Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant

I eat out often and first time dining here amazed me! The food were very tasty with generous portions. My main problem with eating out is the amount of sodium they put in food but Bacchus did it just right. I will definitely come back!

Justin was a very attentive waiter with excellent customer service. He gave many recommendations and let us taste a couple of wines which we were interested in. We look forward to returning to the restaurant in the near future!

The entire experience was INCREDIBLE! From being greeted until we left, nothing but exceptional experience! Our waitress, Kristen was SUPERB! Highly recommend!

An incredible dining experience in every way. Our waiter Kevin was knowledgeable, helpful, and very attentive! I had an incredible filet with the perfect sere! Of course the food at Bacchus is wonderful, but what surprised me was how reasonably priced the evening was for the delightful apps and entrees. BRAVO and thank you !!! (Also highly recommend the steak and eggs appetizer!!!)

Anniversary dinner - I had put that on the reservation and the waiter brought out two glasses of champagne to celebrate! Food was awesome even though there was a reduced menu due to COVID. Our waiter Justin was knowledgeable, helpful and gave us great service.

Food was excellent!!!! My husband and I dined celebrating our 13 year marriage anniversary. Other than the drugged out lady who was waving at us from outside and then proceeded to knock on the window where were we sitting (odd but kinda funny) it was so nice to have a wonderful meal together without our kids crying, fighting or asking for something every two minutes.

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Bacchus on Saturday evening. We sat out on the patio and the service and food were incredible. They even brought us 2 complementary campaign flutes for our anniversary! We cannot recommend this place enough!

we were seated in the courtyard. it was beautiful. the fire pits were gorgeous and gave off a bit of heat which was great. our entrees were delicious. our cheese plate was just ok. (the homemade biscuits were terrific) the rest of the options were again, just ok. the blt salad was almost embarrassing sparse. we actually laughed at the portion.

the courtyard is lovely. our service was good. we like this place but i would skip the appetizers. a fine place.

The overall experience and Ambience was excellent. The food was amazing with perfect flavor. We split the calamari and thought it to be one of the best we ever had and the filet was outstanding and cooked to perfect temperature!!! Five stars

Buffalo has many places, you can go to for dinner. But when it comes to going out for a great dinner. Bacchus, will always be on the top of the list. The restaurant is beautiful, and if you have a chance try out the patio. You can't go wrong with either setting. The food is just as amazing as the decor. The flavor profiles, is truly a food critic's dream. Bacchus is the type of restaurant, where you would try foods that's outside your comfort zone. Then you realize, you were missing out on so much. I recommend everyone to come here. Come to enjoy the atmosphere, come for the great service. Come to enjoy the mouth watering food. Come to enjoy your life.

Love Bacchus. Always get a great meal and they have a great wine list. Our waiter was Josh, first night of work, but clearly an old pro.
I'm hoping they'll be able to keep the patio a little warmer for the coming months....

This was the best restaurant experience I have had this year. Pleasant dining room, good social distancing. The tuna entree was outstanding, and the Caesar salad exceptional. My daughter ordered the chocolate cake, and I'm glad I got to share it - it was terrific. The location in downtown Buffalo is excellent as well. The prices are reasonable. This should be a go-to option for anyone wanting to dine in the city.

All the nice little touches. The table side French press. The oil "delivery device" with the spin. Quiet and upscale. Mike and the crew make it appear effortless.

We loved Bacchus. Our waiter, Justin was polite and fun to talk with. He also knew the menu inside out. His recommendations were on point. The atmosphere was great as well. The food was the best we have had on quite some time. Cant say enough about how much we enjoyed the place!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, food did not take long to come out. Everything tasted amazing, the chef did an outstanding job, will be back for sure.
