Went there for a birthday celebration and it was excellent service from the start. I think it was alex who was our waiter for the evening who was excellent and had no faults about her. Food was tasty and good portion sizes for the money. They also was able to go through with a birthday surprise I requested when booking which was excellent and made the bday girl very happy. Great restaurant and good atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Amazing as always, the best Indian restaurant in Birmingham, i’m going there every 2 weeks, never had a bad experience, staff nice and friendly, 10 out of 10 😁🤩✌️
Really enjoyed Asha's, the food, service, ambience were faultless, real authentic Indian food. The pre-theatre deal was really good value for money, but no compromises, can't wait to go back. Well Done Asha's.
First time visit for a celebration leaving work meal for two . The ambience was very warm and welcoming . Greeted straight away with a smile and shown to the table. I requested a quiet area , it was relaxing and comfortable . The service was excellent . All the waiting staff , including the staff who served the drinks, starters , and main meal especially Abrar were very polite, and attentive at all times . The food was outstanding, and beautifully presented the choice available was extensive and it was served hot and without delay. The signature cocktails are amazing . Overall the dining experience was outstanding in all areas. I would return without hesitation and recommend to family and friends. I have visited other high quality Indian restaurants and this is one of the best . Thank you for a truly wonderful dining experience .
Our first visit to Asha’s and was very impressed. Great food, anbiance and service. We will certainly be back
i have been 3 times now and always had great service and outstanding food!
The cocktails were over priced
the food was very good
the service was excellent
Always has been our First Choice for Authentic North Indian Cuisine, excellent Service along with Everything else
The food wasn't tasty except for one mix veg dish, they don't do soya milk and the menu for veggies was a little dull. The kitchen staff take a break at 2pm to you're restricted on orders. I last went about 4 years ago and it was much better then.
Superb Indian cuisine and immaculate relaxed service. An absolute treat.
It was Ok but curry’s were far too hot. We ordered mild curry and could barely eat it
A smart Indian restaurant with attentive, friendly staff. The food was excellent although a little expensive for what it was. It is a spacious, attractively appointed venue so it's unfortunate that the acoustics are so poor. The main dining room is rowdy making it impossible to carry on a conversation with your dining companion on the other side of the table.
The 2 for 1 deal is so misleading as we ordered food which we thought was 2 mains and no one told us any other wiser that it didn’t come under the 2 for 1 deal the manager said it was a plater and a main...
The managers attitude was very dismissive and he couldn’t really careless. The waiter at no point said this wasn’t on the 2 for 1 deal and to top it off we had been there 7 times in the last 3 weeks and it was only this time I checked the bill. As there was just myself and other half and it seems a lot of money since it was supposed to be 2 for 1.
Shame I will never go back as the food is great to be honest but once you feel like you have been mislead on an offer I would never go back.
Amazing food, service good, although felt rushed to order but when asked for more time they gave it to us. Not much gap between courses.
Very impressed first time there will definitely be returning
Very courteous and pleasant staff with excellent Service,
I do not think there is any scope for more improvement...... Best Wishes
It was a very nice dinner in a very nice restaurant. Great food, experienced service, very nice atmosphere. Amazing lobster. I also recommend grilled dishes. Great applause for the chef. Great choice and service at the bar.
We will definitely come back there again
Great food, great service, great value. Always a quick and friendly service, which for a business lunch is very helpful
As usual, Asha's was the perfect place to bring clients for an evening of great food, seamless service and a very convivial atmosphere. A well-deserved place at the top of Birmingham's dining scene.
Asha's is fabulous, always.
I go there when working in Birmingham and have travelled twice with friends from London for lunch. so many dishes are amazing I can't single one out...just choose whatever you might normally order and be amazed how good the Asha's version is.
First visit ( 3 March 2018). Went for pre-theatre meal. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you to everyone who served us.We had requested best table for our anniversary but appeared not to be noted. We were seated towards the rear. It was ok but cold. The restaurant is probably busier on Saturdays but due to the bad weather, it was not full for the early evening. There were mainly couples dining. We chose from the main menu although there is a pre- theatre menu. The food was well presented and delicious- compliments to the chef. The portions are generous which we liked as we prefer starters and main courses to pudding. The restaurant is named after the owner, the legendary Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle, but the restaurant style is not Bollywood. All in all a pleasant experience, great food and we would definitely visit again if in the area.
Consistently excellent food, service and ambience, it never fails to deliver. Highly recommended.
Atmosphere good. Food portions are too small in comparison with the high cost. Overpriced if u ask me! We had a table next to us which was well too noisy...waiter did nothing as he probably got scared lol.
Drinks are very expensive and full of ice rather than the drink...didnt offer the option have no ice!
Amazing food and delicious cocktails!
Worst food I have ever tried. I ordered fresh orange juice and it arrived as a glass of carton juice. Popadoms were all broken and food tasted like some ready meal from Tesco. Never again!
Have been to Asha's a few times before, love it every time. Food always excellent and different, cocktails superb, staff polite and helpful. Travel from Plymouth just to eat there. Would recommend to anyone who loves Indian good.
Went on a Wednesday evening it was very, very busy, but service still good and food lovely ...definitely not for a couple or romantic evening though lots of large groups spoil the ambience
the food was delightful and tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves !
Amazing quality of food! Delicious food in a really nice environment!
The best curry I have ever had - would recommend to anyone just wish there was one in London!
Food was amazing. Presentation was good and most important food tastes very good. Perfect atmosphere for any occasion. Service was great staff were pleasant. Overall brilliant place
Not our first visit and definitely will not be our last. The food is tremendous, highly recommended 👍🏻
An excellent all-round venue. I cannot fault the staff, surroundings or food. I have visited many times and can never wait for the next time. Not cheap but portions are huge, so huge that I have never left without a doggy bag! I have never made a bad choice.
As ever, the food at ashas is the best , and the 2for1 deal is a real winner.
We had such a great time at Ashas, the food was out of this world and was probably the best curry I've had in my life! Will definitely be back!
Great food/ambience with excellent food. Highly recommended
We booked through Open Table after leaving a message on Asha's answerphone, though I got a call the day after apologising for not ringing back. Anyway, on to the meal. Cocktail each to start plus poppadoms and chutneys. Mains were from the Biryani Festival Menu, which runs until the end of February, a chicken tikka masala biryani and a coconut prawn biryani. Both really tasty and so much food that one dish would have been sufficient for the pair of us. We like Asha's and it's not hard to see why.
Food was amazing but expensive. However you get what you pay for which is the best part. Amazing environment :)
Really worth trying this restaurant out, amazing food and flavours! A real dining experience!
This dinner was a wedding present for our friends and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience, so thank you Asha's!!
