We went for lunch on a Saturday. We didn’t realize that the lunch menu doesn’t apply on the weekend. You can only order from the brunch menu. The food was great but wish they had better information on the website to indicate inability to order from the menu we wanted .
Excellent service. Friendly staff! Very good food!
Nice, but food was so so
as usual food service accommodations are great. We were seated in the 65th street side and had a great quiet dinner with friends. Thank You
While my review is all around good, the noise level was very loud which made conversation at a table of 6 very difficult. My choice on this survey only gave me the choice of "energetic", not "very loud".
The menu is quite good, the food preparation is excellent and the service could not be better.
Lunch birthday date with an old friend. I had the ahi tuna salad; she had the salmon burger. Go with salmon. Tuna slices were sparse for cost. Delicious shrimp dumplings. Food was fresh. Waiter was great. Ask to sit at banquette. Very private.
Wonderful as always
Nice location and atmosphere. Food disappointing for the high price
The waitstaff were terrific. They even took something off the bill without my asking theM to do it. It was a lovely dinner. I only wish they hadn’t run out of lobster.
Food And service was excellent
Food was excellent. Online indicated there was a prix fixe menu, but we were not given or offered it. (I didn’t want to order from it anyway). We arrived before our reservation and were seated in the private dining room
Downstairs which was quiet. Service was good, but I was most impressed with the food. The diver scallops and filet mignon were some of the best I’ve had.
Atlantic Grill is a great option for pre-theatre dinning. It’s a big restaurant so they often have tables available, their menu is mostly fish but there are a few non fish options, and they are willing to accommodate allergies and food preferences. It’s a busy and fault noisy restaurant but the food is consistently good.
Overall the dining experience was enjoyable. The big drawback was both our meals arrived cold. The soup was cool followed by the side dish being cold. Food was sent back and then arrived hot. Surprised with this glitch at an upscale restaurant. Will rethink next time make reservations.
My family and I went for an early dinner after spending the day in the city. The place was great and food was fantastic. Atlantic Grill is a place we will be back.
Excellent value, food and ambiance...some very unique dishes too
I used to love Atlantic Grill but it’s quality and value has changed. I was there recently and spent $250 for 3 people and my mother's and my scallop dish consisted of two very small scallops and two very small shrimps and no sides of any kind, no vegetable, no rice or potato. For $72 that is unacceptable. This has not been the first time.
We had a great table in the back room. The front room was too noisy so we were very happy to be in the back.
The food and the service were excellent.
It was Thankgiving and the staff was so nice. The restaurant was quiet and calm and the meal was delicious. A perfect night out without any fuss
Excellent Thanksgiving dinner. Terrific server. Though crowded, they did an excellent job. Too noisy, but otherwise perfect.
The turkey Thanksgiving special was mediocre. The meat was fairly tasteless and only warm. The other items were OK, but not outstanding. The rolls and bred were very good. Service was very attentive and helpful.
Thanksgiving experience good but room temperature too warm, waitress did not show initial attentiveness to our table.
Food beyond exceptional & service! Fixed price for Thanksgiving was wrong online vs menu when we arrived. Online stated $50 per person but menu said $55.00. This bothered me cos I was paying for everyone.
No one likes these surprises! Suggest they apologize
Had Thanksgiving meal at Atlantic Grill. It was superb. The service, quality of food, temperature and food presentation were excellent. Food portions were generous and cost of the meal was reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant
This is the fourth or fifth year we have gone to Atlantic Grill for Thanksgiving Dinner and it just keeps getting better. The ginger ice cream and spiced whipped cream with and on the pumpkin pie was DIVINE! Thank you Atlantic Grill!!!
As usual, excellent food and service. The place never fails!
They replaced it
Excellent all around
We love this place and miss it from the UES where we live. The food is always delicious and we got a free dessert because we had tickets to the Philharmonic.
We will be back.
Prix Fixe lunch served until 4pm. An extraordinary value and highly recommended!
Atlantic Grill never disappoints!!! It is a reliable place for a tasty fish lunch or dinner
A large restaurant, we were seated in a quiet area, had great service, good food and a good wine recommendation. We will return.
The food is always very fresh and well prepared. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Sitting in the back room was very comfortable and quiet so that conversation was not a struggle, although that section was not crowded at the time.
Have eaten at the Atlantic Grill Lincoln Center many times. Food is always quite good, as is the service. This time the service was poor. Had to ask the waitress for everything, even had to go to the bar ourselves to take our drinks off the bar. Bartender insisted that he would bring them to our table, which he thoughtfully did.
Food this time was "ok". Service was phenominal
Not my favorite time at what is one of my favorite dining spot. Ended up paying $100 for a mediocre experience. The starters--the martini and my sushi roll--were very good. I chose an entree salad and it was nigh-on tasteless. It was a kale and brussels sprout mixture--and it had shrimp on the side. Not favorable to me at all. I don't distaste raw but this was hard to macerate and the sauce was undetectable and unfavorable. In addition, I learned the two chair tables are just to close to each other. I couldn't but help to hear my two neighbors at the next table as they talked about the Houston Grand Opera, Dear Evan Henson, and trips to Aspen--get the point? My dining partner had the scallops and shrimp entree. His lack of comment indicated his disinterested reaction to the plate. It was a skimpy portion, which was crying out for a veg or carb--just something. Will definitely return but I hope that I do better in my choice of food. Just saying
The food here was simply delicious. The initial start to the evening was rocky- there was some wait initially for service I think because the staff was setting up for the evening which turned out to be very busy. I think what they need to do is approach as soon as someone sits down and explained that that will get water and allow some time to peruse the menu- that way you don’t feel as if you’re being ignored. The first waiter came a very tall gentleman and did not introduce himself and asked if he could get us water. He also asked if we wanted a drink after he returned with the water. It turns out a woman whom we had seen looking at us earlier was our wsitess. When she eventually came and introduced herself she was lovely helpful and knowledgeable
The staff at the entrance to the restaurant are phenomenal. We got there at about 4:10pm which was earlier than our 4:30 pm reservation. One young lady was manning the phone dealing with the incoming crowd and trying to sort out costs and jackets to be given to outgoing patrons. This function she did with friendly ness professionalism respect and kindness and was very poised under the circumstances. We waited in the bar until our table was ready- the bar tender was also phenomenal. So overall the service was good to excellent. The food was excellent and delicious- only had an issue with portion for my order of scallops and shrimp which was the main course for which I counted maybe 6- 7 pieces both. But was very delicious.
Another never-fail pre-performance restaurant. Great food, excellent service (attentive in the best way) and so close to Lincoln Center. Thanks, AG, for keeping up your standards.
Have already recommended Atlantic Grill to friends. My ONLY issue was how slow the dinner service was. Even at lunch service was slow but not as slow as at dinner. LOTS of noise. We were in the 64 street side. Otherwise things were fine.
