be honest I wasn't at all sure they were expecting us. Restaurant very quiet, OK it was lunch time, but we were taken to a table right by the entrance door, no atmosphere, totally dead, very few people around us. We were just given the lunchtime special menu, we asked if this was the only menu for lunchtime, then were brought the a la carte menu. No drinks order taken. After sometime we were asked if we were ready, in fact, we did choose from the lunchtime menu, as it did appear to be good value for money. With our order we did ask for a jug of tap water, which had to be asked for again, as it appeared to have been forgotten about. When our food was served, it was OK, nothing special, in fact not at all memorable. Obviously, at some point we did manage to see the rest of the restaurant, very few people, but within the restaurant itself, nice decor, more ambience, so why were we put by the front door?? Would never go again, would never recommend, very poor customer experience and service.
Always on the mark, service, food quality and a great location!
Another great dining experience. Superb food and service, and great ambience. We will be back!
Food excellent & service friendly. Only query I have is when booking table the only time available was 9.30pm however when we arrived the restaurant was a 3rd full, very odd. Would visit again but book direct.
Great food great service, would definitely recommend.
Great value 2 for 1 main courses offer. Lovely night out
A wonderful meal & super service. We always enjoy our trips to Asha’s & their quality and standards remain very high. Many thanks
Stopped with a German colleague for a curry before departing and wanted a quality curry - it did not disappoint and was excellent. Staff were very good, but slow for initial orders despite it being empty (which did mute the ambiance). Having said that we were right at the start of lunch and it was raining, but we saw other places with people queueing to get in on our way to the station.
The food is absolutely brilliant. We had the lobster presidents platter which was amazing. I even got a big chunk of birthday cake! The food arrived quickly, but we did have to wait for a while to get the bill after it had been asked for.
Ashas restaurant is an amazing restaurant with great menu, delicious food, outstanding drinks and friendly staff. It was definitely a great choice for our dinner.
Food was amazing! We were waited on by Amneet and a few other members of staff. Very friendly and helpful! Great knowledge of all the curries!
Always a great welcome, food and experience at Asha’s
Wheelchair access was through a side door into a store room and then into the restaurant, however the staff who provided this access were most pleasant and helpful. The meal was good, and I would happily return.
Good food and and enjoyed the ambiance since it was quite as expected for a Sunday!
Certainly deserves its reputation with exceptional food and surroundings. Always a pleasure to eat there
The best Indian food in Birmingham. Never disappointed with their quality and taste.
Great food no doubt. Only downside is slightly expensive. One of the best Indian restaurant in the UK. Yet to try the Solihull branch. Birmingham is the best of the lot so far. Open table don’t seem to pass the request I left through the App. Not sure why some old menus have disappeared. They were awesome
Overall very good. Food was not to the usual standard this time. Would definitely go again. Cocktails amazing as always.
The food and service was 9.5/10
Considering that my mum is a very fussy Indian mum, she absolutely loved the paneer and rasmalai.
Every dish had flavour and perfect texture.
I am very pleased and will definitely be coming back
Food was ok. Definitely not worth the price at all. There are cheaper places that have more flavour.
