A fixture on the Hove dining scene, the Bali Brasserie is a fun and exotic hideaway on Kingsway Court that is a popular spot for parties and drinks-and-dinner dates. Quirky and luscious at the same time, the Bali Brasserie is a great place for after-work drinks and schmoozy luncheons, and the Tropical Bar – which is furnished with pool tables and a dance floor - hosts live blues, jazz and reggae bands every Thursday night.                                                                                                             Bali Brasserie is easily overlooked due to the location at the bottom of a block of flats. Once inside however, it is clean, bright and roomy. Brilliant, authentic tasting food, and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

                                                                                                            Decent food and tasty even for veg diner although waiter unable to make recommendations Ambience on Sunday is karaoke and despite separate dining area it is very loud! Surprising as Botox in corridor advises patrons to leave quietly Chicken dish was great and all food cooked extremely well The staff are lovely and well intentioned but service was slow, we were forgotten and food order mix up (which was promptly amended!) Would love to give it more stars...will try again for sure but a different night and allow more time for the casual approach to waiting on tables

                                                                                                            We visit on a frequent basis and have yet to have a bad meal. The staff are polite and very informative. There are gluten free, and vegetarian options available which are offered immediately. The place is always clean and tables are cleared frequently but in no way intrusive. Definitely worth a go. I would highly recommend the Rice table which is the set four course meal, with the main served as a hot buffet style. This allows you to try a little and have more after if you like it,

                                                                                                            I made a spontaneous booking at Bali Brasserie to celebrate my husbands birthday this week. It was our first visit and we were so impressed. When we arrived, we were the only customers which we thought might be a bit awkward, but the waiter/barman was so welcoming and friendly, that we soon felt comfortable and relaxed. Pretty soon we were joined by more guests, who looked like regulars and mentioned there is often live music on specific nights of the week which sounded good. Our order was taken by a lovely lady who was equally warm and attentive, she could’ve even been the boss! She asked us exactly how spicy we like our food which was reassuring, and when the food arrived we couldn’t believe how perfect it was - just delicious! Absolutely packed with flavour and presented beautifully, we haven’t enjoyed a meal out so much in ages. We’ll definitely be back!

The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. It was very quiet in the restaurant it wasn't very busy and so that felt a little awkward but nothing that could be helped.

So wish we hadn't left it so long. The reception was warm and helpful. Service staff were polite and efficient. The food was out of this world with staff helping with our choice. We had a mixed starter. Plenty of variety. Then two a fish dishes and a prawn dish to follow. Both were clearly prepared with fresh ingredients. Definatly be returning very soon.

                                                                                                            Love this place. Met some friends for dinner and ate a la carte rather than buffet. Food is superb value and the wine list is also well priced (starts at £16 a bottle). It used to have a wonderfully cheesy vibe to it, helped by the 70's decor but it's just had a refurb. It has lost some of it's charm if I am totally honest but our waiter informed us that they still have lots more coming, new furniture, wall art etc so it's not yet finished yet. Service was fantastic as it always has been on visits in the past too. I'm local to the area, I think this place is great fun and I hope to be dining here for years to come.

We had a drink in the bar while we ordered. It was comfortable - not the most subtle cocktail -a bit sweet- but a nice experience. We enjoyed the food very much -the fish curry was fabulous.                                                                                                             My friend and I enjoyed the satay ayam topped with peanut sauce and keripik. Their sambal blachan was definitely spicy enough ( we can handle the heat ) We tried the ayam kari, daging tiram and udang asam manis but nothing special to be honest and the mee goreng was disappointing. Warung Tujuh (7 Pool Valley) another Indonesian restaurant offers dishes that taste more authentic.

                                                                                                            I've eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. Good service, great food at a very good price. What's not to love?

                                                                                                            I didn't like this place at all. The setting should have put me off, it's located in what appears to be a social housing block. Food was full to ordinary and the place was full of noisy drunken birthday parties. Many seemed to be enjoying themselves and I think my sustain is entirely due to snobbery and having had the good fortune to go to so many better restaurants. If you like holiday camps, you'll probably enjoy the Bali Brasserie...
