Great food and service. In the mist of COVID, They did an excellent job of making customers feel comfortable. Chandeliers in the tents were a nice touch.

I remember this restaurant being better than it was, but I would like to return, maybe after they are open for inside dining again. The cocktails were very diluted and small, but with a full price tag. The food was just okay, but for the price, you expect higher quality. I had Branzino - but it was not served as a full fish, so the flavor was a little lacking. My dinner partner ordered angel hair pasta with seafood, but there was just a few shrimp and some clams. I would expect better for the price. However, during this time, we know restaurants are just trying to make it through - so YES, I would try again.

Food was okay. Portions were large. Service was good and the staff was very attentive. Just not the greatest food, albeit it wasn’t terrible.

We dined at the outdoor patio area recently which is well established to maintain social distancing and a comfortable ambiance. We enjoyed the seafood risotto and special pasta. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

Really well done in these trying times - Michelle, our server, did an outstanding job & accommodate a gluten-free request. The tent set up & tables gave a feeling of being safe in this setting with good social distancing. The food was up to Avanti's high standards.

They made it seem as if they did not want us there, we even talked about going elsewhere.

Avanti has expanded its outdoor dining to a very pretty wedding tent like arrangement in the parking lot -- white table cloths, chandeliers, candlelights. Their usual patio is also available. Best of all, they are serving all the regular items on the menu. Their prosciutto pizza is fabulous -- just right salty-chewy prosciutto on every slice with melting bufalo mozzarella, green and red peppers, light tomato base and a sprinkle of goat cheese on top. Yum! My companion had the frutti di mare pasta that had lots of seafood in a white wine sauce. Also very flavorful. The basket of crispy flat bread and garlic topped rolls is always a winner. Highly recommended for really reasonably priced always tasty Italian/continental dining. As with most restaurants during the lockdown, service isn't what it used to be because of staffing issues. But it's such a blessing to enjoy a semblance of normalcy with a soothing cocktail or glass of wine and an excellent meal.

Nice place! I hated the main dining area was closed due to COVID but the outdoor seating area was still very nice food was great service was good but we felt as tho they rushed us on everything from ordering to paying the tab there was also a very loud beyond obnoxious bday party that had no consideration for the other guest granted that’s not the restaurants fault but they maybe could have managed them better or cut them off sooner as they were very drunk all in all tho it was still a nice experience!

Service and ambiance was quite nice. They’ve done a great job with outdoor seating in their parking lot. The food however was just not good. I had salmon and shrimp risotto- which was a special. It was so extremely fishy that I couldn’t eat it. This was my 3rd visit and unfortunately, I’ve never been impressed with the food. I don’t think I’ll be back.

We had dinner there on Saturday, October 3. They have a lovely outdoor covid safe set up outdoors. The food is amazing! Great service. Would love to go back.

I rarely leave a review unless it’s positive. I was reluctant to leave a negative review when business is hard enough during the pandemic. But perhaps this feedback will help the restaurant reevaluate its current way of doing business. We had reservations for 4 @ 7:30. There was nobody else there except for another couple who arrived at 8. We were there celebrating a special occasion and were excited about the opportunity to dine out. We had to ask the server to dim the lights outside as they were painfully bright. She accommodated and was very pleasant and prompt throughout our meal. At 8:30, as we are midway through our entrees (having ordered apps and salads) she announces that the kitchen is closing (at 8:30-only one hour into our service) and if there is anything else we’d like. Not wanting to rush and feeling uncomfortable about ordering a dessert given the vibe that they were ready to close, we declined to order anything. Instead, I asked for an espresso. She returns to tell me their machine was already unplugged and would take 20 minutes to “boot up.” Um....okay. The owner was there and therefore aware of the closing procedures taking place. They then turned out the lights inside the restaurant. As we are putting our leftovers in boxes and signing the bill, I was really disappointed that I spent over $200 to be rushed through a celebratory dinner that ended prematurely because the owner wanted to close and go home. Incredibly unprofessional. I understand that with limited customers and overhead, cuts have to be made. But then customers should be told that if you eat there after 7:30, you better hurry up. $200 is lot to spend when you are robbed of the experience to linger and enjoy dessert and or an espresso over conversation with your family. We will not return. I wish the restaurant much success, but don’t take reservations if you aren’t prepared to offer your customers a full dining experience.

They have adapted very well to “outside dining”. They’ve made a great effort at “elegance “ with chandeliers outside! The wait staff was very attentive. We give them high marks for a very difficult situation.

We had reservations at 830 and still had to wait 30 min. But the waiter service was great and the food was excellent! Nice ambiance as well!

We had a wonderful meal Avanti's last Saturday evening. We were pleased with the outside dining arrangements. We had our heart set on the branzino the dimare, but learned that they were out of the branzino and out clams for the dimare. Therefore, we opted for the mushroom rigatoni with truffle oil which was absolutely delicious. Great food and service. They are located in an intersection so the noise level was at times an annoyance, but not enough to deter from the amazing food.

Outstanding Service, outstanding food. First time here, first time out in what has felt like a long time due to current circumstances. Could not have picked a better place. Please support small business. Things started off Fantastic with a bread basket and a wine recommendation and thing only got better from the. Food was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back very soon.

After trying to make a reservation at several other restaurants, we settled on Avanti. This was our first time here. The food was excellent, and so was there service. Our mom had a delightful birthday celebration, in spite of all of the Covid restrictions. We left happy and satisfied! We are looking forward to their full reopening, and will definitely be back!!
