Bali Brasserie is easily overlooked due to the location at the bottom of a block of flats. Once inside however, it is clean, bright and roomy. Brilliant, authentic tasting food, and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.
A very nice and calm restaurant. Very good value for the money.
The food, service, welcome was wonderful- there was a private party in the main room so we were welcomed into the bar area- food was amazing
Excellent Food and Service. Hard to find but definitely worth a visit.
Had an excellent meal while visiting Brighton with family. Food and service were excellent. Will definitely return.
The buffet was great and very good value for boney. A range of dishes to choose from.
Decent food and tasty even for veg diner although waiter unable to make recommendations
Ambience on Sunday is karaoke and despite separate dining area it is very loud! Surprising as Botox in corridor advises patrons to leave quietly
Chicken dish was great and all food cooked extremely well
The staff are lovely and well intentioned but service was slow, we were forgotten and food order mix up (which was promptly amended!)
Would love to give it more stars...will try again for sure but a different night and allow more time for the casual approach to waiting on tables
I thi k the Bali could now and again change some of the dishes. As gets a bit boring same dishes all the time.
-Nice family atmosphere
-Nice decor in restaurant
-Food a little too oily and smaller portions but still filling
Food was very good and service excellent. Place was a little louder than I like and tables a little close together. Buffet looked good but we ordered from the menu.
We visit on a frequent basis and have yet to have a bad meal.
The staff are polite and very informative. There are gluten free, and vegetarian options available which are offered immediately.
The place is always clean and tables are cleared frequently but in no way intrusive.
Definitely worth a go. I would highly recommend the Rice table which is the set four course meal, with the main served as a hot buffet style. This allows you to try a little and have more after if you like it,
Great dinner the truth is don’t judge where it is just be open minded and enjoy delicious food!
Went on a Friday night. Very quiet. Normally go Thursdays when there is liv music and it’s very busy and which has always been great. Food always good. Service always good. Especially good if want a special diet. Will be going again.
unexpected pearl, i did enjoyed very bite. really great evening.
Deafening karaoke ruined the evening although food was excellent
Fantastic meal as always. Had the 'Rice Table', which is excellent food and great value for money. The Chicken Satay is the best ever.
Food is always very good and the service is excellent very nice atmosphere
I made a spontaneous booking at Bali Brasserie to celebrate my husbands birthday this week. It was our first visit and we were so impressed. When we arrived, we were the only customers which we thought might be a bit awkward, but the waiter/barman was so welcoming and friendly, that we soon felt comfortable and relaxed. Pretty soon we were joined by more guests, who looked like regulars and mentioned there is often live music on specific nights of the week which sounded good. Our order was taken by a lovely lady who was equally warm and attentive, she could’ve even been the boss! She asked us exactly how spicy we like our food which was reassuring, and when the food arrived we couldn’t believe how perfect it was - just delicious! Absolutely packed with flavour and presented beautifully, we haven’t enjoyed a meal out so much in ages. We’ll definitely be back!
The restaurant was closed owing to urgent maintenance and therefore I’m unable to leave a review
The food was fantastic, we were very impressed with the flavours of the dishes. The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. It was very quiet in the restaurant it wasn't very busy and so that felt a little awkward but nothing that could be helped.
Had our first date at the bali brasserie and returned 6 years on. So wish we hadn't left it so long. The reception was warm and helpful. Service staff were polite and efficient. The food was out of this world with staff helping with our choice. We had a mixed starter. Plenty of variety. Then two a fish dishes and a prawn dish to follow. Both were clearly prepared with fresh ingredients. Definatly be returning very soon.
Good food and good service. Good value too. Would come again
Have not been here for a while and it was lovely . Good food and service.
There was a wedding on so they were slightly distracted.
Always consistently good. A firm favourite of the family.
Great food, wonderful staff and good value. What else can you ask for?!
Has been refurbished since last there - great modern feel whilst retaining the established good customer service and excellent food.
Great food as always, friendly atmosphere, excellent service, vegetarian options. Can be a bit noisy if there is a party in the bar otherwise a great venue
Retro place with very nice food.
Food quality and choice was excellent. We had the buffet and it was beautiful. Good wide choice. Service was very friendly and attentive. Beautiful authentic decor. Very comfortable seating. Was well worth the drive from Worthing.
A la carte choice excellent. Buffet good variety of choices. Service dood.
Delicious, reasonably -priced food in a kitsch/retro setting. Friendly and attentive service. It has to be experienced!
Love this place. Met some friends for dinner and ate a la carte rather than buffet. Food is superb value and the wine list is also well priced (starts at £16 a bottle). It used to have a wonderfully cheesy vibe to it, helped by the 70's decor but it's just had a refurb. It has lost some of it's charm if I am totally honest but our waiter informed us that they still have lots more coming, new furniture, wall art etc so it's not yet finished yet. Service was fantastic as it always has been on visits in the past too.
I'm local to the area, I think this place is great fun and I hope to be dining here for years to come.
Being here for the first time, looking for an alternative to Chinese cuisine, tried their Nasi Goreng (Indonesia Fried Rice) and it was excellent! The staff were excellent and attentive to your needs as well! Will definitely visit again.
Poor food for the prices they have. The staff were really friendly and tried their best to make us feel really good, but the food was nothing special. It was like flying Ryanair for the price of Cathay Pacific.
We had a lovely meal here - we were well looked after by friendly attentive staff. We had a drink in the bar while we ordered. It was comfortable - not the most subtle cocktail -a bit sweet- but a nice experience. We enjoyed the food very much -the fish curry was fabulous. We would go again.
My friend and I enjoyed the satay ayam topped with peanut sauce and keripik.
Their sambal blachan was definitely spicy enough ( we can handle the heat )
We tried the ayam kari, daging tiram and udang asam manis but nothing special to be honest and the mee goreng was disappointing.
Warung Tujuh (7 Pool Valley) another Indonesian restaurant offers dishes that taste more authentic.
As always, the food was excellent and service attentive.
I've eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. Good service, great food at a very good price. What's not to love?
I didn't like this place at all. The setting should have put me off, it's located in what appears to be a social housing block.
Food was full to ordinary and the place was full of noisy drunken birthday parties.
Many seemed to be enjoying themselves and I think my sustain is entirely due to snobbery and having had the good fortune to go to so many better restaurants.
If you like holiday camps, you'll probably enjoy the Bali Brasserie...
